10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice staff, great location with amazing view, great breakfast and lunch, access to the beach (stairs down to the beach), we had a super nice room with a balcony with an amazing view
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food and views8
Cons: My room didn't have wifi
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view, the hospitality, the personal and facilities are the best.
Cons: The food menu is a little poor. It was more pleasant if the menu was more complex. With the posibility to taste more from mexican cuisine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing! The staff really nice, the view amazing and the pool unbelievable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is quiet and the views are lovely. There's a nice pool that overlooks the ocean with bird flying above. The breakfasts are super extensive and tasty. The hotel also has a lunch menu and the crepes were great! The hotel is a short walk into the town of Mazunte (5-10 min) and a short walk down a long staircase down to the beach. (The staircase is not suitable for people with mobility issues.) The access to the beach is a plus. You can easily walk to San Agustinillo.
Cons: Everything was great. We had a nice stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great clean, comfortable & friendly place with beautiful views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful with views of the ocean and balconies! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: My only complaint was that we didn’t stay long enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came in search of luxury and with high expectations. Casa Pan de Miel lived up to them and we had a wonderful few days here. Breathing views, delicious food and wonderful hospitality from Anna and her great team. This is somewhere we will return to without doubt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is fantastic, with the view from above the cliff to the beach. The whole place is really very inviting and makes it difficult to leave. The staff is very friendly and likable and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious.
Cons: You have to do some walking to the restaurants of the village, but this is due to the unique location of the place, so it is definitely worth it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Incredible place. Loved the views. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and clean. A/C was incredible. Loved the proximity to San Augustinio beach.
Cons: Would have loved if there had been a bar at the pool where we could have ordered cocktails.
Castillo Oasis - Zipolite - Building

9.2 Excellent (224 reviews)
C$ 32+
Overview Reviews
Set in the middle of a tropical palm tree garden and only 50 metres of Zipolite Beach, Castillo Oasis has free Wi-Fi connection throughout and massage services. Playa del Amor beach is 200 metres away. The rooms at Castillo Oasis have mosquito nets and fans, plus the bathrooms feature a shower. Some rooms have a terrace and sea or garden views. Just on the other side of the property guests will be able to find a variety of restaurants that serve Mexican and international food, and shops. Huatulco International Airport is 40 minutes’ drive away, while Mazunte and Puerto Angel can be reached in 5 minutes by car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, bed, and shower were all excellent, and far surpassed what you can usually expect in this price range. The host Corinna was very attentive (but not too much so), and was very accommodating of my requests and late night booking. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: I have no complaints, everything was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Corrina the host is extremely welcoming and helpful. Cute cats and dogs on property, lots of hammocks, clean and relaxed atmosphere. It is about a 5-10 min walk along the beach(the beach is very long and beautiful) to the Main Street with all the restaurant and shops however there are a few restaurants just in front of the house. There is no kitchen for guests to use but Corrina was happy to make me a coffee and always has fresh water for guests. Beautiful beach and really easy to get to some of the other near by towns such as Mazunte and San Agustillo via local collective or taxi. The water is rough but people go in to the waste. I only stayed one night (ran out of time to stay longer) but had a great experience.
Cons: As a solo traveller I wouldn't walk to the Main Street at night where there is a bit more action, however that can be seen as a bonus depending if you prefer a quiet night or not. It was great for me if you are looking for a more social experience then you probably want to stay in the think of the action. The vibe is very bohemian and the beach is clothing optional, once again can be a bonus or not depending on what your looking for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We moved from the ground floor up to the double room on the first floor. This is an excellent space. 2 Hanmocks, plenty of space for 2 or even 4 but there were 2 of us. Lots of storage, lovely bathroom, 2 fans and space to move around in private. Aidrienne has lovely taste so the windows are super cute with wooden shutters and there are cute little touches everywhere. She was so helpful to us and so welcoming we really enjoyed very much. Also, the location is quiet and brilliant. It’s at the quieter end of the beach near playa del amor... we wish we stayed longer!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Corinna and her staff are as welcoming, friendly, resourceful, cheerful as any in my experience. Corinna speaks English, Spanish and German. She helped with recommendations for food and activities. She creates a very clean, green, flowery environment and homelike experience for us.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, Design, beautiful chill out area with Hammoks. When Corinna arrived she was really friendly and even offered to drive us to the bus stop in the evening.
Cons: Owner was away during the beginning of our stay and the organization was not so good. At arrival nobody was there to check us in and we were eaten by mosquitos until I asked the lady from the store on the other side of the road to help us. Smelled a little bit like cat pee on the common area and the bathroom. Only one toilet and one shower to share and the lady forgot to refill the water so it didn’t flush properly which was a little gross. Cleaning lady forgot to put the lock back on the room after cleaning, which didn’t give us a sense of security. No chance of having a shower after check up so we had to shower naked in the common area to get rid of the sand even though nobody was using the shower at that moment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed everything, friendly and helpful owner and staff, clean, good location and a unique property within and connected to the natural surroundings. Great value for money!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a really amazing stay at Castillo Oasis. The building itself is really beautiful with lots of little design touches and details. Our room was really comfortable and the whole setting is super relaxed and it was nice to just relax in the hammocks after a day at the beach. Corinna is a great host, a really kind person and was really helpful with any questions we had. We honestly can't think of anything negative about our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere was great, chill, relaxing. Bed was cozy. Really neat design, like staying in a tree fort
Cons: Would love to be able to have a kitchen we could use.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host Corinna was amazing, as was the accommodation itself. Everything was perfect even the coffee in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Castillo Oasis was a great place to stay, moments from the quiet end of Zipolite beach. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with lovely decoration. The was a beautiful shared space outside the room for relaxing in a hammock, and the whole property has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Corinne was really helpful and kind and overall we thought it was one of the nicest places places we have stayed in Mexico.
Cons: We had a double room with shared bathroom. The bathroom and toilet were downstairs which was a bit inconvenient, but not a big problem - it wouldn't stop me staying there again.

Pros: Staff was great, very kind. There is toys for kids, our son really enjoy it because we're travelling so he did not have so many toys. There is a restaurant, and It's just a front the beach with loung chairs, each room had his own hamac so you can spend all day here just doing nothing.

Pros: Excellent and helpful staff. On the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, attentive service, location right on a beautiful beach, solid food and drinks-- we would definitely return, particularly to stay in the terrace room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the fans and the shower, plus the mosquito net around the bed. Breakfast was good value for its cost. All the staff was great!
Cons: The only things I disliked were things Posada Mexico can't control: 1) some weekend nights, the hotel next door played VERY LOUD reggaeton until 3am. 2) Also, it was SO HOT day after day.....heat index of 105 degrees fahrenheit!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff who looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Amazing fresh food!!
Cons: Poor wifi service in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. It’s very comfortable and I feel safe. I will defiantly be back to this place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. There was a small problem with the room but it was fixed immediately. I got to check in very early the first day. My room was directly on the beach. Food at the restaurant was delicious.
Cons: Breakfast should be included in the price of the room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is just the place you’re always looking for
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to the water. Private beach. Spa services available
Cons: Active construction during our visit and lighting was very low. Unable to read at night.
7.9 Good
Pros: The restaurant !!
Cons: The smell and noise in some parts of the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful and had a great view. The bed was super comfy and the whole place was very clean. Being so close to the sea was amazing. The food was incredible and so were all the staff. At night it’s so romantic!! The massage was out of this world, the yoga was great. Due to the rocks surrounding the beach it feels very secluded and private. If you’re looking for a romantic/fancier place to stay in Zipoltle I would recommend this place 100%.
Cons: Unfortunately there was construction during our stay which disturbed us every the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location , the sea .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, loved our front porch, access to yoga and the spa. The hotel is at the west end of the beach where the waves aren't so rough. The drinks at the bar are amazing.
Cons: You can't be nude on the hotel grounds/ by the pool and while the ambiance at restaurant is romantic at night, you have to be careful when ordering as some of the dishes are mediocre for the cost, but there are a lot of good options to choose.
6.7 Good
Pros: Fantastic location, best of the area, in a little calmes little spot at the endo of the beach. Restaurant at the beach is great during the day with beds and umbrellas and staff is execllent. Very good vibes. Rooms are high quality and calmed. The restaurant is everything for the hotel!
Cons: We rented a king room which unfortunaltely didnt match the photos presented in Booking. They actually show pictures of rooms that face the see, larger rooms more facilities and different and nicer layouts than what we were actually offered which was very unpleasant. After presenting our discomformity to reception the man in charge asked us to leave if we wanted and offered a refund if we wanted, very arrogantly which was very unfortunate. We recommended he to categorise the rooms according to the categories they offer in booking so they avoid having clients unsatisfied with their bookings to which he didnt really care. Overall our room was fine, but yet, not what we expected for the reservation we made.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely love this hotel! It provided everything we needed-- yoga each morning, an incredible restaurant located on a beautiful beach, and a relaxing spa experience! We highly recommend this hotel and will be spreading the word to our family and friends-- this would also be an ideal honeymoon destination!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so kind and helpful. The restaurant was really beautiful!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: While this is not immediately on the beach, it's a five minute walk (up stairs if you want to take a short cut). It's a beautiful property, in dense greenery. Air conditioning worked well, staff was very helpful. Good parking. Huge room. Good shower and comfortable beds, nice bedding. And very pet friendly! A few minute walk to town and some good restaurants and bars.
Cons: Of course, we would have loved it on the beach - but we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: Option of a mosquito net in bedroom Sing to find the place by taxi .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is perfect, big, spacious, outside is quiet and really really beautiful! It is worth every cent! We totally reccomend it!
Cons: Everything was perfect, the place is stunning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful, clean and close to everything. This is our third year staying here. We just love everything about it. The staff are friendly and so so nice.
Cons: N/A
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It's quiet and embedded in nature. Big rooms and privacy.
Cons: Nothing really to complain. WiFi is not always good. And the hot water is only available for short time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I basically went here for the AC and was not disappointed - it made sure I got a good night sleep. Other than that, the place is beautiful with each room having a bit of privacy due to being in separate buildings. The place is located in a small alley but it takes you only minutes to the beach or Orale, a great breakfast cafe. The more busy parts with cafes and restaurants as well as the main street where colectivos run are about 8 minutes walking distance. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Be aware the bathroom is not totally separated from the sleeping area - being a solo traveler I didn’t mind. I found it a bit expensive compared to other places I’ve stayed on my travels but considering I got a comfy bed and a well working AC I was happy anyways.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location next to all Zipolite's best restaurants and most secluded beach! Plus Abelardo is the best host you can find anywhere in Mexico!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful comfortable rooms close to beach, a short pleasant walk. Staff is very kind and attentive Speak just a very little bit of english Good to have a Spanish ap
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like The water in the shower is on the cool side but definitely usable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms and host! Quiet (except for the roosters next door!) lovely dogs.
Cons: The toilet could be more private!! And more coffee!!

7.5 Good
Pros: I’m lactose intolerant so I couldn’t eat the croissants. The continental breakfast should include different items.
Cons: Food was a little slow.
6.7 Good
Pros: the location is amazing, but it has little to do with the hotel itself ;-)
Cons: wifi mostly doesn't work.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location and by far the best beach lounging area amongst all the other hotels. Clothing optional was wonderful! The mosquito netting provided great cover during the evening. Food and drinks were excellent.
Cons: The room is a bit dark but if you don't plan on staying inside much, it's not a hassle.
5.4 Okay
Pros: ok
Cons: Verry small suite
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff here was truly the highlight of the trip. Andres, Ana, Mitzi, Andrea, and Angelica all were so kind, helpful and made sure our every need was met. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the people are at Hotel Buda Mar. the hotel is in a great location, clean and beautiful.
Cons: Leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice! Love this place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Buda Mar was a wonderful place to relax, I feel like I could have stayed for weeks. It's definitely one of the nicest spots in Zipolite, with clean comfortable rooms all arranged around a lovely, quiet pool. The huge, shaded, comfortable loungers on the beach at the front were the perfect spot to relax. One of the highlights was the super friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant / bar, which also serves great food. Location was perfect too. One thing to note when booking is that it's still referred to under its old name Posada Buena Vida on Google Maps & TripAdvisor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: The WiFi for my online teaching class was bad so I had to cancel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best part of this is the location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room (H3) right on the beach, and the pool and day beds available for use throughout the property. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, despite our limited Spanish. We'll study harder for our next visit! The week before our arrival, Ana called me to confirm our travel details. I've never had this type of communication from a vacation rental, and it really put my mind at ease for our first visit to this area. Ana was always available to answer any questions we had during our stay. The location is the best on the beach and everything about the property felt very safe. I'll miss the sound of those crashing waves and the lovely smiles of those cleaning ladies each day. The morning coffee and chocolate croissant were a nice touch too!
Cons: My only complaint would be regarding the plastic water bottles, which I know is not restricted to this property alone. It would be great to have a large water jug/dispenser in each room with some glasses or refillable bottles so that guests don't have to purchase water bottles and continue to contribute to the world-wide plastic problem.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful! The views were incredible and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the little balcony with the hammock and chairs. The food was also delicious, and the staff was great. The best surprise was that there were yoga classes in the hotel three days a week!
Cons: I didn’t love the street it was on. It was essentially a dirt road and took about ten minutes to walk to town. Minimal street lights so super dark at night. It also would’ve been helpful to know that they lock the main entrance at night and that you have to use a different entrance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dorian the manager was amazingly accommodating! He spoke English, French, Italian and Spanish. Very cheerful and friendly!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing pool, friendly staff, great rooms, nice food, nice yoga location

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views from our room. The location is great and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tranquility at its best! Prior to our arrival, Soloman (the manager) was messaging us and guiding us from the airport into this beautiful place. So helpful and true. What a gentleman! This is a special property in a special place! You feel like you are in a lovely home with a full staff, not a hotel. The grounds are gorgeous with artistic touches abound, views incredible, location perfect. Just a few minutes from the intriguing town of Mazunte, nearby yet perfectly removed! If you have physical disabilities it may not be the best choice for you as it’s built on a steep hillside with meandering paths and lots of stairs. I can’t say enough about the chefs abilities! Try the Salpicon and Shrimp tacos de Gobernador. Enjoy! We did ❤️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent pancakes... And very good recommendations by Carlos in where we should go... Hire a scooter when you arrive if you can. Makes getting around in the heat much easier. And more fun. Best fish tacos at la Ola...
Cons: I got bitten by sand fleas quite badly... Use spray before you go to the beach.
7.5 Good
Pros: Zoa Hotel is a jewel, amazing views from the room. Beautifully designed, staff is amazingly friendly and caring (even though we did not speak Spanish they took great care and fulfilled every wish-google translate helped. If you have not booked in advance and booking.com shows that it is fully booked, give the owner a call. Dinner is amazing- best in town. Prices for dinner and drinks are very moderate - not too expensive.
Cons: We paid 333€ per night without tax, which felt a to be bit too much. We got upgraded to the honeymoon suite which has the best views. The bathroom is open in the room which is amazing-however, the toilet is only separated from the room by half a door which does not make it „private“. The doors and windows do not close 100% and give mosquitoes a chance to enter. However not a problem as the aircondition is very comfortable and can be set to a temperature/fan speed that is not too chilly during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautifull place, excellent for couples, if you like quite places this is the right for you
Cons: meaby the price

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Zoa hotel is absolute paradise! We had the most fabulous 2 night stay here. Everything is what we could have wished for and more. The location is perfect with amazing views. We booked the honeymoon suite and it was well worth it. The pool and facilities were amazing and the hotel will always go the extra mile for you. The service was incredible and the food was the best we had in the area and our entire trip. Could not recommend enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: There's no direct access to the beach
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very sparsely populated with guests. Like being a guest at a wealthy person’s personal home... amazing vistas, facilities and accommodations.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location walking distance to Zipolite yet quiet. Room was clean and had a nice view. We only stayed one night of two night reservation because the room we had was small for two people and the staff was very accommodating in providing a refund.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is really nice. The cabanas are comfortable and the ceiling fans really help keeping it cool. The bar is nice and the breakfast is good and affordable. The best thing about the property is the staff. Antonio went out of his way to help me when I found out I had lost my debit card. He helped me get some cash while the card arrived. He was super nice, welcoming, fun... he did it have to do all he Did to help me out. He’s AWESOME!!! I cannot thank him enough.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful, Everyone's was kind, good was really good, the bed is comfortable, it is cheap and you have a lot for your money.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super value. Easy, short walk to the beach. Great staff and excellent food at the outdoor bar/cafe. Would return to this place.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable bed. When the internet worked it was the fastest I experienced in the entire 5 weeks I stayed in Zipolite.
Cons: Only because of the price point do I point these out: no fridge or kitchen facilities, only one electrical outlet in the room, not very secure as the bars on one of the windows had been cut through in the recent past and not fixed. Coffee was 25 pesos per cup for basic drip coffee (called Americano on the menu) and no free refill. Location was far from the beach and up a dark road.
7.5 Good
Pros: This place is super amazing, we loved every minute of our stay there. Zipolite is the place to be! The bungallows are really nice, its 10 min walk from the beach, really quiet and gives you privacy. I recommend it for everyone who want to spend some real chill time on a mexican beach.
Cons: The staff could have been a bit more friendly
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely green space
Cons: Walk to beach and town
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff is really friendly and cabanas are cute.
Cons: There is nobody on reception after 11pm so in case you need anything you are pretty much on your own. The way to get there is super dark and alone but safe. We lost power for about an hour during the night so the room got really hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place! We stayed in one of the big rooms with private terrace. Wonderful view and lovely room. It's basic but has everything you need. Staff is very helpful and nice as well! They let us use the room after check out time. Also good cocktails!
Cons: The hotel is great, Zipolite as well - but many many naked people. We knew this in advance, but thought it would only be at certain parts of the beach. However they are everywhere, mainly 50+ males. Perhaps not so nice if you are with small children or just don't like the sight. In that case, go for San Augustillo or even Puerto Condido.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful and the view amazing. Valery was very kind and she gave us great advice about places around. A very nice room and bathroom, the bed was very comfortable and, We just loved it!
Cons: The Villa is about 10 minutes by car from Zipolite Beach.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was amazing! The breakfast and service were awesome! The hot tub was very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly!
Cons: The hot water was spotty and difficult to adjust to balance. The WiFi was very inconsistent and frustrating at times.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This location has a million dollar view! The hotel is away from the beach, but it's extremely quiet and peaceful, up on a hill with sea breezes--we liked this very much. No need for A/C. We saw whales from our balcony! Hector was such a great host, our room was cleaned every day and when we had a problem or question he addressed it immediately. He was also a very knowledgeable about the area--his English is good too!! The pool is great to watch the sunset over the ocean.
Cons: The hotel was a little farther from the beaches than we thought. At home, we hike, run, and walk a lot but it was not the distance that troubled us, it is not safe to walk the roads. They are narrow without sidewalks and cars move very fast. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the closest beaches and was true to their word, Hector was always willing to bring us where we wanted to go. There is no food nearby. But Zipolite has many restaurants to choose from. We took a taxi back to the hotel each night. Even though we loved the hotel and our room, we felt curtains in the bathroom would be a welcome improvement. At night, if you want to shower, you have to do so in the dark so you aren't seen. The hotel is very private, and it's high up, but the toilet and shower are rather exposed.
7.9 Good
Pros: We booked a junior suite on the upper level. Big room with balcony view of the ocean. Room was basic but the view was spectacular! We had a hammock and chair on the balcony. Nice way to watch the sunset. Hotel also has a pool and a jacuzzi. Location - The hotel is not on the beach. It’s a 20 minute walk. My husband and I both enjoyed the walk. If you are not into walking, a shuttle can be arranged with the hotel manager (Hector) or take a taxi (80-100 pesos). The hotel also does not have a restaurant but beer and soft drinks available at a very low cost. Breakfast can be arranged through Hector also at a cost. You will find a variety of restaurants in Zipolite. Staff was very friendly. Hector was a source of information.
4.2 Okay
Pros: staff was friendly, ......that is about it.
Cons: overall uncleanliness, dog excrement by pool area, unusable pool and hot tub, staff inability to speak any English. I am so glad i brought my own retal car, because organizing transportation would have been a huge hassle.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from the house was incredible! Also, the grounds-keeper (Sam) was very accommodating to our needs. A+ service!
Cons: Had a bit of a waterbug/ant problem but nothing serious. Tends to happen in such a warm place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For us it was the best decision to go there. It is absolutly recommendable. Villas Mykonos feels like being in a family atmosphere. The personal Samuel and Estella help with all your needs and they are always there for you at any time. Also the owner Paul is taking care of his guests in every case. There is an amazing view from the rooms and you can easily spend some hours hanging in the hammock enjoing the sea view. Go for it and have a good time like we had! Daniel, Roland, Anna
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We felt very welcome, the view from our room was just amazing. There are 2 balconies , one is perfect for a sunset and the second one is good for a sunrise. There was a free transfert to the closest beaches - zipolite, puerto angel, ectacahuite, at any time we wanted.
Cons: Everything was excellent
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hector is very helpful, kind and wise
Cons: Too farbbjki
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building and location are stunning and everyone who works there is incredibly nice and super accommodating. My partner and I arrived very late and had not had time to eat before arriving. Nai reopened the kitchen and made us dinner! The rooms were very nice and clean and the pool is a great place to watch the sunset from! They helped us book a whale-watching/snorkeling tour and gave great recommendations for food and beaches.

7.1 Good
Pros: Rustic rooms
Cons: Would be really useful if the hotel had a restaurant like other similarly priced ones in the area. It’s not the most convenient spot from where to go get meals. The two young men employed by the hotel were very kind and helpful, but for the price of this hotel I would expect more services readily available.
7.1 Good
Pros: Comfy beds, very clean, cool architecture
Cons: Bugs- there’s no stopping them

7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly, helpful owner, near the beach.
Cons: Hard bed, dark room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners are multi-lingual, love what they do, are always on site, and are helpful in a myriad of ways to the first-timer to Zipolite. Expect a simple environment, but a lot of little extras.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and I felt very safe there as the couple are so genuine in looking after you. Highly recommended if you are on a budget.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners, Omar and Gresalda, are very welcoming, kind people. Omar planned a surprise birthday party for Gresalda and invited all the guests to attend. The facilities are basic but the atmosphere very comfortable and I’ve met numerous of the other guests. There are only 14 rooms here so you get to easily know people. Hotel Teresa, while not on the beach, is close enough that you get the breeze and can hear the surf. Also, the roof terrace offers a nice retreat and the occasional iguana who passes through is quite friendly!
7.5 Good
Pros: great and nice hosts. good location in zipolite.
Cons: shower had weak pressure. air con makes a lot of noise, so you really can't use it during the night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s close to the beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach. Easy to find. The owners away very friendly and welcoming. Confy room with en suite toilet. Goodio wifi conexión.
Cons: No lock in the roomph when you are in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly managers and good location a few meters from the beach. A good bed. Fresh water. Fast WiFi.
Cons: Nothing. For the prize it was good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very sweet and it is a 20 second walk to the beach and also close to the road to catch the collectivo. It is under construction but was very well priced for Zipolite and had AIRCON which is a must.
Cons: The building was under construction so a bit dirty on the lower level (but understandable) and noisy in the day time and the bed was a bit hard.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Architecturally attractive and well layed out
Cons: Fan was not great and had a few mosquito
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a very nice stay at the cabanas. Couple things to note- the business is cash only. We had to wire our deposit via Western Union after making the booking (fairly easy to do online but still seemed sketchy.) The guy who ran the hotel was very nice but did not speak English. Overall I’d stay there again. Great views from the balcony of our room and the pool area, small, but welcoming after a long day at the beach. So many staircases to walk back up from the town and beach! Your calves will thank you for the workout post vacation! (Also note -no food provided on premises. )
7.1 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: The stairs
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location provides excellent views over the bay. The pool and reception area are nice as well, in general the look and feel of the building and furniture is the same as advertised in the pictures.
Cons: - This place requests 50% down payment before arrival. However, they don't accept payment thru Booking, Credit Card or PayPal. If you don't have a Mexican bank account this means your only way of paying is via a international bank transfer or Western Union/Money Gram. Both options are expensive and cumbersome. - The beds are extremely soft. Those with bad backs will not enjoy them. - There is no mosquito protection in front of the windows (though the beds do feature mosquito nets). - At 2PM the only staff member I could find (who was a sleep on top of the roof) claimed that there was no coffee available, I'd already seen coffee in the kitchen when I was looking for staff so I proceeded to make my own coffee. - Housekeeping did a good job at cleaning our room and bathroom, though the common bathroom in the reception area was disgusting and without toilet paper when we arrived and in the exact same state when we left. - The lock in the outside gate was broken and kept falling out of the door, leaving the door either permanently locked or permanently unlocked.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The pool could be a bit cleaner... but still had a great time
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Incredible view, absolutely stunning. Comfortable room, amazing terrace and nice pool. The building is well thought to take advantage of the location and the view. Great place to chill during the hot midday hours.
Cons: No food service available, not even breakfast or drinks, which is a strong drawback considering the location is a bit remote. There is a kitchen, but access is limited (signs say it is for authorized staff only but after asking we were allowed to use some plates and cutlery). I would strongly recommend to: 1. make this MUCH clearer in the information provided about the property before booking 2. have the kitchen opened for guests' use or at least have sets of plates and cutlery for the use of guests 3. a fridge with a few drinks!
7.5 Good
Pros: Sitting in the hammock on the balcony overlooking the view. The staff allowed us to store drinks in the kitchen fridge.
Cons: The pool could have been a little bit cleaner.
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing view from balcony, lovely pool and clean and comfortable room
Cons: The shower was barely a mist and there was no reception or staff on hand for queries
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was amazing .
Cons: It was a little treck from the main road, up some steep steps!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing sunrise view and balcony (tho was kinda small, one hammock and one small rocking chair (room no.2). Nice pool. Clean. Good mattress (but with hot plastic protector). 5 mins to C. Rinconcito for shops and mojitos. Near sunset point/beach.
Cons: Old, kinda weak, loud, floor standing fan. Weak shower (had to remove the misty spray head to just have a single flow of water like a tap).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing! You can wake up and swim every morning, then sit in a hammock and people watch from the shade. Plus, the staff are awesome. I loved chatting with Valentín every day-- he's a great host. Bonus points: this place has a pool, 3 cute cats, and in-house restaurant for all your breakfast or fish taco needs. The Wifi works, but don't expect fast upload speeds (this is Zipolite).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had an amazing time at Lyoban! The location and view are AMAZING! Everybody was kind and helpful! I feel extremely refreshed and relaxed :) Loved hanging out in the hammocks reading, and relaxing. Drinks at the bar were fair prices and I enjoyed my conversations with staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: the experience of the facilities was very good. It was clear that things are only beginning there in a new way and with new people and I was impressed in how they were managing and moving things. I can see that the future is strong and abundant due to the personalities (one in particular) behind the project
Cons: the white chairs that go with the table are super uncomfortable. The brown ones with the back reclined are much better... No wifi coverage upstairs or in my room NO PayPal facility for payment which could have helped with an unexpected and unusual issue for me while there. However a good resolution was found and agreed
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice view, good location
Cons: The place is dirty. They have 3 cats and has cat hair all over the place. The electrical system is not covered and it has bunch of outlets that are not covered. Its very dangerous for little kids. The pool is full of lime on the floor and the water is dirty. The bathrooms are shared but no type of privacy. The toilets "door" is a blanket. Its a place to be if you cant afford anything else.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hammocks overlooking the beach!
7.9 Good
Pros: location, manager on site showed us around upon arrival
Cons: The interior of room was "rustic", no door to bathroom or shower, no closet or much for hooks to hang clothes.
