Staff were lovely friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you. Lobby beautiful clean and comfortable.
Dirty rooms, hair everywhere and bed linen dirty, no food during the day despite advertising lunch, limited drinks, bar closed, literally in desperate need of refurbishment
Location for work
Very basic rooms - no plugs near where you needed them. Shower wasn’t great Restaurant had a very basic menu - would of liked to have seen more options. Breakfast - took nearly 40 mins to be cooked and there was only 4 of us in the restaurant. Not much put out as stated on your ‘buffet’ breakfast menu
The room was very nice. Chandelier and candelabras. Felt quite grand. Was clean and tidy. Nice note left on bed from room cleaner. Friendly check in staff. Gorgeous foyer.
Hallways are a little run down and smelled like a musky Indian takeaway. Noticeable breakages of lights, mirrors, bathroom tiles, etc.
The security/cctv. We had two vans broken into on two consecutive weeks. No footage from the hotel...as 'the trees were in the way and nothing could be seen!'
The location was good and it was an easy walk into town. The room was certainly clean and fairly large.
The bed creaked terribly as soon as you moved in it. The place was generally dated and the floor creaked and moved as you walked on it.
