The suite was huge.
This is not a 4 stairs hotel. The maintenance is very bad ((Broken doors, clogged sinks, slippery shower, etc.), safety is very poor (anyone can access to your room at any time with no safety lock, no door eye), the location is the worst (many bars and discotheques are contiguous to the hotel. Impossible to sleep). In addition they request full payment at the time of arrival. If you want to move to other hotel they doesn't reimburse any penny. In addition the employees see in you a good source of money recommending people from outside for tours, etc. charging double or more for them.
The locations was prime in the middle of a busy nightlife. The hotel its self was fantastic. It was HUGE living space provided. Nice location, great staff and delicious breakfast. Was able to sit in the patio and enjoy the weather and people watch.
The Bed was HARD as a rock. This made it very "hard" to sleep, no pun intended. Some people like that, but i dont, so avoid jumping in the bed.
Large, comfortable one bedroom apartment, with kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, cutlery), dining area, living room. Great balcony overlooking street. Lively street scene until 5 am, but totally quiet in bedroom. Bed was firmer than at home, but comfortable to me. Excellent, helpful staff who spoke English. Centrally located in Zona Rosa, the gay area. Very easy to get an Uber. Hot breakfast (limited menu) in adjacent restaurant with table service. We would definitely stay here again. A short walk to Insurgentes subway station, Paseo de la Reforma, and Metrobus stops.
Nearby restaurants acceptable, but mediocre. Better to dine elsewhere. No walkable grocery stores, just convenience stores like 7-11 and Circle K. You can take an Uber (40 pesos, US$2) to the Sumesa supermarket on the other side of Insurgentes, which has everything, including an excellent cheese and charcuterie selection (including jamon serrano).
Huge suite with kitchen, dining area, living room, and balcony. Great location! Very clean and a safe was provided in the bedroom. Great value for your money as well!
Rooms facing Calle Amberes will hear the noise during evenings from busy street below, lined with bars & nightclubs, but the noise is bearable with closed windows and balcony doors.
