8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big clean room Super pool Really nice staff

7.0 Good
Pros: My room was very nice
Cons: Food! What happened to the food? No system, sandwich beyond poor!
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Pool and breakfast
Cons: Nothing was good in this hotel. We’ve been to 5* hotels before and really wanted to relax at this one but we were so disappointed. We booked one single and one double rooms and paid £200 for a night here. If you ask me this is too much for what they can offer. One room had another building’s wall view and the furniture seemed older than my grandma. The bathrooms had cracks everywhere. Yellow walls and full of spider webs and cracks everywhere. No bath robes and slippers for the pool which was very poor for a 5* hotel. When we asked for bath robes the pool receptionist said they can’t offer them to us unless we pay for a massage with them which was so unfair! At the check in the receptionist did not told us which way should we take to the rooms and we had to follow a whole maze carrying the suitcases even if they had a shortcut until the rooms. No information about breakfast times or the WiFi charges and when we called the reception nobody answered. Some maintenance man started to name knocking noises around 1am and woke us up. To sum up this was our first and last experience with Hilton. We really hoped that this will offer us a nice and relaxing atmosphere but everything was so wrong. So disappointing....

9.6 Excellent
Pros: As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Tom (reception manager), he was so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The trip was for my birthday and my husband phoned the hotel to arrange flowers and chocolates for me and Tom organises this.... Thank you Tom! He showed us to our room and made sure we were happy, the room was beautiful with a 4 poster bed and jacuzzi bath!!!. Luke, who served us in the bar was so friendly and welcoming, made us feel as though we had visited many times. The staff in the Milton restaurant were also very charming and my husband organised a birthday platter, which they kindly brought out wishing me a happy birthday! It’s was a lovely overnight stay and we will definitely be returning at some point. Thank you all ❤️ps: it was very comfortable but we both suffer with bad backs, so almost hotel beds aren’t great for us but not the hotels fault and we never mentioned it as everything else was lovely!
Cons: Nothing

Overview Reviews
Located in Wokingham, The Emmbrook Inn is within a 15-minute drive of Ascot Racecourse and Madejski Stadium. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: For £49, a nice, spacious double room with full English breakfast included is incredible value. The landlord was really friendly and the breakfast was cooked to my personal liking (ie crispy bacon, not the flaccid horrible stuff). The bed was comfortable too.
Cons: The bathroom doors got stuck on the floor as I opened and closed it (Room 12 if anyone is looking to fix it) and the Wifi code didn't work. Very minor gripes considering the value of the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place owners and staff are very welcoming and could t do enough
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome on arrival. Spotless room. Shortbread biscuits welcomed after a long day and great to have a mug for drinks. Great food available for evening meal - really tasty. Breakfast tailored to what you want. Nothing a problem. Love that it is a local pub as nice atmosphere and people friendly and chatty. Such good value and home from home. Plenty of free parking, bath and shower option, iron and ironing board great when working away. Comfy bed. Quiet location, Great nights sleep. Even given info on alternate route when problems on the road next morning. Will definitely recommend and will stay whenever in area.
Cons: N/A
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room comfortable. Good breakfast served in the pub next door freshly made with decent choices available. A breath of fresh air compared to soulless chain hotels. Great friendly atmosphere in the pub, with good food available.
Cons: Shower water hot enough but flow a bit unpredictable
7.0 Good
Pros: Local pub with separate rooms. Good atmosphere, Clean and comfortable and warm welcome. Plenty of free parking. Great value for money.
Cons: The current proprietors are leaving. The place is dependent on who s running it. The food was made with care and love. Will it be the same? The fact it is a local is what makes it unique. I hope this won't be lost when run by a manager.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The food was enjoyable and good location for my stay.
Cons: Got bitten overnight from bed bugs...…… I could have completed a dot to dot on my legs. Poor lighting in the car park area. which looked run down. Damp smell in the room.

7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful. Lovely food!
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Good sound proofing - right beside a busy road but it was quiet. Clean room and comfortable bed. Walk-in shower. Asked for a non-slip shower mat and one was provided almost instantaneously.
Cons: If the weather had been inclement it would have been rather inconvenient to have to go out of doors and across the car park for breakfast although it wasn’t far. The heating “clock” in our room and for the towel rail needed adjusting - out of our control - especially as it was February.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Very tatty shabby rooms, broken furniture, mould around the showers, cold and drafty, very disspointing. Food was just OK
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The only good thing was my stay was very short.
Cons: When I arrived I was told there was no early breakfast option till 07.30 and not even an orange juice or coffee was available before 07.30. When I went to my room there was a guest smoking in the corridor. When I went into my room it also smelled of smoke. The dressing table was badly broken and the bath room was dirty. The toilet was not clean and the shower mouldy. The bed room was only ok and very dated. I would not stay here again. And would recommend it is best avoided.

7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were very nice
Cons: Not sure if it's common but breakfast was expensive and for the price of a room breakfast should be included. Should also invest in better non feathered pillows. Pool table also had a big tear in it and was unusable.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Very Rude and lost staff members. I think they need training because they lost with whatever they job or duty is. Below what I expect, would not want to visit again in the future .

Pros: Very clean and spacious room, friendly staff and at least they were honest and explained everything about the stuffs that I mentioned above that I don't like about. So, I am happy to stay there again in future whenever I have to.
Cons: No slippers in the toilet, my partner wanted to have drinks and they eventually run out of every drinks he ordered, tried to order dinner and one of the staff said due to Covid-19 they were not able to cook some types of dishes????? So there were very few options. I don't understand but it's okay. And very difficult to find taxi or even Uber.
7.9 Good

Cons: Other guests banging doors all night so I hardly slept. Noises all night from toilets next door and heating etc.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, the staff are helpful and very pleasant, the food was good and the pool and gym excellent.
Cons: nothing
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location to city centre
Cons: Due to the virus we was made to eat in our room, I’ve never eaten in the bedroom Anne found it very disgusting. Left a day early
1.0 Poor
Pros: The property was lovely, and restaurant staff were lovely friendly and professional
Cons: The reception staff were incompetent and misleading which lead to my bank account going into unauthorised overdraft. Our party was quite large and we wanted to pay cash individually at the end of our stay. We were told that if we pay cash, the money holding on the debit card would be released back into my bank account the following day. It was not, and I ended up going overdrawn because the funds wasn't available, despite Crowne Plaza staff reassuring me that the money would be returned to my account the next working day.

7.0 Good
Pros: My room was very nice

Pros: Good breakfast and evening meal was good value and good quality. Well worth a visit. Big car park and ideal location
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful.
