Hotel Abad Plaza

Good pool on roof, with 6 sunbeds, and reasonable Jacuzzi, although well worn and dated. Had a late flight so made use of this area for a few hours. Also managed to get drinks and snacks served here, but only after returning to my room to order it as there was no other way. Good location with a large shopping mall and metro nearby. Had no hot water one afternoon, but after a call to reception, then housekeeping, it was sorted by a couple of maintenance staff, so quite impressed with the speed. Most of the staff helpful and pleasant. Good food in the little café and bakery next door. Didn't try the hotel restaurant for evening meals.

Rooms large but very stark and basic. No safe in rooms but a limited no, of safety deposit boxes in lobby. No bar in Hotel. One particular member of the reception staff, the only female one, was particularly unhelpful and rude on many occasions. Her attitude was not good. Only hotel we'd encountered this. Area wasn't particularly nice. Breakfast was ok, but egg station often unmanned. Not very efficient service by some of the waiting staff.
