Pros: If you read all the reviews about this hotel on the Internet, your expectations will be pretty high. Yet even so, they will probably be exceeded by the experience. We were accommodated way ahead of our check in time, greeted by name upon arrival and quickly ushered up to our room where fresh apples were waiting for us. Within a minute of arriving we were served tea to go with the apples. An amazing way to be welcomed. The room featured all sorts of unexpected surprises, like a fax/copy machine, an integrated TV above the bath, top of range coffee machine, full set of stationery, two sets of gowns.. coasters that pull out of of the couch, proximity sensitive touchscreens through the room... not enough time to explore all. The heated indoor pool, we must have missed this in the marketing materials: they play beautiful tunes under water! You hear nothing above the water, you have to submerge - and the party starts. You are greeted on arrival, fresh water is brought to you (after your pool slippers of course). We attended the Afternoon Tea. There are plenty of reviews online. They’re all true. Fresh ingredients, delicious preparation, attentive staff, live chamber music, tea served in silverware... long queues of awaiting patrons (booking way in advance is highly recommended). A truly memorable experience.

Pros: Impeccable service, fantastic restaurants and the Christmas decoration is simple, elegant and magical. Enjoyed the live performances with choirs, musicians and the solo singers. Finally, having a photo with the big friendly teddy with my family. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel even made it more special by giving us a complimentary upgrade. It will definitely give us wonderful memories of this beautiful hotel and the people who worked there a big thank you for their service.

Cons: The gym was under renovation but instead we were allow to use the health spa sauna which was amazing! Would like to try out the health Spa but I thought it was out of our price range, maybe, next time the health spa will introduce a taster session for the new guests. The health spa worker was very helpful and made me feel at ease and comfortable. Thank you again. Would like some complimentary health classes and cooking lessons included in the stay.

Pros: We loved our room - the bed was absolutely huge and incredibly comfortable. The location was great (really close to the star ferry) and the staff were extremely accommodating - we were travelling with our 3-month old baby and they made us feel very welcome. I’m gluten-free and was very impressed to see some gluten-free muffins at breakfast!

Pros: We were only in Hong Kong for 24 hours as it was a stopover on the way home. Staff were friendly and attentive and the room was beautiful! Cons: Staff were rude. They couldn't find my reservation. Waited 45 minutes for them to sort out the problem (their reservation system did not like I booked the hotel 3 hours before I arrived). They could have at least offered a drink or snack or something instead of making me stand around waiting for them to sort out the problem.

Me and my husband enjoyed very much our large bedroom which nice empty space between furniture items to walk around, quiet dance and do stretches I your room, very large and comfortable bed, very large bathroom with private room for toilet, double sink, large desks and chairs you can in with your feet like in your childhood, big size thick bath robes, fantastic soaps, lotions and shampoo making hair so fresh and shiny. Last time we stayed there for Lunar New Year. Hotel staff was so nice and welcoming- in fact they sent complimentary new year tea, fruit and chocolates to their guests that day! That morning we were too relaxed to go for buffet breakfast, and ordered fresh baked goods for breakfast to our room. You should definitely try their English scones served with double cream and strawberry jam with breakfast or tea set! Unfortunately, Lunar New year fireworks were cancelled that day, but we found that our room on 51 floor had perfect view on the usual display spot. We felt so welcomed during our stay.

Even a very basic breakfast. Free, functioning internet (which the major hotels chains haven't yet been able to figure out for some reason).
Cons: They do NOT provide some of the things that the traveler has become accustomed to receiving, so be forewarned that you will get shampoo but no conditioner. If you have non Hong Kong/UK electronics, better bring your adapter, because they don't supply them.

Cons: (1) given the handicapped room. The basin was too low for washing (2) The second day after the room cleaning of room 765, 2 women’s underwear were found (3) room 755 had bloodstain on the beige bed underskirt. (4) only one elevator worked as the other one under maintenance- major waits and inconvenience as had to wait a couple of trips due to it being full (5) cockroach in the elevator near the pool (6) the green clean room special only offered $50 hkd on the buffet... nothing else.

So was really disappointed by booking.com... actually i booked a queen room because I thought the booking for that room included. Had I known it wasn’t, I would’ve booked the single room and save a bit of money

If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.

Cons: The rooms are tiny to move around in. Everything cost extra in the room. Even to use the TV cost money. I was afraid to use the outlets since I was afraid to be billed for it later... no free WiFi in the rooms. Overpriced for what I received. First and last time at this hotel. Worth paying a bit more for something which has better features.

Cons: We had a non-refundable booking. When Hong Kong declared a state of emergency due to the corona virus shortly before out trip we decided not to travel to Hong Kong. When we politely asked whether the non-refundable reservation could be cancelled exceptionally it was flatly refused. We were very disappointed about such an inflexibility seemingly bordering greed.

Pros: I actually stayed in the hotel for nearly 3 weeks in all, sandwiched between my trip to Australia, and had stayed in 3 different types of rooms. All were decent sizes, though the single beds were on the small side. Changed to a Double suite for the latter part of my stay, and the room had part sea-view, a separate living area plus a nice sized double bed. The location of the hotel is very convenient for all transport links, especially for the airport, with two airport buses stopping opposite the hotel, taking just over half an hour for the trip. The MTR station is about a 5 minute walk, while the tram and buses are about a minute away.

The HKG airport bus is located diagonally across the street. The MTR station entrance is two blocks away but the walk to the actual MTR train after entering the station is about 9 minutes walk so allow yourself some extra travel time. The Tramway and bus that runs in front will take you to most parts of Hong Kong.

Cons: It seems the room few hardware too old - time to replace, the safety box malfunction 2 times that period I stayed. The front desk manager come to my room attempt using software gadget to unlock the box but it is unsuccessed, it required hotel machinal staff physical to break out the box let me to take back my passport and other belongings. It is very inconvenience and frustrated .

Cons: Room was smaller than I had expected for the deluxe upgrade. Almost no space to store clothes. Room smelled a little smoky, and our check-in process took way too long (more than 20 minutes) to input our data into the system.

Towels are incomplete (no face towels) old (thin to almost worn out), and smelly. Housekeeping staff is making all short cuts, did not make beds for each day of our stay, did not replace floor towel, did not replace or clean cups, no vacuuming, nor cleaning of any of surfaces.
Access to the rooms require going up two sets of elevators. The first set goes from ground level to the 3rd floor lobby and then another elevator to go up the room. There is no apparent stairs to go between the 3rd floor and the ground, it could be dangerous and it is unclear how to exist in case of fire.

Cons: Very uncomfortable beds. We had to change the room due to the hard mattress with springs clearly coming out of it. While staff did try to provide duvets, these were of little help. The room was also small even by Hong Kong standards and there was little or no space to unpack.

Cons: Whoever complains about how small the rooms should not be considered a valid complaint, MINI is in the name of the hotel! Just know that it's perfect for the short stay solo traveler. The only things to note is that maneuvering the shower can be challenging (may have just been specific to my room) and that the bed is very firm. Can hear street noise as with any downtown hotel, but nothing unbearable as long as you're not a light sleeper.

Cons: The hotel seems to have very poor ventilation & severe humidity issues which requires that air-conditioning is kept on most of the time (even when not in room to prevent condensation). Additionally, sound proofing is very poor and you can hear even the softest of conversations, TV/Audio from adjoining rooms.
While room was clean, corridor carpets were stained and dirty. The hotel is also undergoing some kind of repair and upgrade, so I can only hope they get it right soon. Overall, a very uncomfortable two night's sleep.

Cons: Wait a long time for elevators and only one goes to the roof top swimming pool.

Cons: I did not like the size of the room. I also didn't like the shower at all. Very hard to use. We were on the 27th floor and it took about 15 minutes to go downstairs from pressing the call button to being on the ground level. Very inconvenient.

Cons: The harbor view was not what I expected, and the bathroom was quite small & narrow during usage.

Pros: The location was wonderful and so easy to get to. Close to lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, galleries and tourist attractions so able to do lots of walking.
Cons: The hotel was horrendous. The room was tiny, which was not the biggest issue- it was the interior and the cleanliness. It was not clean, which was especially concerning with the coronavirus worry all over Hong Kong. Dirty.
