Picked up car in dark and rain. Sixt representative didn't supply ordered car. Car that was supplied had hole in bumper. All alloys scratched, misaligned bonnet - it had been in a crash- and scratches all over it. None of this was mentioned by sixt but was emailed out to me afterwards. Phoned sixt who said it was driveable but they'd swap car but wouldn't confirm what replacement would be. I'd also have to drive to them to sort this out. None of this was possible given the schedule I was on. Shoddy service. Poor and potentially unsafe car.Reviewed 30 Aug. 2023

I wasn't given a car as Sixt wouldn't accept my temporary license. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful - he checked all the other agencies and took me to one that accepted my license - I had to pay £200 more than the rental I'd booked with you. The customer service was impeccable. I was served by a guy named Ish and he was just amazing. The car was clean, had brand new smell, it was a great drive and the return was painless. It took us 90 minutes to get the car. There were only two people in front of us in line, but there was only one person working and for some reason it took him a very long time to process them. Then the car wasn't even on the lot and we had to track him down. The worker was very nice and helpful and I don't think it was his fault.Reviewed 9 Sep. 2021

Pros:Steven at pickup was great and very helpful. He did not try a hard upsell, which has often happened to me. At drop off, Kristian was wonderful; there was a small bit of damage and he was comforting and helpful. He was very clear about the process.Cons:When we had to change the time of pickup because the airline cancelled our early flight it was very difficult to work it out; office hours were sketchy (no 24/7 service from Sixt on the phone) and the communication among the staff seemed less than perfectly effective.
