Pros: We have stayed here many times on our trips to Harlingen, this hotel is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Love how big the rooms are. Staff is always friendly. We had to cut our trip short because of COVID-19, but we will be back when they get rescheduled

Cons: Our room had bedbugs. We saw one on the sheet not long after we arrived. They agreed to give us a new room, but did not seem at all alarmed, which was surprising to us. To top it off they then doubled charged us for the room! I would avoid this hotel.

The girl then told me there was only one ava8. I explained I need 2 because I had a total of 4 people. She was able to find a room but with 2 beds for a ln outrage amount if money. We got to the hotel and the parking lot was empty. I couldn't understand when I was told no more rooms available. The girl on duty when we got there was not only able to get us 2 rooms but cut the price in half. We got to our room opened the door, the comforter looked as if someone was sitting on it. pulled the comforter n sheets back and there were large dark stains on the sheets. Called the front desk told them and they had someone come to our room. They were disgusted. We ended up getting another room

Pros: Stayed over Memorial Day weekend to visit friends. Were very happy with the assigned room, but within 5 minutes of opening the door they called to offer us an upgrade to a suite, no extra charge! It was wonderful!
This is an older facility that is showing some signs of salt air deterioration, but the owners are obviously working very hard to restore it, and the king size suite they gave us was just fabulous!
The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and recently renovated, and very reasonably priced. A great value for those who aren't looking to pay for luxury accommodations.
Cons: The WiFi was rather slow. Bring your own HotSpot.

Pros: The room was on the first floor. The maid service did not disturb you until check out time of 11 am. The room was clean and the linens were free of stains. The pool was well maintained.

Will never come back here again.

Cons: motel location was a bit of a challenge for our vehicle GPS, because of the road construction in the vicinity, however that's not your fault. When we opened the unit door we were overwhelmed by the scent generator that was plugged into the wall. We unplugged it and opened the window. By the way, thank you for having windows that actually open...that's rare these days! And for a motel that claims to not allow pets, there sure were a lot of them...I understand you charge extra if the customers break the no-pet rule, good extra-revenue generator.

We got to the hotel and the parking lot was empty. I couldn't understand when I was told no more rooms available. The girl on duty when we got there was not only able to get us 2 rooms but cut the price in half. We got to our room opened the door, the comforter looked as if someone was sitting on it. pulled the comforter n sheets back and there were large dark stains on the sheets. Called the front desk told them and they had someone come to our room. They were disgusted. We ended up getting another room
