Pros: Breakfast not so ;;good. Buses outside hotel to the centre was v. useful

Pros: Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, excellent breakfast, great location for access to train station and short walk into town.

Cons: I would recommend to put hair conditioner to the shower!! Also, my cloth all wrinkled and no iron to use only as a additional service.

Pros: Hotel was stunning and modern. Very clean and staff friendly. Despite hotel being at the train station and the room facing the station the room was whisper quiet at night.

Cons: Perfect location to the drain station but a bit of a walk to the centre of town. Car park entrance is a terrifying experience. Even in a little car I was nervous.

Pros: Lobby and restaurant were lovely and updated, unfortunately that's not where you actually stay.

Cons: Rooms were terribly outdated and dirty with stained carpets that goes half way up the wall... nothing like the lobby. Staff is rude. Would never stay here again.

Pros: Hotel was across the street next to train station which made it a convenient base if traveling by train to nearby cities. The staff at breakfast were super friendly. Reception also allowed for a later check-out when my son wasn’t feeling well and we were taking a later train back to Florence.

Cons: Bed and pillows were not comfortable and I had the worst sleep. Shower was only half covered so bathroom floors easily got wet and slippery. AC in the room didn’t work very well and wasn’t cool enough. Very basic 3 star hotel

Pros: The location was perfect ! The hotel was clean and the rooms are spacious with a complete bathroom. We were able to sleep with no problem, there was no noise or bad smell in the room. We were very happy because we arrived before check in hours but since there was a room available we were able to go to the room early.

Cons: When purchasing the room it was stated “comes with spa bath”, on arrival there was no spa bath, we were then given another room with a spa bath, on checkout we were then asked to pay extra for bigger room. We refused and to be fair they waved the fee. Spa bath was not particularly great anyway, the bed was 2 beds pushed together, although most Italian hotels I have stayed in are like this.

Pros: Staff were excellent! Room was so spacious and there was a hot tub bubble bath! :) Perfect location for one night in the city!

Pros: The breakfast was very good with a good selection of options. A very nice modern hotel with good facilities. Convenient for the station and a short walk into the centre of Bologna.

Pros: CLEAN and VERY WELL maintained ROOM. STAFFs @ the FRONT DESK were FRIENDLY and very HELPFUL (Thank Q). LOCATION is GREAT, walking distance to many local attractions and Bologna Centrale railway station - is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Cons: NOT a big deal BUT the CHECK-IN experience @ the front desk - NEED more staffs coverage during mid-day (taking a LOT LONGER than expected). Nonetheless, STAFFs were PROFESSIONAL and very POLITE.

Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, and we were placed in a smoking room, which we didn't even realize still existed. The room smelled disgusting, and we had to keep the window open to circulate the air...and also to cool us down because the heat setting in the room was unbearable and not adjustable.

Cons: above the lobby, hallways and rooms are in need of updates - dingy and old carpets and light fixtures.

Pros: The possibility to change booking, where Hotel showed flexibility. Room are clean and during all the stay cleaning personal worked professionally.

Cons: NH hotel in Bologna and NH hotels (e.g. in Germany) are two different words. IMHO NH Hotel in Bologna has a problem with management and there should be some changes initiated by NH Hotel Group. Staff is typically not interested to you as a guest (nobody say you Hello, you can pass near the reception nobody welcomes you, in the breakfast area staff works like with objects etc.) Internet on the 3rd floor actually doesn't exist. I complain on the first day (Monday evening) at the reception, staff was rude and he wanted to quarrel with me. I asked to speak tomorrow with the management, nobody from management showed any interest etc.

Pros: Great location on Via dell'Indipendenza (the main road between the old city & train station) making it easy to navigate when you first arrive ; about 10 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore and likewise 10 minutes walk to the train station. Friendly & helpful staff. Great value for money & would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Bologna.

Cons: I had booked a room with a sofa bed and the receptionist gave a us room without. I had to double check my booking and show it to them to have them move us to the correct room.

Cons: This hotel has one serious thing to complain about which dramatically affects comfort of staying. Its air conditioning system doesn't work at all. The apparatus in the room blew out warm air which according to hotel staff was "no more than 25 C". In all other rooms I tried to change for the situation was identicall. It was very hard to stay in the room, it was very hard to sleep in it, no relief after coming from the street, considering that temperature in Bologna during my stay was up to 35 C, etc. It's pointless to discuss other things regarding comfort of staying if basic physiological conditions aren't met. Hotel staff provided poor explanation that the problem was because of the high temperature outside. However, at the reception air conditioning was good, shops in the buildings next to the hotel didn't experience any problems, and hotel in Agrigento where I stayed last year also had no problems with air conditioning though temperature was higher than 40 C. The situation didn't improve even after temperature in the city became around 27 C indicating hardware problems. The minor issue was that on one day maid didn't change the towels and just hanged again used ones and didn't do bath accessories refreshment. Don't recommend this hotel at all despite any its advantages. Luckily Bologna is small with plenty of choices.

Pros: I liked the location and some of the staff were good also the breakfast was generous

Cons: The bed was very hard and the pillows were the worst, just exactly like rocks. The AC was pathetic, my room was like an oven so I moved to another as the porter said the AC was broken in my room. There was not much improvement so finally the third day they gave me an electric fan. Very noisy but it helped somewhat. I am returning home very underslept and with a very stiff neck from the dreadful pillows

Pros: The hotel was excellent, clean, good staff, very good breakfast. We had a corner room at the front a beautiful room The hotel is about 800metres from the train station and about the same to Piazza Maggiore so easy walking distance to all the major attractions and restaurants

Pros: The hotel is just north of the station so it is in a very quiet neighborhood but then easy walking distance to the center. The breakfast and air-conditioning were both amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and the taxi to the airport (which they reserved and arrived very quickly) was only 18 euro.

Pros: Mary was lovely and the main gentleman at the front desk was also very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The location was great for easy access via bus or walking into the centre of Bologna. The nearest amenities were also good, with a nice takeaway, cafe, restaurants and corner shop all delivering some local excellence. The hotel was also generous around check-out, too.

Cons: The room was tiny and the balcony was covered in bird poo. The air con also didn't work well and the lowest room temperature we could achieve was 25C. The room fridge was also poor; very small and not very cold. The Spa was also a little disappointing, with the shower broken and the Turkish Bath not very hot, and running out of energy if you used the jacuzzi function more than twice.
