Not terrible for the price. great location to tube, bus, and trains.

Beds were terribly hard and not enough hot water for bathing.

It is located right next to the Paddington station, so it was easy to get to even though my plane arrived in London at 11 pm. The room was clean and the bathroom was mostly adequate.

The hallways were very narrow and shabby, I mean really shabby with peeling wallpaper, and dings and dirt. The mattresses were uncomfortable, the toilet wouldn't flush unless you pumped the handle as if on a waterwell. The window did not lock. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the noises from the other rooms and the hallway. The elevator was slow and the stairs narrow and awkward. I chose it because everything else was extremely expensive and I would stay there again if I have to. If you prefer more comfortable accommodations, this is not a hotel for you though.

The facilities of this hotel are very good and the location is excellent. The rooms a decent size and clean.

The staff were less than enthusiastic.

window would not stay open, as it was quite warm in the room, i found that the fan supplied in the room did not help as I prefer fresh air to come in via the window, i understand that there is a safety issue and windows cannot be opened too widely but there should be a way of having it open even a few inches to allow fresh air to come into the room
