I would 400% stay again and recommend to friends!

Pros: Penny was a very pleasant host.

Cons: we were lucky we had one high visibility jacket with us, the walk home after visiting Durty Nellys though pleasant becomes a dark country road so a little pocket flashlight comes in handy.

Pros: Very clean and cosy place; proprietor was businesslike and funny. She did us a huge favor by driving us into the village for dinner -- and picking us up. She called a cab company to drive us to the airport the next morning. Breakfast was delicious, including the homemade brown bread. We liked being so close to Shannon airport.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was fine, very good in fact
Cons: The only thing I did not like was/is the wi-fi being on in the rooms. I understand this is a minority viewpoint and you would have many complaints if you did NOT have it..................but personally I don't like being around wireless radiation and consider it a major problem in the modern world that causes so much illness. But as I say this does not really reflect on you..............unless some day the health problems become so severe that a good marketing strategy might be to boast about NOT having wi-fi in the rooms

Cons: Really not much to dislike although free parking for hotel guests would be an added bonus to make our future stays that much more enjoyable and economical.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was excellent and included in the price of the room, which is unusual for a hotel. My room was large and comfortable, with an especially great shower in the bathroom. The restaurant's menu was decent and the food was good. The hotel is located just a short walk across the parking lot from the airport.
Cons: The TV did not appear to have a lot of channels, but since I read most of the time, it didn't matter to me, but it might to some people. Otherwise, no issues.

Pros: Slept well bed and pillows comfy good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE SMOKING AREA
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, good amenities, in a great location for a reasonable price.
Cons: We stayed twice (flying in and out of Shannon). The first time with a superior double bed and a single. The second time with the "executive king room". We've been traveling throughout Ireland for weeks and have found that sometimes "double" is actually larger, however, this is the first place that "king" has not been a king sized bed. It is barely larger than an American double or full-size. We accepted a room with two beds but really feel the hotel is misleading in it's description. From what we heard there have been frequent similar complaints. For that reason, I wouldn't stay there again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything . From the minute I checked in until I checked out all staff were wonderful. The breakfast was first class.
Cons: I was told the beds were new. I didn't like my bed. It was like sleeping on a half barrel...whatever that is like. I am used to a king size bed so perhaps that was the problem ( 4 ft. bed is too small for me). Not a fault of the hotel...just saying.

Cons: The staff, the room, the cleanliness. It's everything you come to expect from a good hotel. Great selection of food and drink.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Property location was convenient for travel to the Airport the next morning. The restaurant was satisfactory.
Cons: Bathroom fixtures were broken or missing. The toilet flush button was broken and had to be held to operate. (A sign apologized for the inconvenience) There was no toilet paper holder. It was previously broken off. The shower fixture was defective and had to be held to make it work. When we informed staff they shrugged their shoulders. They did not offer to change rooms.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: It was cute, & quaint. Loved the antique pieces around the public areas. Was close to airport, which was our main need, as our flight was very early. Staff was great! Very helpful for our very short stay.
Cons: Bathroom needed more space for our stuff. We could have used more hangers for our clothes. Shuttle service to the airport would have been Great!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in bunratty castle hotel, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Leisure facilities were lovely, bedroom was amazing, huge thank you to Jordan on reception for our room upgrade. Looking forward to returning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel! We were immediately greeted with friendly smiles and check in was quick. The lobby is beautiful with real candles lit throughout the lobby and sitting areas. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with a separate shower and large bathtub. We had been on the road in Ireland for 5 days and this hotel was luxurious and restful. It is located right off the main road and was easy to find. We attended the Bunratty Castle medieval feast across the street and had a wonderful time- we highly recommend this experience! Our only regret is that we only stayed 1 night!!
Cons: We loved everything about this hotel. It is reasonably priced and had excellent customer service.
8.5 Excellent

Pros: The gym area and pool. The evening meal and breakfast were pretty good.
Cons: My bathroom sink was cracked, dusty mirror, bath dirty. Sticker (4x bath-sheets ...) with bar code found on towel while drying off. Old in room menu made it difficult to order food. Reception didn’t preauthorise card so I had to pay over the phone for room service...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great staff, food was excellent, beautiful interior
Cons: Shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold and shower was a little dated...but very minor complaint. Overall was excellent stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful hotel. We will highly recommend the Bunratty Castle Hotel to all. I chose the hotel because of it's reputation and it's nearness to Bunratty Castle where we were attending the Banquet with our in-laws from Brisbane, Australia. It was their first visit to Ireland and so it was important to us when choosing a hotel that they experienced famous Irish hospitality and elegance. They were very impressed! They said Bunratty Castle Hotel was not only the best hotel they had stayed in around Ireland but the best value and they will be recommending BCH. (they had booked the other hotels themselves because they were driving from Dublin and around the north before coming to us.) To add to the excellent experience, upon arrival we were upgraded to an Executive room with Executive breakfast!
Cons: The only hitches (sorry to mention them but I'm sure you would like to know) were two minor ones. We were on the 4th floor and upon returning to the hotel after the banquet, found that the 4th floor button in the lift was broken and had disappeared into the console. Our in laws who rode up before we did had to go to floor 3 and walk up to 4 but the lady has bad knees. When we went up and saw the problem, we reported it and the young man who I think was the manager took us up in the staff lift. And one tiny tiny little quibble!! We had Eggs Royale and the Veggie breakfast and the poached eggs were hard. But still very tasty.

Pros: Convenient to my onward destination and close to all amenities.
Cons: A little too far from reception & exit but was my 1st time visit so will request different room next visit.
