Pros: The property was clean. The staff were attentive. The food was well served and tasteful. The location is lacking entertainment. It is far from commerce and you need to take a taxi or some other form of transportation to leave the premises.
Cons: The hotel is far from everything. There is not enough to do around there, unless you like walking, a lot.

Pros: Very nice hotel, good food, walkable location, very clean, friendly staff
Cons: Our room was under the gym and we were awoken at 5am to a person on the treadmill, it sounded like a strong subwoofer in our room. Knowing this was a problem, the hotel moved us to a different room to let us sleep (after 3 phone calls and a visit to the front desk finally demanding a move). They gave us free breakfast for our trouble, around $25. It's a know problem for them, but they take the risk knowing the odds of someone using the treadmill in the 24 hr gym is low.

Pros: The mini chocolates they give each day.
Cons: I did not like the breakfast, there were not many options and the options that were available were of poor quality. The staff, for instance the doorman, were not as attentive or amable as the one from Galeria or Ramada. The doorman in La Galeria would always greet people and make sure they are safe when getting into a taxi and even walking around the hotel. The airport shuttle, which is included in the 1,210.18 dollars that I paid for this hotel, was unable to take my mother and I to the airport just because we were half an hour late. The bellman told us we would have to take a taxi, meanwhile the airpot shuttle was right there in front of my eyes. When a situation similar to this occurred in La Galeria Man-Ging, the hotel paid for the taxi, Oro Verde, however, did not. I am very dissatisfied with my experience in this hotel.

Cons: The staff didn't seem all that organized. Every morning, a service person came around and asked if we had any laundry. Then one afternoon, after the room was cleaned and we thought we could relax, a service person came around three times, to deliver things that were left out of the cleaning session. It was most annoying when we were trying to take a rest. That would destroy any chance for romance. Our room didn't have a "do not disturb" sign. Apparently, we had to request it and we didn't discover that until our last day there.
7.7 Good
Pros:
Cons: This hotel staff has the strange idea that calling your room multiple times to ask if you need anything is a good idea. It is not! Twice they woke me. I asked that they stop calling the room but they did not stop. I had to unplug the phone.

Pros: The staff is delightful. The breakfast food is good. Today had scrambled eggs, a beef stew-like dish, rice, fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads, cold meat and cheese. Fruit juice and coffee. Don't know if they had tea. Building 2 has huge, lovely rooms but absolutely no view. You see roofs and cement buildings. If you want to see the park, cathedral etc ask how you get a view room. They are smaller rooms but also nice.

Pros: Excellent location at a walking distance from most attractions like the Malecon 20002 and the iguana park.
Cons: The service was average : had to ask for a wash cloth that was missing in the room. I had or remind them to replenish the bottled water in my room . The breakfast selection was pretty basic. The first morning I showed up at 8.00 am. About 30% of the supplies were missing. It took the restaurant about 15 minutes to refill.g

Cons: They have changed the breakfast. It used to be incredible now it's still ok but the change is huge. It's been getting less than before for the last couple times I've stayed there. Also the free welcome drink coupon is now a coupon for 1/2 off a cocktail. I didn't ask it it can be used on wine or beer. Less breakfast staff today. Had to get the greeter to get me coffee. Nope, you aren't to pour the coffee yourself.

Pros:
Cons: The hotel has a strong and penetrating cigarette smell. The smell is so uncomfortable and it makes it hard to sleep to concentrate to be in the room. The gym is a ripoff, it's not motivating to stay in the room. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Breakfast was poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to all amenities and a short 9 minute cab drive from the airport. It has interesting art work, large clean rooms, comfortable bed and awesome shower pressure. The price point was excellent
Cons: I just needed a thicker comforter for the bed. Which is a super minor detail. I am sure I could have asked the front desk! Otherwise it was so

Cons: I couldn’t stay longer
8.3 Excellent
Pros: street view and bad area
Cons: breakfast for 4 starts hotel should be better

Pros:
Cons: Do not let yourself to be misled by the pictures: The rooms are ran down, quite squallid, and cleaning could be improved. The breakfast is supposedly served in a near-by shop however the place was unable to serve hot drinks when we got there (the coffee machine had broken down) and they refused to even just boil some water for a tea (the staff was in fact very rude - also, they do not speak English at all and communication was utmost challenging). The area is ok during the day, but it is not advisable to walk the surroundings in the evenings.

Pros: Room was clean, modern, tasteful, so was bathroom. Nice area, close to cafes, banks, boardwalk.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't included though I thought I had seen that when I booked (maybe I'd just read another review where someone liked the breakfast?). The wifi in the room was terrible, though that was definitely included, as it was part of the reason I stayed there.

Cons: Breakfast is poor for a buffet, and while the rooms are renovated, the building itself is worn out. Hot water is the shower was also very unreliable. I had my room at a bargain, but I can't imagine anyone willing to pay full price for this.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The shuttle never came to pick us up at the airport. There was black mold in the bathroom as well as cockroaches! Our room was on the 6th floor but we had to take the elevator to the 7th floor and walk down a flight of stairs to get to our very small room. Based on our stay I would say visitors from USA will be very disappointed. Stay near the airport not in the City Center is what we were told after our stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect plus you take my small dog and you have an elevator! Also like the small refrigerator in room.
Cons: Sheets are poorly fitting for a queen size bed. They keep falling off the corners. I also don't like the top cover. It is too thin and keeps catching on my rough feet. Also not many TV channels and picture quality was poor.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The exit.
Cons: They gave me a different room There wasn't hot water The AC wasn't working The tv cable signal was bad The light in the room was intermitent
