Service was quick & painless at pickup. Called to extend the rental when plans changed, 5 min on the phone & it was done.

Cons:

Booked a full sized truck, got a Tacoma but it worked.

The car was not clean upon pickup!! Dirt all in trunk, some beverage spilt in backseat cup holders and on leather in back. Console and gear area was full of grime. Very disappointing when you expect to have a CLEAN vehicle. Tried to contact AVIS on Sunday and both airport & main office were closed. Vmail indicated to email for immediate response and I did with STILL NO REPLY! Too late now! This is the 2nd time I have rented a dirty vehicle via Avis and whether I am using it for business or personal it is very embarrassing to have a passenger inside. I am not sure if I will give them a 3rd try. I hope this does not fall on deaf ears as I would think they want a good reputation!

Cons:

Arranged for car and upon landing kiosk closed and no arrangements left or notification received. Stranded at airport as destination in remote area north of destination.

Pros:

Agent wasn't present for drop off, so I didn't have to see her again.

Cons:

Didn't have the car I reserved. What's the point of 'reserving'? Agent was rude, dismissive and kind of smelly. Car was battered and beaten, but I was not given a copy of the damage report to cross reference damage. She was basically hustling me out so she could get back to her smoke break.
