Amazing location and a hotel with lots of different areas. Very friendly staff.
Hotel let down by very poor maintenance--and this is not a new issue, it seems to be an attitude of "tough, these things happen and we will do nothing to help". That attitude must come from the top and the management should be ashamed. During our stay,: ...the pool was closed for 1.5 days ( a major issue when you have a 4, 2 and 1 year old to entertain during very cold weather). ...the pool had about 4 different attractions (it is a water play area for kids really) which were not working. That is bad enough, but these things were not working when we stayed 5 months before. ...the wifi was "being worked on" for the best part of 1 day so was generally not available ...the restaurant we wanted to use was closed, so we felt obliged (there were a family birthdays during our stay) to use the other "posh" one which is eye waveringly expensive and below the standard of much less expensive places in Banff, Canmore and Calgary.
Beautiful location and very helpful staff
The pillows were great. We arrived early, and were able to check-in mid morning.
Did not like that the thermostat did not go below 18.5, which explained the fan in the closet....
Everything went well. The facility is very welcoming, as is the staff.
The sidewalks to and from the public outdoor parking lot were VERY ICY in places. And as seniors, we all found walking to and from our cars treacherous, Falling was a real possibility. MORE sand and gravel would have made things a lot safer!
Overpriced for the experience
