I liked the hot shower and tv.
The bed was hard. The pillows were hard. One bank of outlets in the bathroom didn't work. The microwave didn't work.
Rude front desk
Price was ok
Front desk staff was rude. Didn't show my reservation even though I had email confirmation and had paid in full. Told me it was my problem because she needed to get her commission from them. Excuse, I've paid. How you get your money is your problem. Not mine.
One big "PLUS" and several "MINUSES" during our st
We came to Garland for a weekend wedding and the location was perfect; close to both the bride's home and the church. Plus, the Days Inn was one of the only motels that had a room with two queen beds (I travelled there with my two adult daughters and infant grandchild). The room and motel was clean, but did have that "old motel" odor (perhaps from the carpet?)
The front desk attendant was very rude when I came to the desk and asked for a third set of towels (there were three of us in the room and needed a third set). Our door lock would not operate properly. The back entry doors were continually propped open by a rock throughout our stay; I kept throwing the rocks over the fence, but it was a futile effort. Finally, no ice in the ice machine! I ended up having to go out and buy ice for our cooler.
