When I got there they said I’d have to wait 2 hours for a car, they didn’t have any. Even though I reserved one weeks ago. Instead of getting a mid sized SUV that I paid for, they ended up giving me a Chevy Malibu. I took it because I didn’t want to wait any longer. Budget/Avis person waa super rude to me & dismissive of my questions. Very disappointed.

Filled up tank -apparently it wasn’t tiptop full, but it had stopped so budget charged me $5.00 for gas. Pretty chapped about it actually. Staff was ok, but it was confusing to pick up/drop off in a tent. ? Wasn’t going to say anything about tent service but since they are being petty about gas. Travel a lot, never had as much confusion as to where to pick up/drop off and never in a tent.🤔

Pros:

The staff was courteous and friendly. I liked the fact that I had a choice of which van I could use. There were several different colors (I went with the gray with black wheels). After that the check out was smooth.

Cons:

The airport location I picked it up at (Lambert-St. Louis) the Enterprise signage was not very prominent so it was little confusing finding it.

The reservation was for 7pm drop off but the office was closed. There were no instructions and it took forever to reach a customer service agent over the phone. In the end I had to leave the car 7pm on saturday and assume liability for it being parked there unattended until they opened again on Monday. Would never rent from Hertz again. They blamed Kayak for not making me aware.

Terrible. Was charged smoking fee and I dont even smoke. The car was disgusting when I picked it up but they only had one full size option and there were long lines to get it changed - so I kept it because we were in a hurry. We had the car one day, i do not smoke, but charged a significant smoking fee. Working on it with hertz but its the last time i am renting from them.

The first car I was given had a problem, likely the belt, that was very noisy. We had it replaced, and we were given one that did not feel very stable at highway speed. Also, the lady at first pick up was a bit of a bully

I never got the car. I was unaware that I needed a credit card to pick up though I was able to book with a debit card. They told me I was not able to cancel and that my money was not on their hands and that that was the end of it.

The experience was as last time; it was excellent. Staff is always extremely friendly. When I arrived there was no shuttle. They sent one immediately when I called and I didn’t have to wait on the phone for 20 minutes to speak to a person. Just absolutely seamless.

They were closed when my plane arrived (on time as scheduled at 8:30pm). I never got a car. They were unapologetic that not informing me there would be no airport pickup or way to get the car I reserved left me stranded and scrambling to find a rental car last minute. I will Never do business with Dollar again. I suggest removing this Dollar store from your lists so this does not happen to anyone else.
