Pros: Location - closest hotel to Parque Arauco Mall. Lots of restaurant options there. Wifi works well. In room adapters to all international plugs. Nice room layout and views.
Cons: Sheets barely cover the mattress, are never tucked tight. (I picked Marriott brand years ago for the beds. If you are facing Ave. Kennedy you will have road noise. The hotel also has a number of tourist families given its proximity to Parque Arauco. That can bring a lot of noise. They do not seem to segregate business travelers from families with small children. That is a negative for me. Breakfast is good except for eggs which leave a lot to be desired. Scrambled are runny, fried are like rubber and omelettes are burnt consistently.

Cons: I have stayed at this hotel 6 times since June, most between 8-10 days. Over 45 days so far. This last trip, my client asked me to stay 6 additional nights for meetings. Told the hotel 2 days in advance of checkout. Rather than extend my stay at the extended stay rate, they charged me at the full spot rate and made this a new reservation. Funny thing is I did not get new welcome gift or bonus points (Marriott platinum member) as my status would dictate. Strongly considering alternatives. In my 700 plus nights of stays in Marriott hotels, I have never experienced this.

Pros: First, I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Cumbres Lastarria. It is well located in a very trendy neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and wine bars. The view of the Andes Cordillera is breathtaking from the rooftop. The room is spacious and comfortable and really clean. The bathroom design is modern and pampering.
Cons: Some minuses: The restaurant was not really good as well as the breakfast which was a bit disappointing. There wasn't enough vegetables for example. This is also true that the hotel did not respond to my mails I sent regarding my future stay. Still I really enjoyed my stay. Is it a 5 star hotel, maybe not but it is certainly a boutique hotel that I can recommend.

Pros: The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They all speak very good Engish and so so nice. The room was AMAZING, clean, comfortable, robes and slippers, bottled water, coffee, etc. The area surrounding the hotel is wonderful, safe, with many great restaurants and shops.

Pros: The staff were friendly and were largely fluent in English. The location was great, only a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and parks. The wifi was strong throughout the hotel, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The rooftop bar was very nice but wasn't open on the weekend which was a disappointment. Really good quality for the price.
Cons: The pool is in the basement which was a mistake on our end, some old/incorrect pictures showed it as a rooftop pool which made spending a day at the pool impossible. Water in the room is outrageously expensive, $10/bottle! The shower/tub combo was a bit uncomfortable - I'm very average size and it was too narrow to stand shoulder width. The room was starting to show some signs of age but still a very good value.

Pros: - The neighbourhood is great. 5mins walk from metro, many great restaurants at walking distance in a beautiful scenario. - Check-in/out was fast and straightforward - All the areas are very clean and spacious - Hotel is quiet during the night, Windows are big, clean and provide good insulation - Staff very helpful and polite - Some rooms have small kitchens with a lot of equipment.
Cons: - Bathroom is also good, but i missed an air extractor. - Breakfast is abundant, and with impressive variety, but IMO it could improve in quality. It is served by a restaurant that is not part of the hotel, so the staff is separate and not as good as the hotel staff.

Cons: Rooms were super small, dirty, out dated, and in need of repair. The front desk was less than friendly.
