Was going to return the car a day early. I was told that I would not be reimbursed for the unused day. Kept the car for the full rental time. When I returned the car in the 4th at 16:30 hrs there was no Hertz company rep in the booth or at the counter inside the terminal. I went back outside to the booth and I Hertz rep finally showed up. Severe lack of staffing at this location. Hertz reps will not accompany you to inspect the vehicle when you initially get the car. When asked about documenting existing damage to the vehicle they hand you a paper form to fill out. I take pictures of everything to cover myself.Reviewed 5 Jul. 2022

Because of a lack of crew to fly the airplane that was supposed to take me to my destination (Baton Rouge), I had to cancel my reservation with Hertz. I was told that I would be given a refund in 5-7 days. I'm still waiting and concerned that it's not coming.Reviewed 22 Mar. 2022

we checked in early not realizing it was LSU homecoming. despite the fact of the rental car market being tight, we were given the option to upgrade and the process went extremely smooth and we were on our way quickly.Reviewed 17 Oct. 2021

They didn’t honor the reservation! They just said I was out of luck and sent me away. This was in the middle of the Ida evacuation, and it meant I couldn’t get out for another two days. Awful!!!Reviewed 4 Sep. 2021

Pros:No cars were available at the time of my reservation. I had to wait 2 hours for a vehicle. I was promised the very next vehicle that came in. Of course the very next vehicle was a luxury vehicle, a Jaguar and even though the Jaguar was cleaned and ready, I had to wait another 20 minutes for the Chevy Malibu. I believe that this was 100% calculated and spiteful. The rental clerk, Theresa was super rude and defensive the entire time and I would even say hostile because she raised her voice at me and drove the cars wildly around the lot which can be viewed on camera I’m sure.Cons:Keep a reservation! When people are traveling, time is of the essence and they don’t have 2 hours to wait around foe their car when they have done everything correct. Pros:STAFF WAS FRIENDLY FOR PICK UP BUT THERE THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND AT ALL FOR DROP OFF. JUST A NOTE TO PUT THE KEYS IN A BOX.Cons:A LARGER CAR AND THEY HAD THEM AVAILABLE AND ALMOST $14 A DAY FOR AN EXTRA DRIVER IS AWFUL. Pros:The staff, in Allentown, at Lehigh International, were great. The lady working the counter there was friendly and polite. The staff at Baton Rouge Airport, now that's a different story. The lady working there was full of attitude. Dealing with her, she made you feel like you were inconveniencing her by being there.Cons:When I arrived at Baton Rouge to pick up my rental, they didn't have the vehicle type that my reservation was for. I made my reservation 7 days in advance, only to be told they didn't have any luxury vehicles. I did however get an SUV for the price of what my reservation was.Reviewed 14 Sep. 2020
