Do not use Kayak or Expedia!!!! Never got the car!! Called the number on the Expedia reservation form for them and got an out of service message. Called the number from the sign at the airport and got dead air and static. Looked them up on line and called that number, also not in service. Went to their website and they don’t have the US listed as a place they rent cars from. Cannot find a number for Expedias customer service, everything I tried sent me to their FAQ page with no way to contact them. Their live chat function didn’t have a live person and they never returned my request to be contacted. Next we tried Kayak customer service since we reserved through this site and can’t get anybody to talk to. Both Kayak and Expedia websites say they are not responsible for refunds as you are booking with the actual rental company. Never got a car, never got a customer service rep to contact me. Had to go into the airport and get a car from Hertz. Don’t use a third party reservation site to book. Find the deal and go to the actual website. Pay the extra $5 and actually get the vehicle. they don't accept most major insurances, and will make you pay at least $50/day extra to use theirs. It's about a 5 min tram ride from the airport, so plan accordingly. I wish i just paid a bit extra and rented from someone at the airport with more upfront pricing.Reviewed 12 Feb 2025

I rented a car via kayak and asked for a seven seater. I was offered a 5 seater. I complained and they explained me it was an internet error. I argued and then was offered a 7 seater as “commercial gesture”but it was a mistake from me they told me 4 times. I was charged more than 300$ for insurance and liability plus the 170 $ of the rental. It was really expensive for a 3 days rental. People were rude too.Reviewed 2 Jan 2025

They gave me a car that had been sitting. All four tires were partially deflated and as soon as In left I had to deal with Finding a spot to inflate them. One of the tires I had to inflate every couple of days before it finally went flat and I had to replace it. Car was not well cleaned out. And the fees for insurance are insane. Either you have an extra £2000 for them to hold onto or you give them $1000. Next time I will go to Enterprise… I’ve had much better experiences with them.Reviewed 21 Dec 2024

There were 5 people In line. It took 2 hours to get to the desk. Many employees came in and saw the back up but instead of helping the customers, they chatted with other employees and chatted with the only person behind the counter, slowing the process even more. The vehicle was very dirty. The mileage on my paper work said the vehicle had 200k miles when it only had 150k on the odometer. The paper work said the gas was at 3/4 of a tank. The vehicle actually only had 1/4 tank. The A/C knobs were broken. The steering wheel was sticky and there was dirt of the passenger seat and trash on the floor in the back.Reviewed 10 Nov 2024

Worst experience ever. Hidden driving permissions charges. Extra charges for carwash even though Car is completely clean. All this charges must be payed previously receiving the car. None of this extra hidden charges are notified in web, they said it was an error of the page and they reported that this charges must be placed, but, they made you pay or cancel your reservation without a refund...is a complete scam...Reviewed 6 Nov 2024
