Pros: there was only smoking rooms available when we arrived as myself and my husband are not smokers we declined this room and were advised a non smoking room would be available in an hour. When we returned we were delighted to be told that we were to be upgraded to a nicer room. It was wonderful. Staff lovely and very helpful. Central location close to everything.

Pros: THe hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent both with regard to the tourist spots, restaurants, and the train station. Our room was spotless. We stayed 5 nights and couldn't fault anything. We had a room located at the front of the hotel and there was no noise at night. The airconditioning worked very efficiently and could be controlled and was practically silent! IWe would certainly stay here again.

The desk staff was friendly and spoke good English, which was helpful for someone (me) with a limited command of Spanish. The room was very nice in my opinion, although US travelers that might expect an alarm clock in the room (as I did) may want to be warned to bring one along as this was not provided. The breakfast was good. Finally, I thought the hotel was actually in an ideal area as it is midway between the beach and the historic parts of the city, close to the city of arts and sciences, and has plenty of businesses that a traveler might need nearby (restaurants, laundry, mall, etc).

The NH Ciudad de Valencia hotel is in one of the city’s main streets, Avenida del Puerto. Many attractions can be found nearby, including the City of Arts and Sciences Museum, the Palace of Arts, and the Opera House. There is a subway and bus stop by the hotel for connections to the rest of the city and the surrounding areas. After a five minute drive, you will find yourself at the Las Arenas and La Malvarrosa sandy beaches. Each room at NH Ciudad de Valencia is equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, and a desk, in case you need to get some work done. There is a total of 149 rooms including triple rooms and two Junior Suites that have a separate living area and an outdoor terrace. All are designed in a contemporary style with red accents and a laid-back color scheme. Breakfast is an exciting affair, with many delicious options to choose from. They include cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, and much more besides. From Monday-Thursday dinner is available in the restaurant, and although the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner on the weekends, we recommend that you try the world-famous Valencian paella at one of the local restaurants. We also have 2 meeting rooms for up to 70 people and a compact gym.

Pros: A very clean and modern hotel not far from the centre and 5 mins from Ayora metro station with only 4 stops to the beach. Very nice hotel with friendly staff and good modern amenities, room service and nice bar. A taxi from the centre is only 6 euros but only accessible at night on the night bus.

Pros: the hotel is completely renovated, very comfortable and quiet. The room was very spacious. The hotel is between city center and America's Cup Port. City center is about 30 min walking, the Port is 20 min. I was there for America's Cup and it was very close to the Port.
