9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly owners. Awesome local restaurant for an absolutely classic Italian local experience. Owner gave us a free bottle of his own very good wine, enjoyed it on a terrace with fabulous views of the hills and distant Alps. Ciglie is a little bit out of the way but that is why the place is so affordable and charming.
Fior Di Farine - La Morra - Building
2
9.5 Excellent (237 reviews)
C$ 170+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Fior di Farine in La Morra, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Belvedere di La Morra and within a 5-minute drive of Sylla Sebaste. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the bed and breakfast nice overall but Lily is what made the place. Her help and enthusiasm was outstanding and the service in general was excellent. It was an older house so very charming and parking was free and right in front of the house so very convenient.
Cons: Our room was very small and the shower leaked. We did come in early one night due to very rainy and foggy conditions and were able to sit in the living room area but it would have been nice to have a sitting area in our room. If the weather hadn't been so foggy which appears to be a bit worse in La Morra than other places, it would have been better but still I thought that the room was awfully small for the price. Other rooms looked much nicer but were pricier. We also had 2 flights of very steep stairs to get to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful bed and breakfast with swimming pool and terrase to wind down. Breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had at an B&B or hotel and the staff was really wonderful! Also very nice to visit the mill and see how they work with artisanal methods to make high quality flour:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was amazingly friendly and helpful. The fully home made breakfast is most probably the best I ever had in this Region!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful spacious and air conditioned! The little pool worked great for a refreshing dip and the location was central, walkable distance to restaurants, gorgeous views, and more! Also the house made breakfast was devine.

Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcoming personnel. Great homemade breakfast with good caffe. Air conditioning in all rooms and good wifi. Nice and clean everywhere. The appartment was in particular great for family of four. Great recommondations to resturants and activities by the personnel. Small but very clean and cosy outdoor area with swimmingpool. Car parking in shaded area.
Cons: One of the rooms we had was a bit noisy related to trafic in/out of nearby rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Very nice staff, very clean, confortable, wonderful breakfast (all homemade, even the bread!) and a very nice terrace with swimming pool. It is perfect, if you want to stay in the village of La Morra for enjoying the nice Restaurants in the center (walking distance). Even the wine yards are just around the corner, but it is not on the countryside outside of any urbanization. La Morra is a very special village and close of other villages with wonderful restaurants. B&B Fior di Farine is absolutely recomendable for all lover of very nice restored old italian houses.
Cons: For a culinary trip B&B Fior di Farine is perfect. Specially for couples and group of friends. It is acceptable for family with children, but for them there might be other better options with large gardens and greater distance to busy roads.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The hotel is located in the center of the town, La Morra. From one hand you are not in the middle of wine yards , on the other hand, wide choice and quality of their wines, plus high-end atmosphere of the hotel makes a perfect combination of the Barolo region retreat. We were given a detailed tour to their wine production and tasted a good number of wines (included in package). As hotel guests we also got 10$ off for the wine shop. The wine itself provides great value for money. Highly recommended.
Cons: Wine yards are located in a distance from the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family of four spent a fabulous week there in early October and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The family who own and run it, and their staff, were friendly, warm and helpful. They were very busy but always made time to check on us and have a chat. The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed a shared balcony overlooking the valley, which was wonderful to relax on after a day exploring. Their restaurant is amazing! Be sure and book your table because it fills up, and for good reason. We ate several dinners there and each meal was delicious, including the wines. The breakfasts were varied and always had an assortment of homemade pastries, meats, cheese and vegetables. Novello is a quiet town and a wonderful location for touring the area. All this resulted in one of the best weeks we've had. Thank you for being such gracious hosts.
Cons: Nothing. We were never in want of anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is situated in what looks like a fairytale town! If you want a quiet beautiful Italian town then look no further than here in Novello. I came from Milan took four trains to get to Bra station then caught a taxi (turned out to be an Audi) which was €30 to get here and then I was kindly dropped back to the station by the staff. The man does not speak english but we communicated okay with hand signals and google translate. The breakfast is a good spread, the beds are big and the view is stunning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: comfy bed, friendly staff, clean
Cons: room was under the surface, rather dark
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with balcony. Comfortable bed. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Small esky with beer and wine available for purchase via honesty box. Exceptional position. This is our second stay and we would still return. Also great on site restaurant with local delicacies.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had planned to have dinner in the village of Barolo, but as we had a long day, we chose to dine in the hotel. I'm glad we did because the food was fantastic. This hotel is a great little gem in the heart of Novello.
Cons: There was nothing really bad about this hotel. The breakfast good and was comparable to that you'd normally find in most European hotels. Personally, I prefer a hot buffet style breakfast, but you normally don't find that in small European hotels. That said, the breakfast was still nice and had a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, etc.

Pros: Fantastic location, with a lovely 25 min walk through the vineyards to get to Barolo. Breakfast was superb and the room was large and the bed was so comfortable we took the make of the mattress to buy one for home. The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for you. Cons: Not a lot to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I have been twice already and I love the place, the location and view over the Piedmont! The owners are lovely and I definitely will return!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best meals we had our entire trip and very affordable. Views from every spot on the property were beautiful. Pool was a good size and the loungers were really comfortable. All the staff went over and above to make the stay great. Appreciated they helped us book a smaller winery one day when we didn’t have plans. The vertical wine tasting with Roberto was the best we have ever done. Well worth the money and the cellar and tasting room are so nice.
Cons: In our room the bed was really creaky every time one of us moved and the A/C was so loud when on high. Restaurant could use some work as the lights were really bright and there wasn’t much ambience. At the pool there appeared to be a wasp problem and way too many pigeons. Overall still a really great stay though!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly superior hotel, a nice level of luxury without any snobby attitude. The staff were great with our small kids, nice touches in the rooms (IPod with decent music, flip flops etc)
Cons: Slightly better black out curtains on the floor to ceiling windows for longer lie-ins, would have been good to have a coffee machine in the room or available for guests at reception. And the dry cleaning service shrunk my dress !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We love everything about this hotel, we have stayed twice now and love the style, facilities, staff and most of all the view!

Pros: The very spacious rooms.
Cons: There wasn’t anything I did not like

Pros: We had big room and swimming pool was nice.
Cons: The restaurant was a real disappointment. Food was not bad but it was not good either. Too experimental. The biggest disappointment was that we ordered a bottle of really good wine but after main dishes my glass was empty for 20 minutes even the bottle was still 40% full. During that time I even emptied my water glass. Also the view from the restaurant was blocked by terrasse furniture.

Pros: Everything was great: service, super cozy duvet, warm room, big, quiet.
Cons: The only thing I would say is when entering the hallway, it smelled like stale smoke. They should ensure that no one smokes inside the other rooms bc it is off-putting. I didn’t, however, smell it once I entered my room.

Pros: We loved staying at the Cascina Sant'Eufemia. The room was really nice and spotless clean. The common areas are very cosy and smartly dispatched in a beautiful farm, with pieces of art and great products from the farm you will want to take home with you. The family is truly warm and very helpful. We hope to be back soon!

Pros: Fantastic stay. Beautiful surroundings, great food and amazing hospitality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If we could give Cascina Sant'Eufemia 10 stars, we would! The hosts, Chiara and Paulo, are wonderful and gave us great suggestions; it is well located for exploring the Langhe area; and the breakfasts highlighted local ingredients. Its simple, unpretentious, rural character was just what we were looking for.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay. Friendly, helpful owners, beautiful farm, really good wine tasting! We highly recommend staying here. Our only discomfort was it was quite hot and there was no air conditioning. It was on a farm in a remote village so we didn’t expect air conditioning but we just happened to stay during a very hot spell. One of our favorite places in Italy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very picturesque location and wonderful hosts! We loved our time there and hope to be back someday. We were there right at the time when the hazelnuts are harvested and were amazed to see a room almost knee-deep full of hazelnuts :)

Cons: The only problem with this lovely B&B is that the shower is so small. This is really a shame as the bedroom is enormous and the area allocated to the bathroom itself is also big. The shower enclosure however is just too small to be comfortable

Pros: A really great place! The hosts are very nice and helpful! The area is astonishing, great views and of course the food and wine is excellent. A very nice area to explore. Wonderful cities/villages are very near and also Torino is close enough to spend a nice day out there (great city)! Il Grappholo is a very nice place to explore one of the most exciting wine area's in the world!
Cons: Nothing, maybe the pillows (but this is of course very "individually" and sensitive) could have been a little more "solid" (but of course Dutch people always complain about something....).
