10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top location for concerts in Grana Padano Arena. Nice staff at the reception and the bar. Comfy bed. Free parking.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was good, I really like the room and the facilities. Big tv, nicely decorated. Exceptional continental breakfast with a lot of variety including ham, bacon, salami, cheeses, vegetables, cakes, sweets, and fruits. Too bad that the coffee and the fruit juice was horrible. The location is right next to the highway, with around 15 minutes drive until the center of the city of Mantova.
Cons: Unfortunately, the coffee in the breakfast was a big joke ( horrible instant coffee). It's a shame that they didn't put a decent coffee machine, since Italy is also famous about having one of the greatest coffees. Also the fresh juices were tasteless.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was easy to reach. The room was a little bit small but clean and well organized. The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was diversified.
Cons: For accessing the Internet you need to log in with one of your accounts (Google, Facebook etc) which is not ok upon my opinion. The Internet access for the guests must be 100% free and non-intrusive. For this reason I used my mobile data and this was very poor due to the local mobile operator.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel. Nice size rooms
Cons: Bath tub/ shower was dangerously slippery

Pros: It’s nearness to the main train station!
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is quite good, near to all the main monuments of the town and next to the town center. The structure’s services are good as well, even if we didn’t try the breakfast; parking is somewhat expensive, but comes very handy in that area.
Cons: The location, while central and good for a visit to the town center, is not that beautiful, since it is in front of the train station and in a not so pleasant area of Mantova.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location across the street from the railway station was excellent. I had a good night's sleep in my room. Room was basic and clean.

Pros: Very clean and neat place uniting modernity to the classical style of the city. Comfortable bed providing quality sleep.
Cons: Parking lot is a bit small but that’s quite a characteristic of old towns.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and updated. Location was not in the center but was an easy walk to the center.
Cons: The room was crowded and not very comfortable. In addition , there was street noise , noise from the houses next door and in the alleyway. We also had noise from the room above us. I also found the people at the front desk lacking in warmth .

Overview Reviews
A stay at Albergo Bianchi Stazione places you in the heart of Mantua, within a 15-minute walk of d'Arco Palace Museum and Piazza Mantegna. Featured amenities include express check-in and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Albergo Bianchi Stazione was very convenient for arriving in Mantua with a car. We were able to find temporary parking outside the station which is across the road from the hotel, and go to the hotel where the friendly receptionist explained how to enter the carpark and opened the door for us. The hotel is old style with character, but comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely, quiet room at the back of the hotel, as requested. It was an easy walk to the historic centre. Breakfast was good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and excellent location.
6.7 Good
Pros: I've spent two nights in this hotel which is located in an excellent position (just across the train station and very close to the historic center). My room, n.138, was spacious with a double bed, it has a huge window (with shutters which made the room dark enough to have a good sleep) and even the bathroom was very spacious. AC was working properly making the room cool (anyway, it was and old AC system and I found annoying not having a remoter to switch it on and off during night - to do that you were oblidge to get up from the bed and reach the wall near the entrance). Overall I had a good sleep and the room was clean
Cons: The old furniture and a not focused "attention for details", have you the feeling to stay in a "not well kept" structure (ie. the showers was clean but the old shower-head full of limestone gave you a bad feeling). Be advice not to keep food in this room as the window faces the backyard and during the first night small ants visited my trolley - where some perfectly sealed sandwiches were kept (in the morning the cleaner solved immediatly the issue and the day after I didn't have any problems). Breakfast was quite basic, juice not so fresh, but jams and chocolate spread were really good - even the breakfast and the shabby atmosphere could be improved. Price per night was too much in my opinion (even during high season) for a structure that is closer to a two stars hotel then to a three stars one.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful staff. Very convenient location next to station but quiet rooms .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Directly across from the train station but very quiet. Room was very comfortable and bathroom looked like it had recently been rennovated. Close to old town and a lovely walk to main activities. Many bars and restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff!
Cons: A bit more to choose from on the breakfast table. Cheese, egg.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location is great especially when traveling by train, a cozy hotel
Cons: there is nothing special that I did not like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Cleanliness.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean The inside is better than the outside
Cons: Parking very narrow in spite of the hotel's advice A little bit noisy (noise of the street, the trucks) Poor quality of the wifi TV very small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was of good quality, with a wide selection and plenty of food. Coffee was freshly made to order, and as much as one wanted. Reception was friendly, polite and efficient, and excellent English was spoken. Room was quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Across the city central station, non too muco far from the city center with best maintained rooms !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Better hotel than I expected seeing the photos. The room was really ok and even if I booked a single, I got a double for two nights (more space!). I was arriving by train, so the location was perfect as it is exactly opposite the station. The centre and Palazzo Te are around a 15/20 minute walk from there (each in opposite directions). It's not a complicated walk and it's a beautiful one as well. The price was also more affordable than right in the historic area. On arrival there were two women on the reception desk. The older one was serious and not very welcoming, but the younger was very nice and took me to my room. Good thing because it wasn't easy to find. I was in the 1st floor and had to go across a patio (with tables where you could sit and next to another parking patio) and then go up on the lift and through a corridor with a few steps. Like I said, the room is basic, but has everything you can need: big bed (as I got a double), safe, small fridge (with water bottles, but wasn't sure if those were included), TV, air conditioned, telephone, a chair, a desk, a big mirror, hangers and a drawer (but not a real wardrobe) and plugs nearby the bed. The toilet was small but had what I needed: a shower cabinet (nice hot water), toiletries, soft towels, loo, basin, a stool, hair dryer and tissues. Everything clean and no problem at all with anything. My room was quiet, the bed was comfy, so had some good hours of sleep. Also, the receptionist saved my suitcase on the last day (although they save the suitcases right at the reception and you get no receipt for it. I just came back and took it, so felt a bit unsafe). So in general, a nice hotel for a good price and great location. I certainly wou
Cons: On the negatives, not many. Mainly that I couldn't make the wi-fi work. Also that there was a thick curtain and blind, but still there was light in the room. Thankfully I travel with a mask, so it wasn't a real problem. Also the mentioned lack of receipt when you leave the luggage on storage. I didn't try the breakfast, so can't give an opinion.

7.9 Good
Pros: For the price you pay it was a good stay!
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice big room with everything you need including small kitchenette if you wanted to prepare any food. Plenty of free parking. Great having facility to make hot drinks. Greeted by friendly and helpful host who allowed us to check in earlier than arranged which was fantastic as it was an extremely hot day. Clean and relatively close to city centre.
Cons: Decent walk into city centre so if you’re not a good walker probably not the place for you. Would have liked to have some instant coffee as part of coffee and tea facility.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were great and it was an excellent value for the money. It's a mini apartment with the kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher. The staff was also very nice, especially the girl from Moldova.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly
7.9 Good
Pros: The appartment was in a quiet area in Mantova and close to restaurants and the supermarket. The cooking facilities were excellent and the room was large and well appointed . Parking was also at hand which made our stay here a pleasant experience. There is much to do in the area and we would happily stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place to stay with all necessary things in the room! A room is very well equipped so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Small kitchen and a supermarket in 5 minutes walking will help you to cook your meal, the washing machine will clean your clothes and the staff is always ready to help and answer you questions - special thanks to Iliana! (forgive me in case of misspelling your name...). the city center is in 30 minutes walking and you can get it via pedestrian path along the road or via nice park on the lake shore (when meet a rabbit don't go to the rabbit hole if you are not Alice :) ). This very place is very quiet, you won't find a lot of cafes around but it's nice to have a rest after the long day of sightseeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: @All things are ok and comfortable @there are 2 staffs have warmhearted to their costumers and more. #Elina and her supervisor #Leonardo thank you for them.
Cons: Nothing to say.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room I stayed had an issue with the hot water but after talking to the manager he gave an even better room without hesitation at no extra cost. Very friendly and thoughtful.
Cons: The lift seemed to not stop on ground floor. Would be great if the staff could know a little English, just to make the check-in - out easy

Cons: Air con terrible and it was very hot that day
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff very friendly. The room was "a little tired" but was fine for one night. Breakfast was okay but nothing remarkable.
Cons: The room needed renovation and the mattress was uncomfortable (too hard in my opinion).
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location!
Cons: This hotel, although very clean, did not rate a four star. The room was tired and needs a remodel as does the bathroom. The walls are thin and so you hear the elevator and your neighbours. Not worth the price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: + Good location, close to the historical center and all facilities. + Great staff + Very well maintained, room was always clean and well kept.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Onsite parking convenient. Breakfast food excellent. Front desk staff very helpful and courteous.

Pros: This privately run hotel is conveniently located mid-way between the Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Te, less than 10 minutes from the Piazza del-Erbe, a tourist focal point with lots of bars and restaurants, and only 15 minutes' walk from the railway station. The breakfast was generous and included fresh fruit.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very impressed by the cleanness of the place. Every day cleaning of room and other facilities up to high standard. Exceptional.
Cons: Room for 2 should offer 2 chairs, not just 1. Just plastic beakers available at the room to enjoy late vino, glases would be appreciated.
7.9 Good
Pros: The welcome and the location, proximity to the centre of Mantova.
Cons: Our room was minimalist : no fridge, no tea-making facility. The TV had no English-speaking channels. Hardly a three-star category hotel, but minimally adequate.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for the places we visited. Will certainly stay there if I return to Mantua.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. I could walk to town following the lake , or get the bus.
Cons: The accomodation was perfect with a coffee machine at the corridor. However, if the was a kitchen to make coffee and have a snack , it could be perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the facilities there, the TV, bathroom, the fridge and etc.
Cons: What I didn't like was that, my bedsheets was not changed the three nights. And also the opening hours of the reception is not all that favorable.

7.1 Good
Pros: Nice and hard working people own & run this place. Good value for the money and location.
Cons: Tired, cramped, noisy over bakery.
6.3 Good
Pros: The lady on reception is lovely, greets you politely. Location was great
Cons: The hotel could do with a good manicure, it's old fashioned but then that has it's own unique charm. Breakfast was just average
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and helpful
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and very easy to get to with a grocery right next door... The staff are quirky but really nice... it is a family run experience. The room was really odd, but liveable... (with a little room for EACH part of the bathroom... but hey, it all worked).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Italia is an easy walk from the station, maybe 10 minutes or so. The location is excellent, the staff are very helpful, kind, and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and the AC worked well for those hot afternoons. Breakfast was a bit better than expected, but the staff was really the big plus as they were very personable and responsive to my needs. Monica and Lucia both were very professional while also kind.
Cons: The baths need maybe some rethinking. They are a bit dated, but not an issue for me. For other travelers, having a shower share the same tiles as the rest of the bath may pt them off. But it is designed so that the shower water is contained. Just an oddity nowadays. Not a a big issue unless you are picky.
Ca' Delle Erbe Residenza - Mantua - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Residenza Ca' delle Erbe - Bed & Breakfast in Mantua (Old Town), you'll be steps from Piazza Mantegna and 3 minutes by foot from Piazza Sordello. Featured amenities include express check-in and luggage storage.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Stylish, scrupulously clean and comfortable room in the heart of Mantova's old town. The room was extremely spacious and located in a historic building. Be aware that this is not a conventional hotel with reception desk. However, we found the check-in process (at a restaurant just across the square from the room) very convenient and the staff extremely helpful - we were able to leave our luggage on our day of departure. Very nice breakfast served every day at the same restaurant.
Cons: The rooms are in the very centre of town and ours faced on to the main square so there was a little noise on Friday and Saturday nights - for us this wasn't a problem but if you need absolute silence to sleep, consider booking somewhere less central, or ask for a room that doesn't face the main square.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated with such style. Comfortable, clean and great location. Will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom and bathroom comfortable
Cons: During the night a little cockroach in the bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location, Perfect bathroom, Perfect vibe
Cons: Bed a little firm but I am trying to give a honest review. Would definitely go back without question.
10.0 Excellent

4.6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Extremely tiny room Very noisy
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location, couzyness
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: excellent location in the centre of the town, connection with the very good restaurant across the road and the 15% discount on meals there.
Cons: the clock in the square chiming on every hour through the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We like hotels in old/ historic buildings but with modern comfort. Here this was exceptionally well done. We have never had such a spacious room in any hotel. Its situation right in the center of the old town is amazing. It is in a restricted pedestrian area ie. the next parking lot is about a 10 minutes walk away.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was great
Cons: Bed very uncomfortable and hard Poor sound insulation, could hear next door’s loo being used. Not nice. Washbasin cracked
6.7 Good
Pros: Central breakfast was pk given a veryb
Cons: Given a bad room with window opening onto lift shaft changed us to an annex 50 yards away
7.0 Good
Pros: great location, great restaurant, great breakfast
Cons: One small complaint, although WiFi is strong and consistent throughout the hotel, for some reason, management have elected to “block” , censor” or otherwise make unavailable any, and all, legitimate internet sites which contain “ adult” content. Not only have they taken this unilateral decision without any pre information, but they have failed to grant facility for guests who wish to opt out of this didactic and regressive policy, the next logical step is this process is to require prospective guests couples to prove they are official married before allowing them to occupy a room. This kind of control freakery is quite unnecessary in todays modern world, I will certainly not be staying in this hotel during any future visit
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location cannot be beaten . My only regret was our time was too short
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location. We were initially given a room which made us feel slightly claustrophobic - but the hotel staff kindly relocated us to a brighter, more airy room
Cons: We liked everything - access and parking is a little bit complicated - but this is because of the excellent location right in the town centre....
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were lovely, clean and tidy. Receptionist was welcoming and polite. Best of all location was very central and just 15 mins away from train station
Cons: Apart from walls being paper thin, also room was directly above hotel bar. Open to general public so could hear everything from chairs being moved, crowds singing happy birthday and also people outside having a drink and smoke. Kept me up all night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: There is no more central location in town. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, accommodating my slightly earlier arrival with great kindness. All interactions were professional and forthcoming. I won't need to think twice about where I'll stay upon returning to Mantua. Grazie e complimenti!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location (just on the corner of Piazza Sordello, the historic main square). Great breakfast with wide choice. Customer-friendly personnel. We had an airy, clean room with square view (no blackout curtains, use the outer shutters for perfect darkness and noise reduction at night!) If by car, drive directly to the hotel, use the reserved place for unloading/loading only - opposite in front of it, ask receptionist for proof-card of hotel stay (because of ZTL, limited traffic zone) and find a public parking place nearby, marked blue.
Cons: Not easy to find it. Nearby parking is just a question of good luck (don't give up even after 500 meters!) The ground floor of the hotel was always a bit crowded (though reception, lobby, restaurant and coffee bar are somehow separated but still in the same airspace - as very typical at this category of hotels in Italy).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building with amazing history, the common space big and very cozy, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Best thing though are Claudio and Luciana, son and mother managing the place: they make you feel welcome, tell a lot of stories about the city and the Arrivabene palace and give the best tips for places to visit in town. Don’t miss the homemade “meringhe” for breakfast in the room that makes you come back in time. Best place to stay ever!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I felt privileged to spend 3 nights in this beautiful 16th century palazzo. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner Claudio and his lovely mother Luciana, who live in the property. Everything was perfect, large room with very comfortable bed, great shower and the pleasure of breakfast in a beautiful 16th century dining room, plus the pleasure of conversations and recipes with Luciana at breakfast. Palazzo Arrivebene is in the centre of historical Mantova and within easy walking distance of everything. Mantova itself is full of interesting places, restaurants and architecture. We were given helpful additional information about Mantova’s history of places to visit from our hosts I loved Palazzo Arrivebene and Mantova, and would totally choose to return. A beautiful place to stay.
Cons: Nothing to dislike everything was perfect

Pros: Beautiful Palazzo, restored with care and elegantly furnished. The proprietor is a gracious host.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We never thought we would ever stay in a real Palazzo! Furnished with antiques and charming details, although the chairs and sofa in our room could have used new padding. Excellent breakfast with a great selection of options. Easy walk from the train station and to the sights.
Cons: It was a bit confusing upon arrival -- the two buzzers at the door had peoples' names and we weren't sure if they were private residences. We hoped we weren't disturbing anyone and just pressed them both in turn. The second button seemed to be the right one. :)

Pros: The room was spacious, comfortable and elegant. Our hosts were charming and gracious and very helpful.
Cons: Everything was excellent.

Pros: Comfortable and very clean, this studio style accommodation is ideal for a couple seeking a quiet but very central location. Cristina is an excellent host, proactively communicating before we arrived to provide directions and then giving a comprehensive induction to the property and to Mantova more generally.
Cons: The breakfast provided by two nearby cafes, depending on the day of the week, is very limited.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location could not be better - right at the heart of charming Mantova old town. The guest rooms are in a charming historical building, and have a very special historical feeling to them. Everything is very tastefully decorated, with good quality furniture and textiles. The host is very welcoming and the restaurant recommendations were superb. There is also a lovely terrace to sit outside. Truly wonderful stay in Mantova!

Pros: The location was excellent. The host was more than excellent. For my departure to the train station she couldn't get me a cab. So she drove me herself. That is service beyond what one expects.
