Pros: Beautiful home with an awesome view...great deck to relax with a glass or two of wine.
Pros: The hostess was very friendly, and made me feel at home, comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed, and room was great.
Pros: Beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. Idyllic and well-maintained grounds. Appreciated the serve-yourself, all-you-can-eat breakfast bar.
Pros: the 2 breakfast's that we had where much better than we had expected by far. Sitting in the backyard having breakfast with the birds and chipmunks was very nice. Even had a few visitors, mommy and baby deer popped in to see us. Ruth and Gord made us feel welcome right from the beginning. Location was perfect & easy to get to.
Cons: Wish we could of stayed longer. Everything was great.
Pros: Very clean and very big room with private bathroom
Pros: Great location. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Suited our purposes perfectly.
Cons: Nowhere to hang wet towels.
Pros: We had the whole basement, plenty of room for 5 people.it had a fridge and breakfast bar and mini kitchen.everything we needed.we could even make ice for our cooler to take to the beach.we had a fire outside, all we needed was supplies for smores.my husband loved the back yard, very peacefull.
Cons: We loved it! There was not anything we didnt like.
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. We had a very nice room. The owners wer both very very nice
Cons: I thought that itwas on the water not so far away from it
Pros: Ruth and Gord are amazing hosts. We visited years ago and they remembered us and that sunflowers are my favourite flower.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. The hosts and venue are amazing.
Pros: The room and property was very welcoming and relaxing. The hosts were a warm, friendly couple.
When you stay at Kettle Creek Inn in Port Stanley, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Lake Erie and 4 minutes by foot from Port Stanley Terminal Rail. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. This inn has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: My gra daughter slept so well and loved the bed so much she wanted to stay for an extra night.
Pros: Nice layout. Beautiful bathroom. Great air conditioning.
Cons: The bed was too hard. The location getting into the parking lot was tricky. No elevator.
Pros: Located right beside all the restaurants and shops, a short walk to the beach
Cons: Warm charming atmosphere
Pros: Bed great
Pros: The location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and the pier/beach. Our room was extremely quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night.
Pros: Great location in Port Stanley. Very friendly staff.
Pros: The property is great! The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The location is very central and easy to get to everything. The staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful at check-in, friendly at check-out but disappointed nothing was done about the noisy / broken air conditioner. The continental breakfast was greatly appreciated.
Cons: The air conditioner was very noisy and broke at 2AM making a horrible noise. Reported it at checkout but wasn't met with much of an apology and no compensation for loss of sleep. The service and food in the restaurant for dinner was sub-par. The table behind us walked out after waiting for almost 30 minutes for a waitress to even take their drink order and none ever came. Our waitress was nice but not very good and extremely slow. I ordered the leg of lamb and it was so tough I had to ask for a steak knife to be able to cut it. You should NEVER need a steak knife for leg of lamb. A proper waitress would have either taken it back or sent the manager over. The lamb tasted okay so I ate most of it but paid for it later! Not only was it hard to cut but apparently hard to digest as it was still causing issues at 4 AM (we ate dinner before 8PM). In general I would recommend the Inn as a place to stay but not to eat.
Pros: Breakfast was fine but limited to a continental-type breakfast. We had some delicious homemade muffins but no made-to-order items. It was mostly a serve-yourself affair but coffee and juice were brought to our table.
Pros: Excellent location, facilities and staff.
Pros: The courtyard is a beautiful place to have lunch or dinner
Cons: It was very quaint. We liked everything
Pros: The food at the restaurant was amazing!! And so was the service.
Cons: The rooms were very hot no air conditioning in the room. And when the windows were open we could hear noise from the street. A ceiling fan would have been helpful.

Pros: Great location. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Happy we had main floor with walk out to the patio.
Pros: The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Easy check in. Convenient location.
Cons: I will start off by saying my husband and I have stayed here before and were very happy. Unfortunately this stay was sub par. We stayed in the safari cub room, which is extremely small and awkward. Yucky old carpet, extremely small tv. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine, which kept us from being able to sleep. The fridge can hardly open dragging across the carpet floor. The ice machine is right outside, so every time someone gets ice we could hear it in our room. Also the hallway outside of our room reeked of marijuana. I was so excited to stay here, because our last visit was awesome. Sad to say I will definitely look elsewhere next time we stay in Port Stanley.
Pros: A beautiful room for the cost! Love the hot tub and fireplace and the bed was super comfortable. Excellent location and great staff. We liked the themed room. Will definitely return!
Cons: wi fi was super spotty and unreliable.
Pros: Nice decor Coffee!
Pros: Great view!
Pros: Great location right on the water and near restaurants etc.
Cons: Thought it was very expensive related to the type of amenities, e.g., TV was only visible from one bed and didn’t get any HD channels. Two big stains on the carpet. Etc.
Pros: Very accommodating, staff very friendly and helpful
Pros: The view outside the hotel and from our balcony was great the bed was very comfortable and room was pretty clean .
Cons: We stayed in the out of Africa room there were things floating in the jaquizzi in our room I had to skim the top with a face cloth to remove them and requested bleach to put in the jacuzzi tub. The curtain was pinned with a safety pin enjoyed the layout and the room other wise and the deck outside our room was perfect however the breakfast was basicly snacks . Also it was our anniversary which we stipulated before booking and they didnt even do anything special absolutely nothing they didn't even mention it when we checked in or out . There's is absolutely nothing that makes this hotel special besides the location . There is even a guest book in the room most pages have been ripped out why is that? Did they not like those comments. Value for the price I feel wasnt there.

Pros: Staff excellent - breakfast was excellent, and the staff caring for the dining area were excellent. Comfortable. WiFi.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.
Cons: We are in our eighties and were surprised there was no elevator. A friend in a wheelchair could not visit us.
Pros: clean room and comfort
Cons: no elevator
Pros: It was very clean and staff were very nice and the free breakfast was very good a wide choice of food to eat and there was always lots to eat.
Cons: My room was right by the stairs to the 2nd floor, Every time the door was used I would hear it open and worse of all slam closed.
Pros: The eggs were hot and fluffy and quite tasty. It was honestly the best night's sleep I've had in a year the bed was so comfortable
Pros: Good breakfast and friendly staff. Room were pretty clean.
Cons: One pillow case had blood spots and was not noticed. Not enough bathroom counter.
Pros: Good location friendly staff nice facility.
Cons: They could have an elevator to the second floor for luggage. It would have been nice to have a access to the rear parking lot in the middle of the building.
Pros: The hotel is newly updated. This is my third stay there, and it was always nice before. It's even better now!
Cons: The hotel does not have an elevator.
Pros: The service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent.
Pros: Great price, large room, good shower, good breakfast
Pros: Breakfast and 24/7 coffee was great.
With a stay at Cardinal Court Motel in Southwold, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lake Erie and White Oaks Mall. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was cozy, well laid out and the decor modern. The manager was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The grounds were neat and well kept. There is a nice outside seating area; if no construction could see being very peaceful & serene. My son is 3 and he would continuously say "I like this place" ... so 3yr old approved lol
Cons: If I had known ahead of time there was major construction going on directly behind the building, I would have found a different place to stay. My son needed to nap; very difficult with a road being torn up outside the window. A few small issues...fuse blew, room phone didn't work, some stains on bedding, serious need for curtain in bathroom area (morning light would shine in super early).
Pros: Was a great visit as always. Ian is absolutely fabulous & always has been so amazing to my family throughout the years, one of the main reasons we come back & the family history of us going to this motel with our father. The only thing I would suggest is to cover that window thats open to sun in room #14 & replace the a/c as its very loud & didn't really do much in the room for about two days after we got there. Other then that everyone is always so fantastic like one big family. My daughter has grown up as well coming here past 5 years with me as well & was really sad when we had to leave because of how family all the rooms & friendly they are. See you next year! Thank you. :)
Pros: Breakfast was good; staff help was excellent. Very peaceful and well kept grounds. Staff went the extra mile and even helped me set up my computer!
Cons: No complaints or bad remarks at all!
Pros: We highly recommended it. We were traveling from Michigan to Toronto and we stopped here for a night. The room was super clean, Ian the manager was super helpful, professional and fast service. We even had a continental breakfast which’s we didn’t expect. The property well maintained and we will definitely come back
Pros: Night light over bed and one near bathroom so I didn't have to blind myself in the middle of night going to the bathroom. Air conditioner that worked and didn't rattle all night. Quiet.
Cons: Everything was great. We did feel the cost for the room was a bit much. But overall were happy with our stay.
Pros: staff made every effort to assist. Couldn't ask for more
Pros: The room I stayed it had just been renovated. All furniture, lamps, etc had been replaced, and it was quite nice. The fridge still had to be replaced, but worked fine. The owner, Ian, was excellent. Very helpful in every way possible. The phone didn’t work in my room, and he replaced it immediately. All in all, it was a very good place to stay. Close to shopping in St. Thomas. It was a quiet place, which I appreciated. I will definitely stay there again.
Cons: Traveling alone, I am very aware of security. I would have appreciated having some kind of chain for extra peace of mind on the door.
Pros: The stuff was friendly. Our room was beautiful. Internet was good. The area was quiet - not much traffic.
Cons: The breakfast could be better.
Pros: The rooms were above expectations. They are nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The motel was easy to get to from the 401 and close to St. Thomas. Ian was very helpful and friendly. He was one reason we enjoyed staying there. If in the area again it is one place we will definitely consider staying at and a place we would recommend to our friends to use.
Pros: Ian, at the front desk was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
With a stay at Glenhaven Motel in Saint Thomas, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Canada Southern Railway Station and Elgin County Railway Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The age and condition of the building shows a great deal of mould and mildew, it was cleaned really well, and staff were friendly and professional. Bedding and bathroom towels were in great condition.
Cons: The wifi was horrible.
Pros: For a place to simply sleep and shower it was worth the price. It’s an affordable option that isn’t much worse than a recent stay I had at a comfort inn, and their pillows were way more comfortable. When traveling for the events I do I would stay again. Bonus the Tim Horton’s is right next door!
Cons: The shower looked gross and the water leaked everywhere. The wifi would cut in and out, and you have to run the water for at least 5 minutes before it starts to get warm. Also the room was bitter cold when I arrived.
Pros: The price and location was okay for my needs.
Cons: The bathroom taps and possibly the toilet had minor leaks which made the floor wet and slippery. There was no easily accessed receptacle over the desk to plug in a charger or laptop. The TV was an old CRT television and the picture was fuzzy at times.
Pros: Pillow more comfortable
Cons: Smell and no heater in the washroom
Cons: No blankets, no heat, no a/c, windows didn’t open, no maid service for 3 night stay.
Pros: My boyfriend recommends updating the wifi thats really the whole reason we come besides the fact thats the only way we can spend time alone together other then that the place is great
Cons: Bad wifi
Cons: I left a complaint about the kids being noisy on the floor.
