Friendly and efficient service! We needed a car on short notice from a specific location that provided night drop off to avoid being charged for an additional day. Hertz in Chandler accommodated us beautifully. The managers choice car selection definitely worked in our favor. We got a great vehicle at a great price. When i returned the car an hour and a half early the car was not entered until returned until later creating more expense for the rental. They start the rental the moment they enter it in the computer but are very slow to enter the return in the computer. They do all sort of things then enter the return. Went to pick up car and they told me the one I paid for wasn't available so they offered an suv at no extra charge. I explained that I was the only traveler and didn't want to pay more for gas with an suv. She said that that the suv was ready now but if I wanted a car smaller than I paid for then it would be 30 mins to clean. I told them I would wait. I got to the rental place at 11:50 for a noon pick up. I ended up finally getting my keys well after 12:50. I got in the car and it smelled good but was dirty. Some sort of spilled liquid in center console and dust/dirt on dash. To be honest I just wanted to get on my trip so I didn't say anything. Overall was a pretty disappointing expirence.Reviewed 9 Jul. 2022

Pros:The staff seemed overwhelmed with the two staffers which took some time to be attended on site and when i called them up to extend my rental contract through the end of October as I was on hold for almost one hour and my call was also terminated so I called them right back until someone answered my call.Cons:Be honest with the actual time frames, leaving someone unattended and on hold for such a long time is simply not good at all.Reviewed 5 Oct. 2020

Cons:When I called them to confirm my car rental reservation, they said that they have no car available for me. I told them that I had already paid for the car rental for 10 days at the time of online booking. However, it didn't change the outcome. Pros:NothingCons:Poor customer service by the attendant. I prepaid for a car and was a few hours late picking it up on May 24th, 2019. The attendant gave my prepaid car to another customer and had NO cars to rent. I was offered a cargo van to drive from Chandler (Phoenix) Arizona to Las Vegas.Reviewed 30 May 2019

Cons:Manager failed to mention that pre-paid gas wasn't refundable. I TRIED to do a good deed and fill the tank up with gas before returning the vehicle and they STILL charged me an additional $56 for the pre-paid gas!! I got ripped off for an extra $100! Great job!!Reviewed 21 Apr. 2019
