Pros: Very nice, quiet, you can see that the owners really love the place and are so nice to people who are staying in town. They’re very knowledgeable! Absolutely would stay again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully relaxing.
Cons: The only thing wrong was the height of the shower head. I am 5 foot 7 inches ( not tall) the head was at my chest. But that was the only inconvenience. I am rested restored and ready to face the world again. I look forward to a return visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage I was in was very cute, the gardens were beautiful! We had a great time stay at the Fern Grove and we will be staying there again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Female staff. Location, location, location. Good food for a continental breakfast, Much better than I expected. All in all, it was well worth the $$ for a spur of the moment booking.
Cons: Memory foam mattress made my night hell. Had to sleep in the chair. Not everyone likes to sink to the core of the earth when sleeping. We booked on-line at 5 PM and were told, when we arrived, that they don't take reservations after 3 PM. He wasn't happy about having to honor the on-line booking. Not my problem.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very expensive area in the summer so while the rate was high for most places it was reasonable for this area. The woman who was responsible for the breakfast area, Jan?, was very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. The facilities were excellent! The breakfast had a number of options and the room was quite comfortable. It got very nice sun in the afternoon as did the very nice pool area.
Cons: As mentioned above, the overall cost was high but this unfortunately is typical in this area.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location great. Cool town and river. Full kitchen.
Cons: Bed was terrible. Saggy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, secluded resort.
Cons: The staff communication regarding arrival times needs to improve, regardless of the 'fine print'. Most people are on the go these days and we rely on other modes of communication. It was apparent that our late arrival was an inconvenience for the on duty staff - we work until 5:00 p.m. and it was a five hour drive to the resort!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, coxy room, beautiful setting, hot tub and pool were in good shape and empty of other people!
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Clean newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage. Very pleasant manager.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Guerneville Lodge was quiet, peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Room was simple, and inviting. The lack of television in the room was not a problem. Movies and books in the lobby. While this is a old lodge, it did not smell old. Everything was clean. If looking for quaint, this is it.
Cons: It took a long time for the water in the shower to get hot. Once it did, the temperature was fine.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very small. it was nicely decorated, and clean. Main house was warm and inviting, staff were very nice.
Cons: Room was very small, bathroom was tiny. There several little finish details during the construction of the house that were functional, but bothersome, such as the shower handle was not secured well to the wall and would move when you adjusted the water temperature. The water pressure was also very low.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners take pride in very little detail. It’s quiet and beautiful property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Were v impressed by the care the innkeepers took to provide a very personal service and homemade cooking, such as home baked cookies and specially baked dishes at breakfast, plus they were charming hosts.
Cons: Shower could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Supportive & responsive owners. Fabulous breakfast!!!
Cons: TV was too dark. Only had Direct TV remote, therefore could not adjust the brightness ourselves. Essentially could not use TV.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything here. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - freshly made with local produce every day, the rooms nicely decorated with extremely comfortable bed. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser all included in the room which is a nice touch. Free bottled water from the reception fridge is also a lovely touch, as well as home made cake and lots of information of things to do and places to eat. Although it appears fairly close to the road on the map, it is quite set back in reality and it was very quiet - you couldn't hear any road noise. Dana and Brian were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and what to do/see. The location is perfect for lots of wine tasting, seeing Redwoods, lovely surrounding towns and general relaxing sightseeing. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: I needed a quick overnight so wasn’t able to enjoy breakfast or any of the amenities. I wish I could since I had to pay extra to sleep my kiddos. Maybe next time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were extraordinary pleasant, kind, and eager to assist with providing information about things to do in the area. Additionally, the breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit, quiche, sausage, etc. And, the outdoor seating and flowers provided a spectacular oasis.
Cons: The inn was located pretty close to the highway, so there is a bit of traffic noise, but it settles down during sleeping hours.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was in a very nice older house. They had all the comforts and amenities with excellent meals.
Cons: Proximity to the road and the noise, we kept the fan going to baffle the noise. We were in the downstairs room and heard people walking above us late at night. The room has ants and seemed a bit damp.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: I thought the shower too slippery & water pressure a little low
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding hosts, Brian and Dana. Best breakfasts we have ever had in a B&B.

Pros: Nice place with friendly staff. Perfect location right on the river and in town but off the major road. Close to the 24 hour Safeway in case you need anything at any time. The hot tub stays open till midnight which was perfect for us to go have a late night dip. Loved our stay, will definitely return next time we are in Guerneville.

Pros: Great location by the river
Cons: The whole place is old and can use maintenance and refreshing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The employees go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one.
Cons: No pool during our stay, they were working on it though.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: You can't beat the location if you want to be in walking distance from everything. It's really the most central location in town, and right on the river! It's super casual, a bit messy in some places outside, but it kind of adds to the laid back charm. I would call it comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for walking to restaurants & shops.
Cons: It would have been enjoyable to have had a screen door on the sliding glass door to the deck.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wasn't expecting it to be like it was I thought I was going to a motel but it was like a little cabin it was awesome nice and quiet it had everything that you need it there
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Just an authentic classic that is well cared for
Cons: Shower was hard to get adjusted to proper temp
7.0 Good
Pros: Very quiet, river front location. A little muddy because the parking lot isn't paved.
Cons: A little dated. Flood lights didn't work when I tried to walk to my car at night. Ground was very slippery due to the mud and a slight slope. Felt a little uneasy going to sleep because the deadbolt was broken. We pushed furniture against the door. There was no wood for the fireplace readily available you had to walk down to the end of the property to get it. There's not enough outlets but we made it work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed how quiet the resort was, especially that we happened to be staying during a very busy weekend. Erika was awesome and very accommodating for our special need. Will definitely be back.

6.3 Good
Pros: The places is amazing. Good people.
Cons: For the price.I was expecting the pool and got tub were in functionality... but nothing works. That was really disappointing..
4.3 Okay
Pros: I would say my first word about this property is brown - Everything from the walls to the lampshades to the carpeting is brown and drab, not a fresh flower in sight. No color anywhere. Breakfast was OK nothing great. Host greeted us with barely a smile although we did get a glass of welcome champagne. The floor for the shower was plastic. The 3 free bottles of water in the room was the basic $.89 a bottle kind. Just nothing that made this place special.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Grounds
Cons: Poor representation of quality. Could have been better.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: the property seemed tired and staff seemed to lack drive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so helpful, and we just enjoyed the whole experience.....Slept like we were home, so comfortable...
Cons: The restaurant was very nice, the only complaint i had was there was only one choice of Breakfast and because i have some medical issues, i wish there was just one more choice of Breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully maintained and nice setting Great location
Cons: Noisy vent in the room A space heater in the room for additional heat needed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Applewood is a lovely inn for Adults with private rooms that were well appointed with plush towels, wine glasses and robes. The buildings have been lovingly restored and we were pleasantly surprised that we also had a passport to many wineries in the area which helped us to decide where to tour. The breakfast was lovely and delicious.
Cons: The grounds need attention - the gardens and courtyard were not well tended. The hot tub did not work properly and the pool area was not kept clean and tidy - it needed daily sweeping and the furniture brushed off. The outdoor areas in general were somewhat neglected.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were so comfy. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom has magnifying mirror. Shower was fabulous. All was so quiet. Perfect stay.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast and the morning counter coffee disappeared very early-before 8am!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel, and each visit has been a pleasant experience!
7.5 Good
Pros: Missed the breakfast. Almost had to bribe the young waitress for a cup of coffee in the lobby at 8:30 am.
Cons: Not tissues in the room. This is an amenity one associates with solid middle class places like Holiday Inn. I got the sense that management was cutting corners with tissues and coffee....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My Breakfast was amazing. More Inportantly Samantha, (who served my breakfast) was awesome. She was even kind enough to share local knowledge on the town of Windsor. I found it to be very informational and interesting. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Cons: I just wish the pool and whirlpool was open. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was VERY clean and had great amenities.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent adjacent to 101 freeway and Old Redwood Hwy. Easy trip (40min) to Calistoga / St Helena area for wedding on Memorial Day wknd when Bottle Rock was on and Napa Valley sold out. Convenient to Sonoma Valley wineries such as Copain.
Cons: The closet door would not stay open and the space between it and the bathroom door was tight which was aggravating and made dressing a bit awkward. Also, the lighting was AWFUL except for the bathroom. No lighting at the closet or the area where the coffee maker was located. Only lights in the room were bedside lights and one floor lamp. Fine One window was jammed so we could not open it which we would have preferred vs using AC. Mgmt should make sure windows are operable to save on AC costs!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The hotel was over priced

8.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was accommodating and friendly, great breakfast buffet
Cons: the hallways smelled musty, could have been because it rained all week, chairs inside the rooms could be cleaner
4.0 Okay
Cons: Google maps took us in circles, so finally went to the OTHER Holiday Inn across the freeway for directions. Exhausted at 1 in the morning and they had given away our room! Then took FOREVER to find another room. Unprofessional and disorganized.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly. Room comfortable.
Cons: Under construction. Parking minimal due to this.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, shower was great as well as breakfast.
Cons: It was remodeling and I wasn’t aware, it was not pleasant to walk along the aisle (that was prepared for remodeling, not for guests), staff was very noisy and it seemed they were having barbecue that was smelling very strong along the night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: We used the spa and noticed a rusted razor in the hot tub. Very disturbing and unexpected. Spoke to front desk and emailed manager. Still waiting to hear back

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and newly renovated. Bed was great.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, comfy bed, all new facilities. Very clean. Breakfast included hot items, scrambled eggs, sausages and waffles.
Cons: There is extensive updating being done so the hot tub was unavailable, which was a big disappointment. Parking was tight with all the new materials containers taking up space.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was polite and ready for us upon check-in. The grounds were clean and quiet as was the room. The hot tub was just what I needed!quiet
Cons: We stayed in a room with a hot tub in it. I appreciated a clean hot tub but I felt like I was breathing bleach the whole time. Our window opened to a parking lot. Other than ok. Probably better to just keep the hot tubs outside.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love the ambiance, the pet friendly option. Bed was super comfortable!
Cons: Room has a musty smell, that airing out did not reduce, had to buy an air freshener. Also wi-fi was very spotty.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room dark poorly laid out. Bed too soft. Deck faced directly at neighbors doors. Not a comfortable seat. Hot tub bad location.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The room had musty smell. The hotel was under renovation and they did not inform while booking. The website is deceptive. The location was old and depressing. The Tesla destination charger was not working. There was no staff on property
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Hot no air, bugs n no person on proprrty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was in a spa suite with a hot tub on the balcony and it was marvelous. I love the size of the suite. The bed was big and super comfortable. The decor was romantic. I loved the fireplace and the fact that they had chilled champagne glasses in the fridge upon arrival. The hot tub is PERFECT for two ppl, over looking the vineyard
Cons: Should have two extra towels for hot tub use.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms at a very scenic location. The community of Guerneville was a great little community of genuinely sweet people. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, wineries, and pubs nearby. The vineyards and trees were beautiful to see and the environment was very relaxing.
Cons: I know the flood wasn't their fault but I wish the prices for the room would have been lower due to the fact that all of the amenities weren't working because of the flood. The pool was not operating at all which would have been a nice touch to a relaxing weekend. We paid around $450 for two nights of just having a hotel room nearby a bunch of wineries. I think it may have been a little overrated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great property located right in the heart of Guernville, Ca
Cons: WiFi connection in our room was so poor it was almost nonexistent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was great...very welcoming and romantic. Room was really nice too with the gas fireplace and the hot tub. And great location...walking distance from all the stores and restaurants.
2.2 Mediocre
Pros: Not much to like, the staff was understanding of why we wanted to check out
Cons: The rooms were unclean, sheets, towels and floor were all worn and stained. Bugs in the sink and tub, and hand made signs to not use the AC, instead open a window.... not worth the money at all!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, beautiful location. Great bed, sheets nice and clean. Room very clean. Would go there again. And TV was good.
Cons: Wifi was non-existent. It sucked. Verizon wireless does not work there either.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall, a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway, close to San Francisco. Close to the beaches and a 5 minute drive from Korbel.
Cons: Wedding next door that had a live band that went until 10:30. Not the managements fault. And we were warned ahead of time. I didn't mind the band at all, they played great music! My girlfriend and I spent the day at Korbel and were just tired. We wanted to go to bed early.
