Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel's central location, making it convenient for exploring the city and visiting major attractions. Many appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the quality of the breakfast. Small hotel that serves as a good place to spend the night. Good location but small rooms, classic European size. 4 floors no elevator but staff helped with suitcases. Right in front of large church.

Mediocre
JOE, Sep 2018
Pros (+) Cheap
Cons (-) Crummy bathroom with no place or room for anything. Sulfurous stench water (not filtered as is needed in Reykjavik water system). Noisy smoker area outside tenant windows that kept me awake until four thirty am then restarted at six am). Paper thin walls. Dirty carpets. Just a dump that’s milking tourists.

Pros (+) Walking distance to the main strip, restaurants, shopping, night life. Staff was very friendly. Cute lobby/lounge area.
Cons (-) Room was tiny!! Very outdated. Bathroom smelled strongly of urine. Wasn't horrible, 3 star hotel. Wouldn't stay more than a night or 2
