Arrived at the pickup location waited 20 minutes in line and then the agent was completely disinterested in providing any kind of customer service. After about 10 minutes she finally told me that they didn’t have any cars available. Approximately 5 minutes later she said she had a car available but not the class I had booked. I booked a SUV and she only had a Camry for the same rate. I accepted the vehicle. Then I went out to the car and the vehicle was disgustingly dirty. Exterior was barely washed but the interior was even worse. Stains all over the seats and horrible smell. The worst part was the registration had expired in 02/2026, this was 07/2026. Completely unsafe and unacceptable. Will never rent with Budget SDF again.Reviewed 24 Jul 2026

I wanted a van and really needed a van. I got lucky that avis had a 7 passenger car because my only other option was a 5 seater or passenger van. Had that happened i would have been furious. I should not be worried about getting the vehicle i need when I book it in advance.Reviewed 17 Apr 2026

I rented the car and couldn’t pick it up when I arrived. Fortunately, I didn’t need it until the following morning. When I went back the next morning, the person who was working there said that the person who had worked the day before I was telling lies, and there was no guarantee I could have the car then either. As a business, this kind of behavior on all ends is unacceptable.Reviewed 6 Feb 2025

I was so thankful to book a low cost, last minute rental. However, I was redirected from the budget line to the Avis line, there was one employee which took 45 minutes to get to the one employee there. That’s unfortunate but understandable. Regrettably, I was then redirected to the “fastbreak” location downstairs which had an additional 45 MINUTE wait. Signage next to the sign mentioning going to Avis would be helpful to avoid much of this situation in the future.Reviewed 17 Jul 2024

This was the SDF airport Budget rental counter. They told me I was unable to rent without a credit card on hand. Fair, I didn't know that was necessary. They then directed me 10 miles away to a Budget location they said could take my debit card. When I arrived, the second location was filthy, stinky and creepy. The clerk there told me they couldn't take debit card either, and the airport clerk probably told me that just to get rid of me. Because there were no accommodations or ways for someone without a credit card on hand to even consider renting a car, we had to call me elderly mother to drive 5 hours to pick us up so we could drive another five hours back to Pittsburgh. Miserable experience, I will never even try to rent from Budget again, and I will likely never rent a car again at all.Reviewed 9 Mar 2024

They left early at the desk early than usual and I had a reservation. Enterprise accomadated me so they were equal in price and service so I’m switching.Reviewed 2 Jan 2024

The car we rented was not clean and smelled bad. There were pretzels and French fried in a storage shelf of the console.Reviewed 25 Oct 2022
