The hertz location didn’t actually have the car I reserved when I got there for my scheduled pick up. I will say the location was extremely busy on the day I picked up, but I did spend 3 hours there before I was given a car. They did end up “upgrading” me to a bigger car, but mostly because I had just been sitting there so long and they still didn’t have the size car I reserved. I like that they gave me an upgrade for free in the end. I could tell they were struggling to keep up with all the problems they were running into that day and they were still nice and kept their cool. I think the communication between hertz and the third party apps needs to be better to ensure the location actually has the cars someone is reserving.Reviewed 7 Dec. 2021

Friendly staff, easy pick up and drop off, but the car was lacking in cleanliness. Windshield was dirty, steering wheel was sticky, it smelled like smoke, it might have been vacuumed, but that was about it. I used a few Clorox wipes and some windex so I can enjoy my trip, but how much nicer it would have been if that was done upon pick up. Don't think that my expectations were extravagant. Cons:Staff at Hertz location in FarmingtonHills were not helpful. she was very unresponsive and was not giving me both cars that I reserved until I proved to her that I have two valid confirmation number for two reserved cars. Although I was there with my friend and ask to include him as the driver of the second car she put me as the driver of both cars and asked for additional money to add my friend as the driver. Although it is clear to every human being that I can't drive two cars at the same time. Finally, they gave me a car with faulty engine and closed the office half an hour sooner than the time that they should close the office so I couldn't show them the problem with the car when I came back to the rental office just about 15 min after picking up the car.Reviewed 26 Aug. 2018

Great place to rent a vehiclePros:Rented my car off the Internet via Kayak Everything went smoothly, my car was ready when I got there and the car agent Destiny was wonderful, she even washed the car for me. sShe was so nice It made the whole rental experience pleasurable. Low tire pressure.Pros:When I picked up the van, I notice that the low tire pressure light was on. The location immediately added air but the light remained on. Since I was going a long trip I asked for another van. The location didn't have one but after calling customer service, they found another van. Although I had to go to another location, switching the van was effortless. The new location quickly changed the paperwork and I was in the new van in 5 minutes.
