Book as early as possible to get a car of your choice, and don’t forget to compare the available deals by rental companies such as Enterprise, Easirent, and Sunnycars. They have their own booking points situated very close to the airport, which you can locate via the posted signs. You’ll see them at the extensive parking lot that is almost filled with passenger vehicles. The airport has a relatively large curbside serving as a pick-up and drop-off point.
Each car rental supplier has a distinct fuel policy. Beware of these policies to avoid surprises in terms of fuel cost. Moreover, when you understand the pricing, you are in a better position to choose an appropriate automobile and won’t feel overcharged. Know how much gas to pay for in advance or the amount to refill when returning the car.
When driving a car rental at Belleville Airport, IL, maintain a speed limit of 25 mph. On Belleville highways and suburban roads, abide by the 75 mph limit but watch out for signage as the traffic rules change depending on the specific location you’re driving in.
The youngest person who can drive a rental vehicle in Belleville is 21. Additional charges may apply for renters below the age of 25. For premium cars and large-capacity vehicles, age restrictions differ according to the provider’s rental policy. Furthermore, all drivers must hold a valid driver’s license. These requirements also apply to additional drivers.
The only car rental company that offers shuttle or pick-up services from Belleville airport to off-airport locations is Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Pros:Price was fair and they upgraded us when they ran out of the class of car I rented.
Cons:The rep asked for a 2nd phone number, home, spouse, parent etc, when I asked why, since I have never had any car company require a 2nd number, including enterprise, which I had just used the week prior, she stated that it was company policy and they can't rent to me without a 2nd number on file and that they wouldn't sell my info to outside companies. They only use the info to get a hold of me if they can not reach me on my cell do to lose or damage to my phone. What sense does that make? If my cell is lost or stolen, how will anyone be able to reach me? If I gave her my home number (which I do not have), and I am gone, who is suppose to answer and get a hold of me if no one is home, LOL. Her logic was so off. My biggest complaint about this policy is, why is a car company being so nosey? No one needs my mother or other family members phone numbers. I am 43 years old, I think I can handle my own car rental without someone else's phone number having to get involved. To top it off I had to wait 30 minutes for a car to be cleaned and it wasn't even very clean when we got it.

8.0 Very good
Pros:The pickup was great. The O'Fallon branch was super helpful friendly and efficient.
Cons:The williamsburg office is closed. Like until further noticed closed. I tried to call the number left on the door and there was no answer or option to speak to someone. I am still hoping I am going to be getting my 200$ hold back. I left the keys in the box like instructed but not sure how they will know.
Pros:Terrible customer service. Did not add my AAA discount. Will not adjust since they closed it out.
Cons:Best customer service. I had to call and ask for a receipt 3 times to get a simple email. Agent told me she would add AAA discount at the counter but never did and not told they could not adjust. Terrible way to let a customer down
Cons:No washer fluid. I drove 40 miles to pickup the van n it wasn't there. I had to drive back home bccthey didn't know when it would be there n drive all the way back 3 hours later. Not cool the day before a trip when I had things to do.
8.0 Very good
Pros:Vehicle got good gas mileage and was comfortable.
Cons:Whatever Hertz uses to "clean" (wipe down surfaces inside the vehicle) the vehicles stinks! To me, it smells like what schools use to spray on an area after a student vomits. (former teacher) The person who did the walk around asked, "What? You don't like that?" I aired out the car in our garage for 24 hours before I could get in and drive it with windows shut.
Pros:I rented a Nissan Versa and overall, it handled well. It had enough power for Colorado passes, but just barely. Roomy enough for two suitcases two backpacks and assorted camping gear.
Cons:Ten miles down the road the seal on the windshield began to flap in the wind; I repaired it myself. Also, the inside of the front windshield appeared to be wiped down with a soapy cloth and left to dry. I was told I could add an extra driver later in the trip, which I did, but wasn't told that doing so incurred an extra $13.50 per day fee. By that time I was nearly 400 miles into the trip (the fee was reduced with the use of my AAA card), but it was something that should have been mentioned during the initial pickup.
Cons:They did not offer pick up or drop off at the airport. The car was dirty windows were not clean. Dropped off car they had no assigned spots for Hertz cars in parking lot, and no other spots either. The car windows were filthy inside car was not cleaned prior to our pick up. The car drove poorly needed wheel alignment.
Pros:Easy and fast pick up and drop off. No hidden fees. Van was clean and ran great. No complaints Would definitely rent from Budget again!
Pros:The receptionist was bluh he didn't explain anything very little conversation/information. Not very helpful
Pros:They had good customer service
Cons:My son saw the moist cat food and touched it then put his hands in his mouth. Why do they have cat food out by their customers? That's weird.
Pros:Checking in and checking out was the quickest I've ever experienced. The car was clean well maintained and got great mileage. The staff was also very friendly and courteous.
