10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything! All the staff were superb! I was Aloha-ed every day and I loved talking with them! They got fresh fruit, hot tabs, tea, coffee, and other stuff like free laundry and their wonderful kitchen... always kept clean! Still close to the beach, not very far. It was located in a quiet and nice neighborhood. They got a public bus system so it was still very convenient to get around without a car.
Cons: If there's one thing I need to say, just be a little aware that they do have a quite hour starting from 9 o'clock in the evening. The kitchen was closed at 8 pm. You need to get back early if you want to prepare some food for dinner. I was also asked once to remove some clothes with buckles from the dryer ... that was before 9 pm but I understood that someone might already fall asleep. The entire house was kept quiet most of the time, but if someone was talking in the kitchen or living room, we can hear each other pretty clearly (my room was on the first floor). So lower down any private conversation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner. Super comfortable nice breakfast beach gear available to use. Lots of open space to relax.full kitchen available to use. A little warn this time of the year for a jacuzzi but would be nice in the winter. Will definitely be back.
Cons: Pillows were a little hard, but I always bring my own
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The helpfulness of the staff was wonderful. Everything was super clean and there were lots of free rentals available (boogie boards, chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment).
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Privacy of the room. Fresh daily breakfast! Attentive staff. As advertised and more!
Cons: Every detail was covered. Informative staff helped us with local attractions! We were thrilled with how we were accommodated.
6.7 Good
Pros: It was a lovely room with a spa
Cons: No key for the room. They rushed us out when we weren’t going to be late checking out. Too far out of town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Guest House met our needs perfectly. There was fresh fruit for breakfast everyday. We had our own hot tub! The pool was beautiful. We had use of all the beach supplies we could possibly need.
Cons: The shower and bathroom was very nice but, a little small.

Pros: Loved everything!
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent

Washer/dryer. Barbecue and full cooking facilities. Patio and pool plus individual hot tubs. Great shower. Great DVD collection and in-room television and DVD players. In room refrigerator.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great!!!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious rooms with private hot tub and lanai. Helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast to start the day. Free use of the kitchen for cooking. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood about one to two miles from the downtown center of Lahaina. Free parking, wi-fi, laundry and no hidden fees. Wonderful new upper deck to view sunsets over the ocean. Free use of beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, snorkeling gear. Will stay again when we return.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and hospitality. Clean and great location They let us borrow snorkeling gear and umbrella for the beach. Very kind and easy going people.
Cons: No curtains or blinds for Hot tub area. Can’t lock the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house and room were peaceful and clean. Parking outside was on the property. The decorative appointments were well done, very tropical.
Cons: I guess I didn't read the information, but usually at a bed and breakfast, we have come to expect a hot prepared meal. We were unlucky and ran into road jams to the Lahaina and driving to Wailuku. When the road was clear, the drive was pleasant and scenic.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice looking property with balinese style architecture and design - a real home for us while staying on Maui. We stayed in room Honu, bed was comfortable, we liked the bath and outdoor shower. The garden, the view, overlooking the west side of Maui was great. Good breakfast and needed facilities on site. The host, Dan, was very nice and helpful
Cons: Occasionally bugs on the room or bath floor, can be annoying but somehow expected on a tropical island. Also probably because the property is eco-friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Bed and Breakfast is beautiful! The rooms were spacious, clean and the outdoor shower was great. Very quiet and relaxing. They were helpful with suggestions on what to do and things to go and see.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect if you are trying to access multiple parts of the island on the same trip including Lahaina and even if you plan to trek the road to Hana. Dan was very accommodating throughout the whole process and every inch of the property is gorgeous and peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra clean property, very secluded and staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is pretty central - just a few miles out from Front Street and Lahaina. The bedroom we stayed in was great. The view was perfect and it felt very private. Our small patio was blocked off with beautifully maintained trees and bushes. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower. It was a great feeling to be showering outdoor with the view of the ocean (if you're tall enough!). Another favorite is that this is an adult only BnB. That translates to NO SCREAMING children that the resorts are filled to the brim with.
Cons: I wish we had more options for breakfast. There were cereal, granola, yogurt, eggs, a bowl of fresh fruit, and homemade pineapple. muffins most of the foods were really sweet and sugar laden, which made those who can't or chooses not to eat too many sweets very limiting. The room was equipped with a ceiling fan, but the AC wasn't strong enough for August. We had to keep it on at 16 and 17C all day long to keep the room comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, good location. Well maintained grounds. Host Dan was very helpful. You can get an Uber easily to Lahaina. Great breakfast with vegan options, included in price of room which is rare for Maui. We hired a car and it was easy to get to all beaches/restaurants.
Cons: The bed was a bit soft for our liking. But that’s it.
6.7 Good
Pros: The grounds were incredible. The outdoor shower was very cool and unlike anything I've experienced before. I actually really enjoyed the wildlife around and would seek out the cute gecko's at night and loved the frogs. The stars were beautifully visible and it was a lot of fun to gaze at night. I also loved the running trails near by and it was nice to be tucked away from the town of Lahaina but still accessible.
Cons: I am an avid traveler and actually prefer B&B's to big hotels. The charm of B&B's is really special with the right set up and experience. Unfortunately, the breakfast was absolutely dismal. It should not be called a bed & breakfast. Maybe for a weekend away but given we were there for 5 nights - it was not good. The options were completely lackluster and given neither of us like sweet foods - we were left with just a few hard boiled eggs to choose from. We ended up going out and buying our own food which kind of defeats the purpose. The owners were not friendly at all. Multiple times in the morning when we were sipping coffee, Amy was there but didn't make eye contact once or even respond to a good morning. Given we were there for 5 nights - this was unacceptable. If we were unruly guests, maybe - but, we minded our business, we barely there, etc. While I loved the outdoor shower, you should not go here with anyone you're not 100% comfortable with given the fact the toilet area has no privacy. If you aren't comfortable, be prepared to leave the room. With a little extra effort and a little friendliness, this place could go a long way. I'm honestly pretty surprised at all of the positive reviews.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pristine cleanliness inside, kind and helpful hosts. Balinese theme is gorgeous.
Cons: Overgrown driveway plants and odd shares driveway entrance. Some weeding around property and wood shining is needed on the outside;))
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the place back and forth. It is in a friendly neighbourhood where you can easily feel home from the very beginning - even go for a morning run, if you’d like. Dan, our host, was very welcoming and helped us anytime we had questions or needed recommendation on anything. The house is calm, super clean, welcoming, well-equipped and our 2 weeks there were simply amazing. Our room was above all, with an outdoor shower, a nice patio and a comfy bed. The outdoor pool is perfect for a quick swim at the end of the day. We had tasty breakfast at the house almost everyday with lots of fruits, eggs and homemade bakery. We loved that! We sure wanna go back soon, thank you Dan & Amy!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic place to stay, everything we wanted and more. The rooms were excellent and although initially unsure about the outside shower, I was hooked by the end of our stay. Very comfortable and lovely to sit and enjoy the tranquility at different times of day. I cannot recommend enough.
Cons: Nothing, very happy

Pros: Spa services!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location great, beautiful sunset and everything was spotless. We were 8 in total and stayed in two 2 bed apartments which were great especially the kitchen after eating out for 10 days
9.1 Excellent
Pros: This place is beautiful... almost heaven-like. The pools are separated into mini pools so you can hang out by yourself or with your own group that gives you the feeling of you own the entire pool. The garden is just beautiful. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Cons: Housekeeping is not very thorough sometimes, but still gets an A-. Not too thrilled about having to pay $30/night for valet parking. And feeling obligated to tip them every time we need to get our car or have it parked. The resort fee of $40/night should include valet parking.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is primo, very quiet, understated luxury, spacious, not crowded, beautiful views.
Cons: Bed was not that comfy- there was a feather topper to help provide more comfortable I asked for non feathered bedding and late check before my arrival via email and it was not taken care of. Housekeeping came into our room without announcing and thought she lost her cleaning rags in our room No coffee put out for following day
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing. Loved the atmosphere of the inn. The bed was very comfy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were excellent - original, delicious and wonderfully presented. The breakfast and sitting rooms, as well as the bedroom, were beautifully decorated and the garden was a lovely place to sit and relax. Tom and Janice are very friendly and welcoming hosts and were very helpful with recommendations of places to visit/eat. And they have thought of lots of little extras to make your stay more comfortable such as beach towels/mats/parasols, and tea and snacks available. The guest house is in the perfect position to visit lots of places on the island. We would definitely return.
Cons: The room was a little small and there was a musty smell in the corridor outside it but these didn't spoil the holiday.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about the place. It's a beautiful, charming inn. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a homey feel to it. Kind staff and several great amenities, which makes for a lovely stay!
Cons: Recycling bins would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a fall while out and about and the team were very helpful, helped my wife no end... Thank you again
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, location not the greatest but close to airport and convenient for travel to places we wanted to visit.
Cons: access to the property was pretty tight, but it is what it is.
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely building with super communal areas.
Cons: Breakfast. There was no choice, unless you got up extra early for the continental options and some of the combinations on a plate were a bit odd.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good food and great staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a really nice property well located a short walk into Central Kahului. I had the Plumeria room - spacious and nicely decorated. The ladies offered a nice communal breakfast, with the menu changing daily, and a willingness to accommodate any and all dietary needs. If you want a base to explore Maui and don’t need a beach or pool, this is a super option. I would definitely go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a pleasant change from staying in a large resort type hotel. Felt like being at home. Great shower!

C$ 574+
Overview Reviews
This exclusive luxury condominium boasts an incredibly convenient location on Maui's most famous beach at Kaanapali. It's directly across two championship golf courses and adjacent to Whaler's Village Shopping Center. The landscaped garden courtyard features a waterfall and koi pond, and every unit offers a full kitchen and a spectacular view.
7.0 Good
Pros: It's at the Whaler's Village right by the beach and restaurants, 10 minute drive to Front St and places in Lahaina. The grounds are nice and each of the units have a view of the ocean and mountains and a full kitchen.
Cons: Our unit had a leak and they let repair crew into our condo before they were able to inform us. We were promised anniversary gifts but had to follow up next day and wait an hour in hotel room. Cleaning knocked twice 30 min before checkout, felt rushed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: View!!
Cons: Housekeeping came into clean room and think all they did was make bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nicely updated and the location was perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great views of Kaanapali beach, nice rooms and facilities.
Cons: Watch out for holds on your credit card after you leave. They double charged me without notifying me.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, on the beach and next to restaurants, shops and supermarket. Big room.
Cons: Hotel is very old, it needs renovation. Room decoration is old as well. Mattress was old and very uncomfortable. Aircon very noisy and blows directly at the bed. Check in is at 4pm, we arrived at 3:45pm and they didn’t let us in. Bad value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our unit was comfortable and had a great ocean view.
Cons: Nothing- everything was great.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The pool was closed for repair, and we were not notified ahead of time. Very disappointing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and even though the description mentioned garden view, you can see the ocean from every balcony. Spotless room, and every day perfectly cleaned. The location is perfect, walking distance to The Whaler mall, and just next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the west side of the island. Plenty of underground parking to leave your car.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was closed due to renovation works, but they offered us to use the pool of the hotel next door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved that we had access to the pool, beach, restaurants and the shopping area within walking distance.
Cons: That the property was doing construction and they closed the pool down for resurfacing but we had the beach and we could use the pool at the hotel next to us, so it worked out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean high end resort. Staff friendly and professional.
Cons: Would have liked a small store and a bar area.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The grounds were beautiful. The room was modern and well maintained. The staff was first rate.
Cons: We booked a room with an ocean view. We got a room with a view of the loading area / propane storage tanks of the Whaler Mall and a small view of ocean in the distance. All day we listened to truck back up alarms. We booked far in advance. At the time there was no mention of the pool not being in service. We arrived to find both the pool and hot tub closed. We're an older couple and have balance issues. We can't easily get in and out of the ocean surf. A swimming pool is important to us. There were pool privileges nextdoor. That pool was so dirty I wouldn't allow my dog to swim in it. There were some good things. Both the room and the grounds were attractive and well kept. The staff was first rate and the AC worked well. If we'd had a pool and a room with other than a view of an industrial site it could have been a good vacation. As it was our time and money were wasted FYI, the odd number rooms in tower 2 have (for the most part) the crummy view.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable hotel with beautiful sea and mountain views. We liked it very much. Clean and beautiful hotel and environment.

Pros: Beautiful room. Great location. No resort fees.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views! Amazing location! Can't wait to go back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the lanai and being able to look at the beach, ocean and sunset from our condo. It was truly breathtaking! We also loved playing in the ocean waves and snorkeling at black rock! Super cool bbq area with spices to use. Pool was great to relax in after play in the ocean! Loved that you could walk to Whaler’s Village and then there’s the condo...just gorgeous and roomy. Perfect for our family of 6.
Cons: Didn’t like the couple of days we had to listen to the drone of machines used for maintenance on the property but understand that it must be done. Didn’t like that there was no fan on lanai sense we spent a lot of time out there and in can get muggy. Didn’t like that the pool closes at 9. Think it should be open later.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing and so were the staff and other guest. Literally paradise
Cons: Lack of restaurants and bars on site although you can use the hotels next door (the Westin)
7.9 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome view and room.
Cons: nothing , Room was perfect
6.3 Good
Pros: Very roomy 3 bedroom suite and Outstanding Luau show.
Cons: Welcome and greetings were below par. Also very confusing to have 2 Hyatts next to each other (Regency and Residences Suites) with totally different checking systems. We wrongly checked-in at the Regency and were sent back to Residences Suites without any assistance. Not too impressed for a resort that costs us $1,000+ / per night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Large spacious rooms, well appointed, large bathrooms.
Cons: Poor service at pool. Kind of a bad ‘Disneyland’ feel. Crowded and chaos. Not a place to go to relax.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The condo was wonderful. It had everything you would ever need and was exceptionally clean. The lobby and pool were beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The Tiki Bar was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink by the pool.
Cons: It was a little farther from Whaler’s Village than we’d like, but still only a 10 minute walk.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Two room suite was amazing, location was idea, and the staff was very friendly. Ka'anapali beach is arguably the best beach in the world.
Cons: Fresh manure was used to fertilize the gardens and grassy areas near the beach. This was a very poor decision as the property smelled all week. I will definitely ask their fertilizing intentions before staying again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room condition was like new and clean. Room layout very convenient with great kitchen & laundry equipment. Excellent view w/nice balcony setup. Quiet rooms. Pool is outstanding and along nice beach section. Beach walkway provided easy access to other venues. Staff was cheerful & responsive to any questions. Nice optional services. Wifi was always strong.
Cons: Can't think of anything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were so happy to pay the extra money to stay at the residence club! We had access to the pool onsite and the Hyatt pools next door. Our kids had a blast.
Cons: We felt pressure to take a timeshare tour every time we walked through lobby.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The space and the views. Amazing.
Cons: The beach was narrow and you had to buy chairs.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Check in was a bit crazy but they did a nice job holding our stuff including food. Wish they had a better idea when our room was ready. Need shaded places to sit on the beach!!!!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Most Excellent location on Maui! Kind of secluded yet not that far away from everything one might need. Proximity to Kapalua coastal trail and all options to discover around it (Ono local kine grindz at General store) very cool! All staff is very helpful and friendly...Lovely grounds!
Cons: Not fault of anyone associated with staff, but sounded like tenants directly above our unit were constantly moving/shuffling around furniture on stone/tile floors...Quite aggravating when seeking some peace and quiet time for kau kau or evening cocktails and lounging.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I booked the hotel room, paid for it, and when I showed up they told me I wasn't in the system and I couldn't stay there. What?!! Terrible front desk person who wouldn't let me stay at the hotel even though I showed her my receipt of payment for the room. Never again. I would not recommend this place unless you're sure they will give you your room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the Resort, many activities available free of charge with daily entertainments such as shows, putty party’s, and much more.
Cons: The air conditioning could of been a bit more cooling as it would get very hot during the middle of the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegant service, warm staff, Hawaiian cultural programs, horticultural tour
Cons: Restaurant staff seemed hastled
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast and dinners were great. Great location. Nice ambiance.
Cons: Air conditioning did not work well at all, and it was very hot and humid. The heat and humidity were not the hotels issue of course, but the air conditioning for a $485 a night room should have been much better. We seemed to be paying more for our room than others in our party.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location, very friendly staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful gardens and outlook to the stunning beach. Rooms were large and well equipped, and very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Napili Kai is a little slice of Heaven! We have been there twice and love it even more each time we visit. It’s a traditional Hawaiian-style property—absolutely gorgeous! Staff is amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent family atmosphere with very friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds are kept beautifully and there are many activities to keep every one busy. Wonderful beach. Multiple pools. The Keiki hula show is a must see (free to hotel guests).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the room where we stayed. It was extremely nice and comfortable. The view from the room was awesome as well. We could see the as we overlooked the miniature golf course.
Cons: Our introduction could have been better. Our friends were given the rundown of the entire property during their check-in. We were merely told where our rooms were. Also, once we reached our room, the parking was limited so I had to carry two 45 lb suitcases up two flights of stairs. I was really irritated but forgot about it once I saw the room. Also, the ceiling was really dirty/stained. Looked as if someone splashed a dark soda all over it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the room and the amenities. The rooms were just fantastic. They were very clean, and strategically located to provide a good view.
Cons: I did not like that I had to carry two very heavy suitcases up the steps. I did not realize I was going to have to do that until I got to the steps and there was nowhere else to go. I cannot believe they did not have or offer this assistance. I did not take points away because everything else was so great. But keep this in mind if you are 55 plus years old and plan on being there for a while and as a result, have a 48lb suitcase.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The swimming was fantastic and the staff are very nice and accommodating. This is an old fashion family resort in the best sense of the word. People go to bed early get up early and enjoy them selves.
Cons: It is expensive and the accommodations particularly luxurious, given the price. You were paying for the location which is surely one of the best speeches I’ve ever seen him i it is expensive and the accommodations particularly luxurious, given the price. You were paying for the location which is surely one of the best speeches I’ve ever seen.

Pros: ;l like the pool area and the service at the restaurants and the friendly Bar. Marriott attracts a nice class of people they keep their property clean at all times. Years ago they had a sushi restaurant on upper level first floor that was great. We are still missing a top notch restaurant.American Italian Mexican , look at Whalers village why do we have to leave the premises we should have fine dining right on the premises. Some MARRIOTTS have great restaurant like the one in Florida resort hotel we always stay there when ever we take our yearly cruise to the islands . ANTON

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the views are extraordinary. We look forward to returning soon.
Cons: The parking underground is dark and smelly
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Ocean view room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: In-suite kitchen was well-stocked and made it easy to prepare meals to enjoy on our ocean view balcony. Steps from the beach with breathtaking sunset views.
Cons: Parking was a hassle and the parking garage smelled worse than any sewer or dumpster I have ever been near. I believe they had a significant issue with septic plumbing while we were there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved how close it was to the ocean, the view, the patio, the kitchenette.
Cons: Our room had a Murphy bed and it did not face the television. No real beach to sit on but so beautiful it didn’t matter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so beautiful and perfectly located. It was near everything an so convenient. I highly recommend staying in one of the premium studios, the view is unbelievable, you can see the sunset every evening, the ocean and the beach view. It is all just beautiful.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean with a nice pool and access to the ocean. The maids did a great job keeping our room clean and organized.
Cons: Although there a nice close parking with half of the parking spaces wide open immediately in front of the hotel, with no explanation, the hotel chose to gate it off and force us to park nearly 100 yards away in a dark, dirty, noisy, low ceiling, crowded underground garage. Why not allow the "regular" people to park close until it is full and then offer less desirable offsite parking. Why make patrons lug their stuff back and forth to the car. Rented a motorcycle and the staff make a huge deal out of allowing me to park it in a otherwise unused motorcycle space in the front parking space. Construction and maintenance an issue. 1. No volume control on TV. Asked maintenance to fix it. 4 days later we left with it still not working. 2. Door to room extremely hard to push open. Asked maintenance and was told that the door closer had to be increased to help force the door completely closed because it was dragging on the floor. Why not just fix the door so it did not drag??? 3. All of the good restaurants were about a quarter mile walk away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location amenities beach
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good location. Easy access to highway.
Cons: I thought the housekeeping did a good job cleaning. However, I left quite early almost every day and I mentioned to several housekeeping staff members that I would like them to clean my room sometime before 2:00pm. Three out of seven days I returned after 3:30 and my room had not been cleaned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ocean view was spectacular!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was good for being close to Lahaina but not in the middle of all the busyness. I liked the little shopping area next door. The room was well appointed.
Cons: The underground parking structure was not the best especially with a jeep. Perhaps the outdoor parking could be held for those with a taller vehicle. It would be nice to have 4 bath towels instead of 2 since it takes so long for things to dry. The shower is only partially enclosed which leads to a wet floor, which leads to having to use the bath towels to dry up the floor thus a shortage of a dry bath towel. A bigger beach, as the tide comes in there isn't a beach to lie on.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location and nice facilities for the money
Cons: The restaurant next door was very noisy at night as they had evening shows that lasted quite late
6.7 Good
Pros: good location and room size for the price
Cons: very dark lobby. looks gloomy
7.3 Good
Pros: Location and price
Cons: electrical outlet next to sink did not work.
5.3 Okay
Pros: Reasonable location, a small pleasant walk to the main shopping area. Value for money given the cost of many places in Maui
Cons: The beach at the front of the property is poor, and as we didnt have a car the nearest decent beach was a 30 min walk away. The pool at the resort is small. The room was clean but kitchen fittings were dated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent beach front location. easy walk into lahaina town. clean, comfortable, well decorated, friendly staff.
6.7 Good
Pros: Big rooms with amazing view! Good price!
Cons: Some of the staff seemed a bit lazy and not what you expected others were really good.
7.3 Good
Pros: Very nice staff, very close proximity to the beach, very clean, beautiful decor
Cons: No free internet (also no wireless internet) available; Internet use added $10 per day to the cost and in this day and age Hotels should have wireless for free. I travel a lot, work online and had to do work, though technically on holidays...almost every hotel I stay has free wireless, Lahaina shores does not! It maybe the only reason not to come back as I loved everything else.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. We liked the stay, it is a beautiful there!
Cons: The beach near the hotel was not very good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: we enjoyed it very much - the bonus was being at the beach and listening to the waves hit the beach.

7.0 Good
Pros: The inn had nice charm and furnishings. The front desk staff is friendly. Free sit down breakfast is provided - includes French toast, fresh fruit, juice, eggs Florentine, American breakfast, etc. Good location in relation to the touristy area of Lahaina.
Cons: The hotel had a restaurant on the first floor. Don't expect to get a quiet night's rest if you go to sleep before 9 pm.

Pros: Staff was wonderful. The experience was very relaxing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted by the friendliest staff. The hotel was beautiful and our room was perfect for the price. Even the wallpaper in the hallway caught my eye. WONDERFUL place to stay!

Pros: Pool and hot tub were awesome! Breakfast poolside was such a nice treat, and even if it rained, there was still enough space in their dining lobby area to be seating comfortably! Highly recommend Plantation Inn
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and were genuinely friendly. The hotel had a nice local feel to it instead of being another expensive cookie-cutter resort that you could find anywhere else. This place is truly one of a kind.

Cons: No suggestions
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice pool and jacuzzi free parking on site , pool area nice

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was right off the main drag, maybe a 5-10 minute walk into town. Room was fine, A/C worked great. Had a pool and outdoor kitchen we didn't use, but looked good. Staff was very helpful when there was a small problem with our TV. The lady at the desk took us down the street to show us the path to town and to the beach, when we checked in. We thought that was really cool.
Cons: Nothing, really.

Pros: This is not a hotel but a home. Very spacious room with en-suite and the pool is heavenly. Hotel employee is a wonderful hostess.

Pros: Good location, clean, good AC, lots of extras for beach (towels, bags, sarongs, chairs, snorkel equipment, pool toys) restaurant discounts, hotel employee is the hostess with the mostest. She treats you like family and ensures you have a pleasan
Cons: N/a
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very comfortable. The AC was a lifesaver during the hot nights and we loved the view of the pool from our balcony. It’s was quiet and peaceful. It was an added bonus meeting the cute dogs and cats that live at the house as well.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool and waterline tiles were lovely. The 4 dogs and 3 cats were delightful. So much potential but didn't hit the mark.
Cons: The property was cluttered with stuff. Things were on and in every surface. There were things dumped everwhere around pool area including a collection of old cars that looked abandoned Infront of property. It made it feel unclean, uncared for and junky. The shower was old, the door doesn't shut, paint is peeling and the cost was more than the 3 bed apartment we hired down the road that was beachfront. We were looking for a quaint guesthouse experience and instead it felt like a youth hostel. Dodgy neighbours didn't help but certainly not the guesthouse's control.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was not only friendly but also gave some great suggestion on where to go and restaurants to visit. Made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome to be here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful little oasis hidden in Lahaina. Perfect for the beach. Literally two minutes walk. Has a great pool. Staff are awesome. Super accommodating and friendly. All in all it's well worth a visit. We had a great time and if we come back to Maui we would definitely stay there again
Cons: I didn't have a problem with this because I like animals but if you don't like cats and dogs this might not be the place for you. There are three cats and four dogs. All lovely and very well behaved. I think they add to the charm of the place but if you're not an animal fan or if you have allergies you might not agree!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is brilliant and the staff that run it are very chilled. Just a short walk to the beach and to front street. Literally the perfect place to stay in Maui
Cons: Was perfect for us to be honest.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy room with a great retro vibe. Especially liked the dancing hula lamp!
Cons: Coffee drinkers well catered for, but not really set up for tea drinkers. Nevertheless, we were able to borrow a kettle on request.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is a minute walk from the beach The pool is really nice after a day on the road
Cons: AC was really loud as it is located above the bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool, the room, the atmosphere and all the staff!
Aston Mahana at Kaanapali - Lahaina - Building

8.9 Excellent (852 reviews)
C$ 479+
Overview Reviews
Hugging a quiet stretch of golden sand, Aston Mahana at Kaanapali is a tranquil tropical retreat that takes full advantage of its beautiful Kaanapali Beach setting. Designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private lanai (balcony), all oceanfront studios and suites make you feel as if you’re floating above the Pacific.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When they say oceanfront they mean it. We could’ve thrown a penny into the ocean from our lanai. The standard studio was spacious and the full kitchen was great for “home” meals when we couldn’t bear another meal out. We also made great use of the washer/dryer in unit. It’s about 15 mins from the bigger town of Lahaina where you can get basically anything you need, but there’s also a grocery store and a few restaurants within walking distance. Staff was fantastic, facilities were clean, and i’m going to miss falling asleep and waking up to crashing waves outside our room!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE VIEW was mesmerizing! The suite itself was so tastefully decorated and beautiful and yet we felt right at home. It was like staying in a $5million house and right on the ocean's edge. Crashing waved down below out lanai and yet very serene and quiet area. Walk to restaurants, grocery store, even food trucks. Best hotel we ever booked!
Cons: There really wasn't anything lacking or unavailable to us.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The views here are world class. If I was a troll, I would have posted "1 star, ocean is too loud, couldn't sleep", but honestly, it's been such a dream spot. Plenty to do right here, and not a far drive from the rest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Our ocean view room was amazing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our ocean front room was absolutely amazing! Just what we were hoping for! We could watch the sunset each evening and enjoyed our morning coffee on the lanai each morning. The full kitchen facilities and close grocery store allowed us to eat most of our meals in the room and go out for a few special meals. The concierge helped us book a couple of great activities.
Cons: The air conditioning was being shut off the day after we arrived, so we were upgraded to a room in the other tower. The air conditioning in that room was less than satisfactory. We could never get the temp. below 78 in the afternoon--too warm for our comfort. Also, we would have preferred a duvet on the bed rather than an unenclosed blanket. We asked for another flat sheet and enclosed it ourselves. The condo itself could have been less cluttered with artificial plants and such which were dusty and visually a bit overwhelming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed to the Mahana to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary, without kids. The staff was very helpful throughout the week. Upon check-in, they gifted us chocolates and a bottle of wine for our anniversary. A very sweet touch! Our condo was beautiful with a full size kitchen. Coffee and toiletry amenities included. Daily maid service was awesome. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Beautiful views out of the floor to ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom, and lanai. Pool area was very nice (not too crowded) and everything is within walking distance! Saw sea turtles from our lanai. There are no other properties so close to the ocean.
Cons: Nothing- We will bring the whole family next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and a great location.
Cons: NA
7.5 Good
Pros: In front of you, Lanai and Molokai are dynamic I was very relaxed at the sea.
Cons: The room was spacious and relaxed, but cockroaches stayed I got out of it and felt very disgusting. Is it unavoidable?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded from a studio to one bedroom apartment with impeccable ocean views. The staff was super friendly, especially the concierge Joey.
Cons: You could not swim at the beach on this property due to coral
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every unit has a view of the ocean. It was clean, updated, and in a great location in the Kaanapali Resort area. The one bedroom unit had a living room, two bathrooms, and a lanai which was accessible from the living room and bedroom. Very quiet and beautiful property with pool and hot tub.
Cons: Beach access is minimal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We have visited this location several times. An observation however is on your selection, depending on how you select which condo will determine the interior amenities. (ie updated, salt pepper things of that nature) whether a “premium” or “regular”
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Premium view. Awesome
Cons: Beach only ok

Pros: Everything was wonderful beside that.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the pull out sofa bed...it sank and had that bar in the middle that I couldn't get comfortable all night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location and I how welcoming and informative the receptionist was. Definitely would come back!
Cons: Maybe informing us if we could use the products such as dish soap and what not, and will not be charged for it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Relatively quiet because in a small block. Great view of the bay. Having the kitchen and plenty of room was great.
Cons: No air conditioning. Didn’t really need it because always a flow through breeze but would have been nice
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room is literally on the coast. Has free parking and all commodities required in the room. They provide beach towels + beach-bag. Small kitchen in the room and bbq to share outside. Great views.
Cons: Wi-fi in the room did not work but could take from another room, in any case, smart tv did not work properly due to poor internet connection.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to beach. Walk out of lanai onto grassy grounds with chaise lounges. Hearing the ocean. Walking distance to lovely beach front restaurant (SeaHouse.) cleanliness of overall space. And having a separate vanity area from toilet/shower area. Watching the sunset on the chaise lounges were breathtaking.
Cons: The bedroom was darker than desired. Outdated furniture but that’s not really a big deal.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: Would prefer tile vs carpet in the living room. Bedroom was very hot and uncomfortable - being so far away from the doors to the lanai.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the water
Cons: No air conditioning. Stifling heat, no relief.

Absolutely loved the free toiletries we got in our room so went to the onsite shop and bought a few to take back home.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was having to check out and come home!

Pros: Bar tender Nick
Cons: After presentation sign out attitudes. When decided not to purchase

Pros: As always its very family friendly that accommodates the entire family. Lot of kids activities for all ages and the many pools makes it fun for all to pool hop within the same resort. Staff are always showing Aloha and the bbq grills are nice to have. Ocean front property and the beach is beautiful with a beach walk to the end of resorts.
Cons: No complaints
7.5 Good
Cons: The bed was so hard I woke up so many times My daughter as well
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, room was lovely, food was very good
Cons: Pretty expensive for what you get, but I guess that’s the location in general.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked & enjoyed the amenities/optional daily activities that were offered throughout my 7 day stay. The staff showed their warm aloha with their cordial greetings and helpful assistance, including providing SUV or golf cart transport offered for people like me who can’t walk long distance without assistance.
Cons: The excessively long walkways in front of the rooms need somewhere to sit down for us that are elderly and tire easily while carrying our heavy bags to and from our room when we are walking to the pool area, lobby and main entrance. There are many chairs and benches on the lobby level and pool areas which are much appreciated!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Been here a million times always amazing witg beeath taking views and great staff

Cons: Beautiful and clean rooms, delicious food, great customer service, and friendly guests. There was nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pools and position was excellent
Cons: The line up at starbucks in the morning
7.5 Good
Pros: Would be 100% satisfied if it were not for the repair work!
Cons: The room cost $ 700 a day, but it was impossible to stay in it, there was a repair next door. The hotel did not bother to warn about the repair in advance. Every morning from 9.00, they were forced to wake up from a knock of a hammer and a drill's buzz.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing bad customer service.
Cons: Bad customer service. Dated rooms.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The upgrade Oceanview was 100% worth it! We love sitting by the pool facing the ocean and just listening to the waves crash in. It was nice that pool security would come around and get to know everyone and where they were sitting so no one ever stole your spot or your towels. The concierge was very helpful to answer questions and direct us to things on the map .
Cons: We sleep on memory foam so the mattress was a little firm for our taste.

Cons: Could not get the tv to work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge rooms with a full kitchen. We were upgraded to an ocean view room which was beautiful. The hotel is nearby a small market and in a very quiet area. It didn't take long to drive to Lahaina or Kahului so I did not mind how out of the way it was.
Cons: Some of the room furniture is a bit 80's kitchy (tiki tv enclosure.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location! Perfect room with a beautiful view!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was lovely, the gazebo was always too busy, all the staff is very friendly except for Judy.
Cons: Judy was rude to my girlfriend when she went up to get some water. Judy might need some training on kindness and Aloha. We understand that water is not to fill up your jugs but she was just wanting to get a drink, she was thirsty and Judy told her to get out. The 1st Room we received the air conditioner didn't work but they did set us up with another one and we had a great stay after that.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in an area where you can enjoy exceptional beaches. In particular it overlooks the beach of Napili Bay that you have at your disposal. The room was very nice. Very good parking. The availability of a breakfast for its guests is also appreciable. We would definitely go back there
Cons: Maybe, I would extend the check-in time. However, even in the absence of the staff, it was well organized
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Steps from the ocean. Complimentary breakfast. Free parking. Lush grounds. Good value for money. Loved it!
Cons: Well, the only thing I could mention is the walls are thin. And you have neighbors above (if you are on ground level) making noise just by walking around at night .
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is all about - directly at the beach.
Cons: The rooms are very small - if you are using the sleeping couch you can not get around anymore. Our room was very dark and in that way not very welcoming. Some more variation for breakfast, e.g. some cereals, would be nice. There are no TV in room, but also the group room with TV is closed in the evening.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is right next to the beach, but, so are most other hotels.
Cons: As in other reviews, noise travels easily to other rooms. Even a normal conversation will be heard. This disturbs other guests who will complain or knock loudly at the door that is common to adjacent rooms. So basically you cannot make even a little noise from 10 pm to 7 am. I would not stay here again even if it was a good deal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room. Great location.
Cons: Room could have used dining utensils for eating in.
7.4 Good
Pros: Breakfast is nice (tons of fresh fruit), great beach access, well maintained facilities, quiet, family friendly.
Cons: No AC, paper thin walls so you can hear your neighbors snore (or worse), a little light on amenities (no TV, Wifi is slow and flaky), cellphone signal is bad (AT&T) although that isn't their fault. They call themselves boutique, but i'd call them barebones.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach, beautiful grounds, residential setting.

Pros: The bed is Tempur-Pedic and very comfortable, right in the beach for great price, clean, complimentary although limited breakfast, friendly staff. Nice to have a/c and option of using fans and/or open windows to vent.
Cons: Wish there were phones in the rooms. More instructions about the property, where to get Beach chairs, rent umbrellas for the beach, etc.. Also maps of property and how to get to Kapalua beach

Cons: The beds are too soft.

Pros: The view from this property is amazing and it’s right on the beach which is even better. They have a lot of beach related amenities including towels and chairs.
Cons: There are no TVs in the rooms, the weird hours of the front desk and housekeeping can be annoying, the pullout mattress in the sofa bed was stained.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was allowed to check in early, the one bed room condo had 2 bathrooms and nice kitchen and living room. Beach and pool few feet from bar on site
Cons: The elevator was a single that was slow with same elevator used by staff for bedding etc.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a really great stay here. The room was very clean, nice, with a lot of light. Ocean view was amazing! 1) A kitchen had everything you need - all the supplies, all the small appliances. 2) The beach was really great, near the pool.
Cons: The only thing that we didn't like - we had ants in our kitchen from the first day. In their "welcome papers" it was stated that you could call reception to solve this issue. However we didn't want to risk as we had a small baby with us. Another issue - they blocked a 100$ deposit. It wasn't a big problem but it would be nice to know this in advance. There was no information about deposit in their description.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Being out of the room.
Cons: The view. The noice. The bed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. My room was large enough for the 6 of us, there was 17 in our party, 2 rooms in bldg 4 and 1 room in bldg 1 but the resort is small enough that going from bldg to bldg is easily accessible. The pool/ pool area was a great size and having a beach was a plus. The sunsets are AMAZING from this area.
Cons: Only 1 of the 3 rooms we had was air conditioned and even that wasn’t large enough to cool the room down comfortably. In their defense, it was unusually hot here and they provided extra fans to help keep the unit comfortable.
