Pros:Staff was wonderful!Cons:I called an hour prior to pickup to confirm my reservation yet when I arrived to pick it up there were no pickups available. We waited 2 hours and one drove in, we accepted it on the spot. It was our lucky day! The counter staff was very nice.Reviewed 11 Jun. 2020

Pros:We had to drive our rental car back to the Madison airport instead of Savannah because of flight cancellations due to the coronavirus. It tried to upcharge us (from $300 to over $2000) after I had called the 1-800 number and they said any charges would be waived. Zack at the MSN airport was a rockstar. He took care of it even though his computer showed no note in our file and he couldn’t change it in his end. He got on the phone and got it done in under 5 minutes. Much appreciation to him! Please pass this on to him.Cons:The fee up charge should not have shown up in the first place. We even brought the car back to Alamo 2 days early.Reviewed 22 Mar. 2020

BE CAREFUL OF EXTRA $200 CHARGE ON CREDIT CARDPros:Mini van was as expected and was clean. Person helped me fold seats down. Price for van competitive.Cons:Check-in was terrible, no Alamo person on site at opening, National person only one there and he made me wait until he put his signs out and other stuff before helping me. I already pre checked in online but it still required me to go inside. Not fast check in. Counter guy told me no one would help me fold seats down, no where in online reservation did it say they would charge an additional $200 on credit card. Walk to van was extra long. Return was ridiculous also. I already prepaid the entire rental but still made me go back to counter inside to remove $200 hold on credit card! Are you kidding me? Pros:It was clean.Cons:Dangerous: I had problems braking when someone cut me off on the highway, and realized something was wrong w/ the tires. I I checked the pressure and found that they were all supposed to be 33, but 3 of them were 40 and the back right tire was 26. I had to even them out at a couple gas stations after that, as the back right kept deflating. When I returned the car, and tried to tell Alamo reps what the problem is, they were preoccupied w/ me approving teh price and signing the paper. They didn't care. Annoyingly alot more expensive than advertised on Kayak: When I picked up the car I expected extra fees, but there were several surprise fees that were not included in the Kayak price. Not cool. Pros:NothingCons:I waited in line at the airport with others that also had made a reservation. One of the employees loudly let us know that they had run out of cars and that was it. End of discussion. How does this happen when you take the time to make a reservation? I ended up having to Uber late at night and then Uber the next day to an Enterprise location in Savannah. Terrible experience after a late night flight!Reviewed 10 Jun. 2020

Pros:I booked online and when I got to airport they had no cars for me. what is wrong with rental car companies (and airlines) allowing you to book when they have no cars and then having to go to a competitor and getting price gouged?Cons:THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGALReviewed 29 Jun. 2020
