Eleven miles from Banff, Canada the Basecamp Resorts Canmore is around a mile from Lady Macdonald Mountain and is in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. It is close to the Bow River and two miles from Quarry Lake. Just 10 miles from the Banff Gondola and Banff Center, it is an ideal spot for those seeking to enjoy the many skiing and even summertime activities available. Just an hour from three major ski areas, travelers are also minutes from the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies and more. The Calgary International Airport is just over an hour or so by car.

Unique in its design, the property features a seemingly endless list of activities to enjoy along with great amenities. Depending upon the season, there is cycling, hiking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, golfing and skiing options (most will require additional fees). There are also lots of outdoor spaces and communal spaces on the premises, including the hugely popular rooftop hot tub with its astonishing views, the different dining and outdoor areas, and more. There is ample parking, laundry services, an indoor pool and more.

There is an array of accommodations from which to choose, including one- to three-bedroom suites, studios, as well as five to six bedroom spaces. All but the studio suites feature living rooms and communal kitchen and dining areas that enhance the experience of fun and relaxation throughout a stay.
