The Price tha Kayak says and the price they give on the spot, it is not the same. How come can I get an 181$ US rate for a week here and on the spot the agent tells me it's 560$ US with insurance. I think I am supposed to be aware of the full price in advance, before getting there on the spot the day of. Where are the hidden fees? Or is the agent trying to rip us out? Something it is not right here, renting a car it is not supposed to be an awful experience, and every time it causes me anxiety cause it is never the right price you negotiated. Took a long time to check in despite filling out all the material beforehand Car was an EV and there was nowhere to charge that wasn't broken or being used Because I couldn't recharge the car, I was charged a ridiculous amount No acknowledgement of the problem when I returned the car - guy just shrugsReviewed 12 Jan 2025

I still had to purchase there collision because they “don’t accept third party insurance”. Staff was not friendly. Supervisor said I. A loud open forum to all, “I know you are frustrated because your flight was canceled but we have all been here since 7am, if you would like to speak to the Supervisor, I am right here and will happily not rent you a car”.Reviewed 12 Jan 2025

I got there and they didn’t want to give me a car. First they wanted me to pay more then $700 usd for car insurance on a $200 usd rental! It is ridiculous. I refuse the insurance so they said my passport card wasn’t going through. I rented a car in Cancun with no issue through another company and the documentation I present was good enough for them, but not for Hertz! I would NEVER book through them again and I would NEVER recommend them!Reviewed 11 Jan 2025

I've had other less pleasant experiences wit Hertz, but this experience was above and beyond. Both the pick up at MIA and drop off at PBI was absolutely amazing. Prices were good, people were amazing, car was great. Thank you for continuing to do good work.Reviewed 11 Jan 2025
