I did't get a car from the category i asked on the internet reservation. I had booked a 'ford escape or similar intermediate SUV" (i have a screen capture of my original booking) and I got a Jeep Grand cherokee. That was 50 cad per day more expensive. I was threatened by the agent to cancel the reservation altogether if I continued questioning it. In brief, this interaction felt disrespectful and manipulative. The car in itself was correct and allowed me to fulfill my plans. I did my part, gave it back intact, cleaned and tank filled. But in the end, i paid way more than expected and booked.Reviewed 28 Feb 2026
