Pros: We were in room 8 in the original part of the hotel which was fantastic. We had a lovely big terrace overlooking the 2 pools and to the sea in the distance. Just around the corner was the lovely cafe del sol bar and terrace which served great cocktails and the staff were so polite and friendly. The gardens and pools were very well maintained. The view from the roof top pool was amazing. 5 minute walk to the beach where there is an amazing fish restaurant. More of a couples hotel, not really for children which suited us.
Cons: It's not really a dislike but the breakfast room is quite dark with small windows but the food was lovely. It would be nice to get a snack at lunchtime at the Cafe del sol (opens for food at 4pm), the a la carte restaurant is open for lunch but you can not just go in there in your beach/pool clothes. There are only really 2 restaurants within walking distance so a car is essential.

Pros: The hotel is beautifully located and laid out. The Sky bar and infinity pool are great after 16:00. The pool by the restaurant is also relaxing to chill during the day. The hotel staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The breakfast is excellent and cannot be missed, with a fabulous array of cold drinks, cereals, fruits, meats, pastries, cooked breakfast etc......
Cons: The pressure of the water in the room for the shower was not ideal. Further compounded by a water outage in the area, which meant we could not shower, clean teeth, flush the toilet etc..... from the early hours of the morning until 15:00.... :-( This was not the hotels responsibility.

Pros: Loved the hotel and the facilities. Absolutely treat.
Cons: We opted for the half board last minute meal package but were not alerted to the fact that there was in fact a different menu from the a la carte for this. We didn't think to question the menus we were given when we were seated in the restaurant so consequently ordered from the a la carte and on check out, were told that we would have to pay full price. We accepted that we should perhaps have checked and paid the bill as everything else was fine. It was just a bit of a misunderstanding but I think the staff should have made a note on our restaurant booking and offered us the correct menu.

Pros: The room was lovely, spacious and overlooking the courtyard. Beds were comfortable and rooms cleaned every day.
Cons: The shower, tho it worked well, had nowhere to put shampoo soaps etc, and the shower head kept flopping forward so had to be hand held. Also the sink is very shallow so not very practical. Also they only cooked meals during the day and not in the evenings. There was also some work going on in the hotel and there was loud banging all day from 8am to 5pm one day.

Pros: The hotel is very nice and the location is excellent. Staff was very friendly. The hotel has a bar which is very handy.
Cons: The matress was a bit lumpy. The room was a bit small. We couldn't open the door from the terrace and get to the bedsit or wardrobe at the same time. We stayed in the older building a few years ago and the rooms were much bigger and nicer.

Pros: Spotlessly clean and brilliant location. Very friendly family run hotel. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Excellent double glazing as it could be noisy from nearby bar late at night but no problem if the door was closed. Good air conditioning.

Pros: The authenticity of the old building, it’s location in the town centre within the hub of the traditional bars and restaurants, friendly staff and close proximity to the beautiful beach at the end of the road. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was varied and fabulous!

Cons: We have stayed in this hotel many times. However, there is now a nightclub next door and it's open until 4 am. It is open with only about s 20% roof cover. The noise was horrendous. We didn't get any sleep on the Saturday or Sunday night. This is the only reason we will not stay here again which is sad!

Pros: As we booked late and it is high season we got to try three different rooms. All were large rooms, comfortable beds and good showers (except in the villa). The breakfast is good and the location is great if you want to be a little bit outside the village of Zahara and close to the beach. The hotel is new, modern, clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.
Cons: We stayed two nights in the villa which is separate from the main hotel. Although very new and modern the pressure in the shower need fixing.

Pros: The hotel is smart, clean and well maintained and the staff are pleasant and friendly. It would be helpful if someone spoke good English but I don't think they do. (I know, we could try speaking Spanish.....and we're learning!).
Cons: No facilities, out of meal times, to get a nice cup of coffee or tea. We returned to the hotel, around 10pm, and fancied a nice cup of coffee before retiring to bed and had to go next door, to the Melia Atlanterra Hotel (also 4 star!), to get one. There's no facilities in the rooms and not even a drinks vending machine available! Parking outside the hotel is difficult and yet they charge €10 per night to park in their underground car park. Not very helpful or customer friendly!

Cons: Air conditioning controlled from reception so room totally overheated on arrival and other times of the day. Reception Staff not in evidence at different stages. Pool on roof, it was tiny. Difficult to communicate with staff as they had very little English although to be fair that is common in the area and my Spanish is pretty non existent.

Far away from the village, so either have to drive or get a cab to find a place for dinner as restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch.

The garden and bar area has a lovely chilled vibe .We loved the town of Zahara de los Atunes which is about 3 km away,lovely atmosphere in the evenings.Better staff and little more attention to detail could make this a wonderful place.
Cons: Staff weren't very friendly, we stayed for 6 days ,except for a lady who I assumed was the manager who we met twice we never felt as if anyone cared if we were ok or even smiled at us. The older lady who served breakfast on our first few days was quite intimidating and I felt we were inconveniencing her by being there. Most of staff don't speak much English which being in Spain is obviously fine but we communicated in our poor Spanish but got nothing back to help us out when we struggled. The room was beach shabby chic unfortunately no fridge. outdoor furniture was quite grubby.

Cons: Restaurant food overpriced, with no accompanying vegetables or potato. Waited over an hour, only us three in there, when it came it was cold and disappointing. For approx. 20 euros I had two pieces of hake smaller than matchbox size, a lemon foam and 3 splodges of green goo. My family fared no better. 25 euros for 6 VERY skinny lamb 'chops '. Also without accompaniment. Staff not very friendly. NO PARKING - had to walk over 10 minutes to their sister hotel to park. No staff visible to order drinks/snacks poolside.

Pros: Fantastic location, right on the beach with expansive views of the Atlantic coast. (Paid extra to upgrade to sea view, very worthwhile). Large rooms and balcony. Good choices for breakfast. The main reason for visiting was to go the the adjoining Restaurant Antonio. This was excellent with its special tuna menu. I would recommend booking a table there.

Zahara de los Atunes has a range of cafés, bars and restaurants. The neighbouring town of Barbate is a 10-minute drive away. The popular surfing destination of Tarifa is approximately 35 km from the hotel. Cádiz, La Línea de la Concepción and Gibraltar can be reached in an hour by car.

Pros: Everything was good. The only missing thing was there were no tea/coffee facilities either in the room or the hotel. The staff were great. It would have been really nice to be able to get up and make a cup of coffee in the morning and sit out on the balcony, before having to leave the hotel.
Cons: I like a softer type of bed and the beds are quite firm, but that is just a personal preference.

Pros: The location is nice, as the hotel is located just in front of the sea. The new infinitive pool at the roof is also very attractive.
Cons: Outdated rooms with a small swimming pool, staff wasn't able to communicate in English and the treatment towards the customer felt a bit rude at times. Quality of the breakfast is terrible, low quality/cheapest products used (Not worth it) Meals (lunch & dinner) are also populated with the cheapest options available (not worth it either). You are best served eating outside.

Cons: The information on the room we booked in your booking.com website gives the impression it is a 'hotel' room. Upon arrival we discovered the room was actually in a bock of apartments accross the street. There was no lift, no shower screen, no wi fi after being told at reception there was. When I said it didnt work I was told they would contact a technician the day after.
