Pros: Close to the Piazza Maggiore, friendly staff, a lovely room with a big bath tub and a very comfortable bed. After working in Lombardia for the two weeks previously, I enjoyed my night in Bologna at the hotel very much and was able to finally relax with ease here. It was just a shame I had such an early flight as I didn't want to leave.

Cons: We didn’t bother with the breakfast we needed to get to make our way to the main part of the hotel. Quite expensive for what it is, however I think it was just because it was New Years.

Pros: A great location and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: the hotel is not stylish, it has been tampered with over and over again. The room (109) was small, the bathroom was small, no complimentary water, the walls were decorated by a group of cartoon artists, which was pretty awful. The airconditioning could not be turned off in the room but was centrally regulated, from the reception.

The staff is so friendly that we had a feeling we are visiting frieds.The gentelman on the recetion gave us so much information about the city that we didn't need a guide at all.

Easy to walk into the city center and explore (20 minutes to the two towers). Modern and comfortable hotel room. We checked out in the morning but they kept our luggage in storage while we walked around town! Wonderful staff.

Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, and we were placed in a smoking room, which we didn't even realize still existed. The room smelled disgusting, and we had to keep the window open to circulate the air...and also to cool us down because the heat setting in the room was unbearable and not adjustable.

Pros: The hotel is prefectly located for visiting Bologna, not far from the city centre, with a cheap parking on the opposite side of the street. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well arranged. Our room was located at the rear of the building and looked over the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca (at the distance), which was a very pleasant view, especially in the evening. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of pastry, and some cheese and ham as well. The coffee was delicious.

This hotel had a great selection of eggs omelets fresh fruit yogurt sandwiches pizza and of course many kinds of croissants!! Te room was spacious and warm there were extra pillows in the wardrobe and the staff was polite and very helpful. They also had treats for the guests at the reception and there is a free parking place to leave ur car but the spaces r limited, maybe for 8 cars. Lovely hotel snd the price we paid very fair! 56 euros ... we ll certainty come back!

Pros: A not too big hotel conveniently located on a quiet street steps from the train station, which makes it an ideal base for one or two days trips to explore Italy off. It is also a walking distance away from the historical city centre (well, my definition of walking distance is 5 miles, so keep this in mind, though it wasn't really that far). Fantastic staff. To say they were just professional is to say nothing, because they extented services far beyond the call of duty. This is a hotel where I really found home away from home without the least exaggeration. In short, this is the place of my choice should I travel to Bologna again and I hope I will.

Cons: I had literally a lot of dust everywhere in the room. When I left something on the table next to my bed, It was covered with the dust. If you are allegic don't recommend. It is comfortable, clean, the staff are friendly and professional and the hotel is ideally located close enough to walk from the railway station and into all the historic sites that Bologna has to offer. I recommend Hotel Internazionale in Bologna.

Cons: Everything inside of the rooms and hallways look really dated. We were supposed to have a room with a view on the garden, instead we had a view at the roof of another building. There is no mirror in the room itself, only one in the bathroom. The bath is really small and cramped which made it annoying to take a shower/bath in it. The hotel did not feel like a 4 star hotel at all, neither did the personnel which seemed unprofessional and rude at times. Walking to the centrum was a little more far than we expected, at least a 15 min walk.

Pros: I wish I could give this place a better review. The room was very comfortable and they had great freebies, more than just the usual shampoo. And the breakfast is excellent (although we were there early, around 7:30), even though some others have complained about it when arriving late. However, it was over 30 in Bologna and muggy when we were there (even at night!) and the thermometer in our room was showing 29 when we arrived. There was no point trying to turn it up as the A/C is controlled by the front desk. Yikes! Never heard of such a thing before, but it's true. The temperature only decreased by a degree that first day. The second day was even worse--the A/C was "broken" and only repaired late in the day. Of course none of this matters if you happen to be visiting outside the summer months...oh yes, almost forgot. The electricity went out in our room altogether on the third day, but was taken care of promptly when we notified the front desk.

Pros: The location, it’s about 20min waking to the city center. But 5min walk to the train station.
Cons: There’s no blackout curtains (they were broken) the toilet is full of mold. You can’t control the heating yourself. The tower was full of hole!

Pros: The location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to both the central train and bus stations and around 15 min to the center. The staff was extremely polite and kind, they even prepared some sandwiches for us past midnight when we arrived from Florence after our bus was delayed, since all other supermarkets and restaurants were already closed. I strongly recommend this place!

Pros: The hotel is located quite close to the central station in Bologna
Cons: The hotel is on a main street, my room was on the first floor facing the street hence there was very loud traffic noise. The room was extremely hot. I was told by the staff that the ventilation system cannot be used until mid-April and my window was broken. When I asked to be moved to another room, I was told they were too busy. Not a nice stay at all.

Breakfast was really bad. 2 types of croissant, one type of bread and two types of ham. No vegetables, very bad, dry and cold scrambled egg. That was all.

Pros: Clean, close to train station and aerobus stop. Bologna is a small city. We walked to everywhere from the hotel.
Cons: Water may come into the room after showering. I don't know if the air conditioning is enough in summer, but it was ok for winter.

Pros: Excellent location. Just a short walk into the centre and it's very easy to get to from the train or bus station. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was cheap and decent enough for what you pay.
Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a refurb. And they could also be a bit cleaner, especially in the shower area where mould is beginning to show. The rooms are definitely not soundproof as we could hear everything going on in the corridor and of course the traffic outside. No simple facilities such as a glass to drink water or a kettle to make tea/coffee. The windows need repaired or replaced as quite a significant amount of draught and condensation appeared.
