Good location and accommodating, friendly staff. Also complimentary coffee and muffins in the morning is very nice.
The heat does not come on until the outdoor temperature goes below 50!! With waning daylight, there is not much heat that gets to the rooms. So our room was cool, but with the blankets we were ok while sleeping. Interestingly, the lobby and hallways were warm. Lots of street noise on the second floor, so it's not the most restful sleep.
love the hotel.
love the location, very convienient to everywhere. the hotel is clean and very quiet. we booked for two twin beds and requested for the high floor, we got the room on12th floor and our room is larger than most of other hotels would get you. the havd us checked in as soon as we arrived which was at 10 am.very happy about the hotel.
i dont wanna say this but the old black male receptionist was pretty rude. once I arrived, greeting and told him that we would like to check in, pass him my reservation paper, he said he doesnt need to see it. so i passd him my id. he siad he dosnt need my id,j ust spell it out for him. he couldnt find my name so he askd me to spell it out for him. he found it, now he asked for my ID and credit card. his tone was dried and eyes was up and down all the time. was very enoying.
The hotel was beautiful and the location was unbelievable! You can walk everywhere! There is a super convenient garage across the street. We rented 2 rooms and they put us on the same floor one across the hall from the other. It was great and we will go back!!!
The location is pretty good.
Every single employee I met at the reception was way to unfriendly and unprofessional. The room was pretty small and basic. It's ok for a short stay.
Conveniently situated, tasty muffin and coffee/tea supplied for breakfast, interesting history and fascinating decor.
Our room was at the back of the hotel - well someone has to be there - but not a nice outlook at all, but as we were out most of the time wasn't too much of a problem.
The location is just two blocks from Macy's and excellent value for money.
It was very basic but near everything
Staff were not very efficient and helpful. The room was basic. Shower didnt work well, it was either too hot or too cold. I wouldnt stay in it again, the lighting was poor. It wasnt very clean
Recepcionists were friendly and we were able to get an early check in. Very helpful after a 10h flight. Muffins were ok for breakfast. Wi-fi internet had a good signal strengh in the room, but it was paid.
We had problems with cold/hot water. We had to pay for Wi-fi internet and we had the impression it was free when we read the hotel specifications online.
The hotel was very clean, the location was excellent
room at the front way too noisey
The location, is excellent. The lobby tells an old story, and is inspiring. The room was fine but disappointing view from the window.
Strange that there is no little, restaurant or bar in a hotell with old history, would be nice in the evening after a day on the streets of Manhattan.
Location was perfect. It takes 10 min by walk to the Time Square.Yer muhteşemdi Time Meydanına 10 dakıka yuruyerek. Ancak eski bir oteldi. Eskiliği sorun değil diyorsanız kalabilirsiniz.
Staff was awful and so rude. Çalışanlar çok kabaydı.
Being close to Times Square and to shopping. Also the lobby and the breakfast in the morning.
The heating system was steam and our radiator was banging off and on during our first night. We were offered a different room the 2nd day and there was no banging in the radiator in that room. Needless to say we did jnhot sleep well the first night.
Good Value for NYC. Very Clean. Great location for the activities we had planned. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
Hotel was very centrally located and nice service. Rooms were quiet for NY city and enjoyed the courtesy coffee in the lobby.
No bar and the hotel was pricey for size of the room and comparable hotels in that area.
