Out of the way location, we returned the car after the office was closed and had a really hard time getting a ride back to our cruise ship. Had to walk 10 minutes to a nearby hotel to catch a taxi.Reviewed 4 Sep. 2023

We needed better direction regarding navigation. Hertz offered no maps and provided inadequate guidance on way finding. However, once we returned to the office and asked for help, they provided excellent advice and help. Three different employees provided great service.Reviewed 10 Jul. 2023

When I arrived at the station in Reykjavik domestic airport, there was no one, no message, no way to contact anyone. I will contact Hertz and compain and ask reimbursment. This is very unfair and unprofessional from the whole chain of contacts.Reviewed 28 Jun. 2022

Pros:I liked the pick up at the hotel. The car drove fine.Cons:The quote that I received on Kayak was about $20 less than when I went to pick up the car. I declined any extra insurance. I spoke with Hertz rental and they said the the Iceland office was an independent office and would check with them. They basically said that that was the price and here is your invoice of what you paid. It seems that there is nothing that I can do about this. I work in the airline industry and will not recommend Kayak, unless this is rectified.Reviewed 7 Aug. 2018
