Overall experience was fine. The self serve kiosk did not work so we had to wait for employees to open the office to get our vehicle. The employees were helpful. Car was fine, a bit dirty but efficient and met our needs. Drop off was fast and easy. Overall, process went well and we would consider Hertz again.Reviewed 21 Jul. 2024

The contactless pickup was simply a disaster … the code was not given thru email. We were in the rain trying to get our key from the lock box BUT nothing worked. The phone # were not working and we were there in the rain for 60 mins when we finally got thru to someone to help and it was still difficult then … I spent over $30 CAD in calls to get the key Worse experience ever! Almost ruined the start of our vacation … hertz needs to fix this process in Norway because for international renters the process does not work When we dropped of the car the office was open and we told him the issues we had at pickup and he said yea that has happened before and that made me more upset - you knew it does not work and yet you still make your clients go thru this Completely unprofessional! Self checkout took over an hour and a half and involved 5 separate support calls, and 2 on-site staff before we finally had a car. The car we got wasn't what we booked and was smaller than our original booking.Reviewed 10 May 2024

Their kiosk was broken for self check so I had to commute quite far to another location for car, pay for bus tickets with no compensation. Then, when I there to drop off the car, the staff was incredibly rude. I simply asked to use the restroom that was for employees only and they said absolutely not, that I could walk to the nearest gas station 1 mile away.Reviewed 2 Oct. 2023

I tried to request a refund because the location did not exist. I tried many times to find it, had several people (locals) help me, and no one knew where it was. So, I had to use another agency, since I don't think the address listed was correct. I would really love a refund since I was unable to get my car.Reviewed 28 Oct. 2022

Pros:Everyone was very friendly and helpful.Cons:They were unable to give us the size car I had reserved and it was hard to find the drop-off point at Oslo Airport. That may not be Hertz's fault!Reviewed 24 Aug. 2019
