Pros: Marlagh lodge is highly recommended! It is is a truly lovely place to stay, with a special ambiance and hospitality! Robert is a fabulous host (ably assisted by the lovely Penny- sorry if I’ve remembered her name wrong), really friendly and helpful. Robert is a great cook, the breakfast was delicious, especially the warm breads and the stewed plums and good coffee, which is crucial! The decor in both the room we stayed in (the blue room) and the whole house was fabulous, so beautiful and true to the period of the stunning property. The photos can’t really do it justice. It was also spotlessly clean. Thank you so much Robert, we hope one day to return!

Cons: Tv signal cuts out
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Booked a single room but it was enormous. Very clean and comfortable too. Staff very friendly.
Cons: For some reason the scones left out at breakfast were like rocks and could barely be cut (no other issues with breakfast). My room and my colleagues room were littered with little signs warning people about being charged if evidence were found of drinking their own alcohol in the room which I found a bit much.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There were guests running about at 2 in the morning
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean and elegant, and the beds were quite comfortable. Location was good as a stopoff on the way to the Giant's Causeway
Cons: The hotel was kept brutally hot, but we remedied this by turning down the radiator itself. The hotel also has a very strict policy about bringing any outside food or drink into your hotel room, going so far as to make you sign a release form when you check-in that they are within their rights to charge you a $50 fee if they find any "evidence" that you violated this policy. I get the drinks bit, but the food thing just seemed odd. It was just a little off-putting as we have an 8 year old that is very used to some cheerio snacks during bedtime reading.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, location was good (there's not a lot you can do about that?) room was nice, kettle a bit odd as I had to move it to another table in order to plug it in!!
Cons: besides the kettle everything was good. Not cheap though

Cons: Kettle in room doesn’t fit under water tap in sink to fill it. Door was missing from wardrobe. Place just needs a wee bit of care and attention

Cons: Nothing to dislike
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, friendly welcoming staff
7.5 Good
Pros: Dinner was fantastic and then breakfast was amazing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bad start but rectified brilliantly
Cons: Pillow way too hard. TV too small.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The function room where the wedding reception was held. And the reception area. Food was excellent. But very disappointed that I didn't get staying in the actual hotel, I was in the residents away from my family and friends. I have trouble with anxiety and need to be close to people. I was so anxious that I couldn't settle in my room/never slept all night. When I booked I thought my stay would have been in the hotel. I wasn't informed about the residents part. My family/friends very annoyed as they knew my situation. They thought the hotel should have made more of a effort, as when I asked for another room they said people hadn't all booked in and they would move things around. There was a couple in our party could have done with my room on the ground floor. As my friend had difficulty using the stairs. And a place as grand as the tullyglass had no lift. My friend had suffered since she came home with having to use the stairs.
Cons: Because I was in the residents end on my own/not in the hotel with the rest of my family. As I suffer from anxiety/I couldn't sleep knowing that if I took a panic attack there would be nobody near me. As I went to phone reception for something and there was no numbers on the phone or booklets to give you nos to contact. Above the headboard was all dusty. Where the water bottles were sitting was all sticky. Bed wasn't comfortable. For the money they charge I was very disappointed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great the hotel was spotless and the room was lovely The food was beautiful and plenty of it
Cons: Price for drink could be cheaper
7.5 Good
Cons: Bathroom cramped. Did not get much sleep due very loud band beneath and our neighbours must have been having a fisticuffs. If staying again we would check room position.
7.9 Good
Pros: Sunday carvery - 5 courses consisting of a wide range of excellent choices. Excellent breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent, our little 2 year old was very sick and all the staff were helpful and understanding, especially Tori, a credit to your company and hotel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good quality food and a great range. Continental, cereals, fry up, toast, good coffee and friendly staff to help you have a good start to the day.
Cons: The laundry service seemed to be a bit of a chore, had to ask for bags and then didn't get forms so I didn't bother as I ran out of time. It would have been nice to have all the laundry paraphernalia in the room without having to chase it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to a wedding venue we were attending. Also very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing adverse
7.5 Good
Cons: I left some things in the hotel which weren't found. Thought their response was matter of fact and I had to do all the telephoning. Not once did they get back to me after many promises to do so. Would not choose this hotel again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, building, staff.
Cons: No spa or swimming pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall excellent. The Residence room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful with the food being of good quality as well. Overall a great stay and we will be back in Northern Ireland at some point.
Cons: Strangely the room did not have a twin plug socket to charge shavers/electric toothbrushes. Realistically a bit overpriced. The Residence room was too small really for the price we were paying.

7.9 Good
Pros: We stayed here for a wedding which was at the Leighinmohr House and the location of Adair Arms was brilliant, it was only 5 mins in a taxi. The beds were really comfy as well which is always a plus.
Cons: I would just say the interior would need an update, the outside of the hotel looks lovely and modern but inside is a bit more dated. Also there was limited parking at the hotel. We had to wait for someone else to pull out before we could get a space as there was a lot of spaces blocked off due to road works.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the spacious room .and comfy bed . We especially loved the bath in the bathroom in addition to the shower . It was very central to the town . Food was served all day which saved us having to find a restaurant when we arrived tired .
Cons: The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work .
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was central to everything that we needed and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was lovely both in the bar and at breakfast.
Cons: The comfort in the rooms was not as expected for the price that was paid. The rooms were very stuffy and the mattresses although reassured by staff that they were new, were extremely uncomfortable with the feel of springs coming through. We asked to switch rooms which was accommodated but the issue with the beds was the same we got to the point that we had to ask for extra bedding to try and pad it out. I was a bit disappointed by this and when staff were told it seemed like this was not the first time they had heard this complaint
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Room and hotel were clean and friendly
Cons: parking was tight. Shower curtains should be banned :( Never nice
9.6 Excellent

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.

Pros: - Good location - Nice building - Staff were amazing - Free car park - Large room
Cons: - Our room was incredibly hot and was unable to cool it down - Water pressure out of the taps and shower was poor - Breakfast wasn’t great - Beds are very very hard - No option for additional pillows etc. - Expensive for what you receive in return

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location by harbour. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Authentic, original old style hotel with plenty of character . Good sized bedroom.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Our original room was given away. In terms of cleanliness and decor, the place seemed old and haphazard: e.g. when we arrived in our room there was a dirty tissue on the floor of the bathroom, many of the doors seemed dirty and in need of repainting. Breakfast was a sad and measly affair. Overall, this hotel reminded me of what hotels used to be like in the 90's. This could be a nice hotel if it was redecorated and cleaned and the staff/management made more of an effort at hospitality.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service and exceptional breakfast
Cons: The searchlight from the Primary School opposite was a distraction to sleep during the night
7.5 Good
Pros: Only checked in then straight to a wedding. Friendly staff. Night porter, Dermot, on our return was amazing. The whole history of the hotel, the town and the Glens was fascinating. I would go back just to listen to him,
Cons: Breakfast was included but the full Irish was delivered within minutes of being ordered suggesting it was not made to order. Tasted OK but definitely dry and over-cooked. Bit of a shame.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, old charm hotel with original sash windows. Freshly cooked breakfast and friendly morning staff.
Cons: Service in restaurant 1st evening was awful. Waited ages for order and had to go to bar for drinks. Need to improve this alot based on prices and rate we paid for room. Ate out 2nd night locally for a much better service. Hotel breakfast staff friendlier and helpful. Tv in room very small based on large room .
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not a lot needs a good painting and new beds
Cons: Not a lot
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were fantastic, the breakfast service was prompt and breakfast was really good, the location of the hotel can't be faulted. We enjoyed our stay overall.
Cons: The room we were in (205) needs a bit of a facelift. The fan was full of dust so we couldn't turn it on even though it was a warm couple of nights, the windows needed to be cleaned, the blinds needed to be cleaned, and some of the light fixtures were broken. Lovely place but needs a spring clean badly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm and the view

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anne was truly wonderful and made the experience great. Breakfast was tremendous.
Cons: Everything was great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast! Not too far from Galgorm castle or from the Antrim Coast, Carrick-a-Rede Bridge and the Giant Causeway.
Cons: It was a bit tricky with one shared bathroom, but it all worked out quite smoothly as each of the guests were leaving a half hour apart.
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Bed was bit umcomforable for us both. TV was not good, some channels you could watch others not as bad sound out of TV.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was very homey inside and the hosts were lovely, kind people. We very much enjoyed our visit.
Cons: We were a little far from restaurants and town.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The landlady, Anne, had a great sense of humour. The atmosphere is very laid back, and the setting, a working farm was perfect. Its out in the wild countryside, very beautiful. I'll certainly be returning
Cons: Oh, shut up! I don't like daft questionnaires
