Cons (-) Everything under construction, lamp broken, dirt and smashed bugs on walls, navigating to room through hanging plastic, windows blocked out. The online info for the hotel indicates a luxurious property which is miles from the truth. We did complain and did receive a small discount but the experience was dismal.

Pros (+) They staff were very apologetic and did their best to provide great service despite the fact that this hotel is a dated crumbling relic - it has been purchased by a hotel group and it will be unrecognizable - completely transformed and beautiful when it's finished.
Cons (-) We never would havbooked there had we known the state of the reno, we were advised there were renovations but this is far beyond what we expected. it's surprising it's open right now considering the scale of renovation. The pool and whirlpool were drained which was disappointing. But the beds and pillows were fantastic and we slept well.
