Cons: There was a big cobweb over one of the beds, And used soap on the top of the shower. The fridge was turned way up and we didn't notice what it was set on. It felt cold so we thought it was all good to use. It froze most of our food.

Cons: My husband and I reserved a room for handicapped and while we were at the park and came back the parking spaces were taken by people that weren't even staying there, so had to park at the other end of the lot. My husband cannot walk very far or steady so made it difficult. I know it isn't the motel peoples fault but should be some kind of sign for visitors to not park in front of rooms especially the handicapped ones.

Cons: Door to balcony wouldn’t shut properly so you could hear traffic all night. Light on balcony could not be turned off so it lit the whole room up all night. Poor cleaning of room and bathroom. Only one elevator for the whole entire hotel. Made for a very long wait when trying to bring luggage in or take out. Could not recommend this property to others. Could be a nice place with some work.

Cons: The room was a non-smoking room but smelled of smoke. There was a switch for a fan in the bathroom but it didn't work. The toilet flushed REALLY slowly and eventually got clogged. Unfortunately, there was no plunger in the room and this happened after 10pm, which is when the front desk person leaves, so we had a non-functioning toilet until after 8am the next day. So, don't try to check-in after 10pm or have any issues because there's nobody there. I get this is a small motel, but I've never stayed somewhere that didn't have a person onsite 24hrs for issues, etc. Parking was also very limited, if it's busy like when I stayed there, there didn't seem to be enough spaces for all guests...

Pros: The 11 am checkout is later than I am used to, and I am so grateful! I didn't spend the morning groggily running around trying to make sure I had everything ready to go before I was even awake. The staff was friendly, even though they did seem to be gossiping a bit about other customers. The pool stays open until midnight which is a great bonus! The parking is close by and the rooms are within reach of all amenities (with a kitchenette to boot!) which makes me want to come back for longer than a weekend get away. They aren't a luxury hotel, with just the basic beds and bathrooms, but they have everything you would need or want for a family at a good price.

Cons: The minifridge had food in in from previous guests, which was a sign that maybe the cleaning services could be improved. Other than that, we did not notice any problems with the room. The staff did not mention that there were dishes in the cabinet, which would have been nice to know. We don't poke around a lot if we're just staying over the weekend-no need to unpack. Also, the staff were gossiping about other guests, which made me nervous to say anything personal nearby and I was sure to close my curtains and be quick on entering and exiting. I know it is a small southern town vibe, but I feel like if you are going to gossip about other customers, you should at least wait until one you are serving is out of sight, the room, earshot, what have you.

Pros: We liked the location because it is the very last hotel before you head into the National Park's divided highway going toward Gatlinburg. There is a Marathon gas station right next door as well. The desk clerk at check-in was just as nice as can be and the maintenance man that we met was also wonderful. The room was very clean except for a used band-aid under one bed and a small piece of candy stuck to the floor near the bathroom sink. The room was very clean though so don't let me ruin that part for you. The beds were great. there was a 40" flat screen with many channels including 2 HBO's. There's a small safe, microwave and mini-fridge. The a/c was ICE cold and not too noisy like some can be. The parking lot was newly paved and very nice. The hotel was booked full but parking was never an issue. We didn't use it but there is a very nice pool.

Pros: We liked the location because it is the very last hotel before you head into the National Park's divided highway going toward Gatlinburg. There is a Marathon gas station right next door as well. The desk clerk at check-in was just as nice as can be and the maintenance man that we met was also wonderful. The room was very clean except for a used band-aid under one bed and a small piece of candy stuck to the floor near the bathroom sink. The room was very clean though so don't let me ruin that part for you. The beds were great. there was a 40" flat screen with many channels including 2 HBO's. There's a small safe, microwave and mini-fridge. The a/c was ICE cold and not too noisy like some can be. The parking lot was newly paved and very nice. The hotel was booked full but parking was never an issue. We didn't use it but there is a very nice pool.
Cons: The free breakfast is limited to pancakes, syrup, and butter. A cup of coffee is $3.00 and there is a charge for any and all other beverages except water. If you desire something other than pancakes, you can use your breakfast voucher for $3.00 off. We were there for four days and I didn't want pancakes every day. When we checked in I was surprised to learn that my 17lb dog was welcome as they stated but that there was a $40.00 non-refundable cleaning fee. They also take a $75.00 pet deposit that is refunded once they determine that no damage was done by the pet. I'm not interested in a timeshare property so this next part I didn't like. Once checked in you are sent over to another lady at a desk for your parking pass. Well, she also immediately tried to sell me on a 90-minute presentation at a second property in exchange for either $125 in cash or two tickets to one of the dinner shows in town. I had just driven eight hours and didn't want to hear that. She was very nice but I would rather go to them if I am interested. This is a pet-friendly hotel but there are only two very small places to walk your pup.

Cons: since we had a non window room, you would've thought a little more thought would have gone into the furnishings and arrangement of furnishings. The lighting was terrible, and it's a good thing there was a clear plastic strip on the shower curtain or you wouldn't have been able to see anything. Since the TV was permanent where it was, you couldn't lay in bed and watch it comfortably (which was our last choice anyway) but we both have back trouble and the only two chairs to sit in was terrible for comfort. No, you don't rent a room to sit in and watch tv all day, but you would like to have a comfortable chair to sit in. Both floor lamps did not work. One had no bulb and a defective switch (I tried the bulb from the other lamp) and the other was scary enough in the switch department to justify not plugging it in. The bed was comfortable, pillows not so much. It was a not so comfortable and inviting room and did not seem to come close to pictures of rooms on the web site.

We tried to call twice to follow up that we were still coming, just were running a tad behind due to the drive. No answer. Upon arrival the worker was asleep. (I have picture proof if management wants them) Tried ringing the doorbell, knocking on the glass, etc. She finally awoke ~15 minutes later to let us in and was extremely rude about the situation. This place sucks

Cons: Both the beds were horrible. Both my husband and I have had multiple surgeries and the mattresses were thin and lumpy. My bed felt like I was going to fall out I guess where the mattress was worn on the edge and felt like I was sleeping on a bord. We have never had a bad experience there before. My kids are entertainers and are at Dollywood and the convention center several times a year and have never had a bad experience like this.

Cons: The night I checked in I did not get a receipt I asked the clerk for a receipt and she said that I would have to get my receipt from booking.com we were scheduled to stay for four nights and the night before the last night I told the clerk that we had a family emergency and we’re not staying the last night she said she didn’t know how to do it because it was through a third-party booking.com So the next day I talk to the manager and he gave me the credit and I also received an email of the bill saying my total was now 322 instead of 399 but neither one of those prices are correct I paid 391 so I called the manager back to see if they would straighten it out he said he would check into it and I’ve never heard from him againI will never stay in a red roof Inn again or use booking.com

Cons: I specifically asked for a non-smoking room. The room smelled as if they were burning cigarettes in it nonstop. We would leave and come back to the smell of cigarettes. The bed turndown service was the maid pulling the covers back on the bed.
