The vehicle was smaller that what we ordered and it reeked of cigarette smoke. My husband had severe allergies and the smoke caused a serious reaction. It took a bottle of Fabreeze and quite a bit of work to rid the smell for the return trip to the airport. My husband was not able to be in the car for the entire week that we had it.9.6 Wonderful

Friendly staff. Got lucky with shuttle back to airport - did not have to wait too long. Good value.Cons:
The car was very worn for only having 12,000 miles. Lot's of dings and dents, stained seats, chipped windshield. May I was at Rent-a-Wreck? But it ran fine and no issue with how the car operated.10.0 Wonderful

Filthy on inside Filthy on outside we actually stopped and had to wash the windows as the vehicle had been wiped with a water cloth that left TONS of streaks everywhere that we couldn't see out Had garbage / used kleenex inside car / had used rags stuffed in the doors that someone used for cleaning / sand everywhere The car was 4 miles from airport and they didn't open til 9:00 and we had to be at our plane at 8:30...nearly missed plane BAD EXPERIENCE...WILL NEVER RENT HERE AGAIN!!Avis

GREAT experience with the Avis team in Harlingen, TX: half an hour after I returned the car, they discovered a rather important key on the floor that had fallen from my pocket. They called immediately to notify me and I was able to get back to the rental desk in time to retrieve it and still make my flight. Can't say enough for the professionalism, courtesy, and diligence of this branch.Dollar

Rep was understanding and gave me a different rental when the original was dirty and the tire was missing hub cap.Cons:
The original car Toyota carolla was dirty on the inside. As if someone had been eating and left crumbs all over the front. I should've figured when as soon as I saw the car the front driver side tire was missing its hub cap. It was just a black rim.Hertz
