10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was well situated in the house with a lovely front-facing view over the garden and fields. The location is part of The National Trust area so has beautiful surroundings. The house is full of character and charm and was comfortable and well maintained. A decanter of sherry was a nice touch to welcome us to our room. The hospitality was great and David and Janice were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was one of, if not, the best we have ever had. It was a hearty meal and we could have had more if we wanted to. This alone is worth the trip so compliments to The Chef.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This charming rustic farmhouse was everything we needed and more for some quiet R&R. We had two rooms, bringing along my mother in law and partner and we were looked after superbly. Breakfast was amazing! My husband and MIL both suffer with mobility and so being right next door to the lovely country pub was a wonderful bonus. We had the garden room and one at the front of the house with a HUGE bed. Lots of toiletries and a modern, extremely clean bathroom made my day! It snowed whilst we were there which made it all the more magical. Fantastic thank you
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to a pub. Cosy warm and clean. Lovely touch of sherry and Christmas cake in the room . Fantastic breakfast . This was our second year would definitely recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting convenient to Dunham Massey where we saw the Christmas lights, even better when our hosts told us about the shortcut! Comfortable room, lounge if you wished, beautiful breakfast, friendly hosts.... couldn’t have asked for no more... thank you for a lovely stay, see you again next year... !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Greeted on arrival. Room spacious, clean and tidy. Staff knowledgeable about local area. Breakfast was first rate, plentiful, well cooked and hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was fantastic-warm, welcoming and attentive yet not overbearing. The property has a lovely country feel to it, cosy and homely, plus we appreciated the little extra touches such as a slice of Christmas cake each in our room as a treat with our brews. The breakfast isn’t far the best we’ve had anywhere, that alone would have us returning time and again. Thanks for a great stay!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, nothing to much bother and very helpful
Cons: Nothing not to like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely BnB with really lovely couple running it from the moment you arrive. Perfect location for us as we were visiting Alton Towers. Breakfast 10/10, only one minor grumble, WiFi was a bit slow but other than that excellent stay and we would stay again if in area.
Cons: WiFi but slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were very friendly and accomadating. We will definitely be back
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts. Great quiet location with town only a short walk away. Parking was good and readily available. Tea & coffee facilities. The annexed layout means you have a separate entrance to the owners which makes it feel much more like a hotel we didn’t utilise the games room or garden but for entertaining children you might find these really handy
Cons: Shower was unpredictable with regards to temperature. Maybe not great for allergy sufferers - this is clearly marked a pet friendly guest house which I totally failed to spot (not a problem for me but my partner did suffer during our stay)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable accommodation... close to Alton Towers .. owners are amazing as was the breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean friendly excellent breakfast and was well looked after thankyou
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, plenty of parking, delicious breakfast and plenty of it! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: My bed was quite hard but its what you're used to I guess. Shower was electric with low pressure.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best night sleep I have ever had!! I wanted to strap the mattress to my back and take it with me. Highly recommended
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stuart and Jill made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely, a good start to the day as me and my family went to Alton towers. Location was good however the distance is a good 15 minute drive from Alton Towers and not 5 minutes as some reviews suggest. Overall a lovely stay, and likely to book again.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable and could have done with a bigger duvet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Loved everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at the B & B twice for a total of 15 nights. I was visiting from NZ to see my daughter who was staying just down the road. Lovely spacious room with comfy bed and good size ensuite. Liked the desk so I could work on my laptop in the evening. A lamp on the desk would be a great touch. The room was very clean and warm. Would stay again if I’m in the area. Melinda was very friendly and accommodating. Easy to get in contact with using what’s app.
Cons: Liked the room and B&B overall. Didn’t partake of the breakfasts as I had friends a few houses away where I went for breakfasts. Would have been keen though to have a small fridge in the ensuite room for a continental breakfast and to hold snacks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hosts who have gone above and beyond to help with accommodation for myself and my dog Poppy. Lovely quiet homely feel and the beds are extremely comfy for a great nights sleep. Not had breakfast yet but i'm sure it will be well prepared and tasty.
Cons: Nope!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was impeccable, welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: The traffic noise and coffee, (but I took my own!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not to far from Airport and in a nice area for a really cheap price.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A peaceful 2 nights stay at Heatherlea. I like to be left alone to get on with work & really loved the idea that you don't have to pay for facilities that you don't use. Brought my own food for one night & it was useful to use the microwave outside the rooms to heat up my own food, Crockery, cutlery & sauces all provided. On the other night, I walked to the local shops, takeaway chinese, curry, pizza, kebabs, burgers & a convenience store to buy some milk. Great addition of a fridge in the room & lashings of complimentary tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Everything was so clean, it looked like new. Slept like a log on both nights as it was just so quiet. Will be booking again without a doubt.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Ample Parking. friendly and helpful staff. My single bed had Ensuite. Had tea making capability.
Cons: Breakfast was not even an additional option. But to be fair there were places around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good size, clean and friendly host
Cons: Bathroom or rather shower room could have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: our room was spacious and the owner had thought of all the finer details, it was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and homely. The furnishings were of quality. The owner listened to our requirements of where to go out in the evening and was happy to help us. Would stay again.
Cons: There were no negatives for us.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: We choose this place so we were near to the airport for a long haul flight the next morning so sleep was very important, unfortunately we didn’t find out until going to bed at 11.30pm that the mattress was in fact broken !!! We couldn’t contact anyone so just had to try and make the best of it, it had been covered up with a mattress topper but when pulled back there was a very old mattress that had completely collapsed and was dirty and very old!!! I didn’t slept and it ruined my flight, we were also told although there was not breakfast there would be a fruit bowl and some snacks available in the morning again simply not true, it was also difficult to find in the dark and was not that close to the town, I contacted the owner who has kept promising to come back to me but after 3 weeks I can clearly see she has no intention of dealing with the problem, it’s shameful to rent a bedroom with the bed in this state!!!

Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location Style Decor Rooms
Cons: Bar staff was shocking service. Took money twice and had to chase drinks 3 times, didn’t get any change back once. Carried our wine under his armpit. No WiFi working for 2 days which isn’t good considering business trip. Were not told breakfast times and were lucky the kitchen served us still. Over charged us by £30 and couldn’t work out how to do a refund

Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay. I prefer staying here rather than my daughters beautiful flat which was bought outright by me!
Cons: Thee only thing is, the pillows. I need a very slim feather filled one as the current pillows cause me neck pain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oddfellows on the park is a beautiful place well worth a visit. Close to the Airport and could be used for all sorts of occasions. Wonderful staff and surroundings quiet, lovely and friendly. Loved my stay⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
7.0 Good
Pros: We enjoyed our two nights at Oddfellows on the Park. The hotel is in a very relaxed setting. The staff are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable.
Cons: The reception area is open plan, so the room at the top of the staircase No 22 (which we stayed in) at times attracted noise. We found the layout of the room slightly odd as there was no privacy door from the bedroom to the bathroom only a thin frosted glass door leading to the toilet.

Pros: Nice and spacious room. Really friendly staff.
Cons: Unfortunately, the room was too hot at night and even though they provided a fan, it was still too hot and the fan was too noisy. This caused us to lose quite a bit of sleep and since my partner had an important appointment early next day, this was quite annoying. The screen on the radiator was also really bright and we couldn't figure out how to dim the light. I had to put my coat over it to stop the light from annoying us as we slept.

Pros: Attended a function, golden Anniversay.. all the staff were excellent, very attentive, professional as well as friendly. Unfortunately cannot quote names as there were too many who gave excellent service. I wish I had left the function earlier as my bed was so comfortable! But then I would have missed a great party!
Cons: The fruit selection, particularly the melon, watermelon great, Galliano, at least i think it was Galliano, was like wood and tasted the same. The sausages in the hot buffet were pretty dismal. Having now made my moan, an excellent selection on various pastries, good selection of cereals, orange juice was great and coffee, a nice one of that, was brought to the table regularly by the pleasant staff.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location within walking distance of the village. Nice new reception area from our last stay, Lovely staff.
Cons: Very small room this time but still comfortable. Did get rather noisy in the mornings, think it was kids running about. To be fair we haven't experienced this on previous visits.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: beautiful garden, close to village with good restaurants, excellent service
Cons: small room. no air conditioning. musty smell in room
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely welcome Boutique hotel Great room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for us; good service!
Cons: Rooms in the small side...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for us and the village centre, lovely building, warm and efficient welcome and check in. Lovely room and bathroom, beautiful decor, comfortable bed. Nice little touch with it being Christmas Day - personally written Christmas card and a box of nice chocolates in the room for us.
Cons: When we got to the room to drop our bags we found it to be unbearably hot, we turned the radiator in the bedroom down to the lowest setting and opened one of the windows slightly. On returning a few hours later it was still far too hot. We opened the 2 bedroom windows and the 2 bathroom windows wide. Eventually the room reached a temperature where we could sleep but only just. It’s a crazy thing to call a complaint - especially in the winter but it could so easily be dealt with. Also in the room we occupied the walls and ceiling seem to be badly insulated against sound. We could hear noise from other bathrooms early in the morning - was a little disappointing for this calibre of hotel. Other than these comfort issues we found the property and staff to be extremely good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Set in a scenic location.
Cons: Really small room.. disappointing overall stay. No atmosphere considering it was New Year’s Eve. Awoken by cleaners banging around, hoovering early hours above us. Paper thin walls and ceilings hence heating toilets being flushed, doors being opened and closed, tv’s. when spoke to reception it was brushed off due to it being “an old building” and “usually cleaners don’t start that early” Not much of an apology. We would not stay here again. Expensive bar too..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities and staff .
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is really good. The bathroom was clean and looked reasonably new.
Cons: It was so hot!!! We tried turning the heating off in our bedroom, which didn’t work, so we opened the windows, only to have cigarette smoke driving in as members of staff took there cigarette breaks outside our bedroom window- not good! It was New Year’s Eve and the bar had hardly any stock and there was only one member of staff serving.
