Overview

The Virginia Hotel overlooks the New Jersey shoreline along the southernmost tip of the state. The hotel offers a classier alternative to some of the more average accommodations in the area. It features some great amenities and comfortable rooms while the dining facility offers award-winning service.

Like so many other buildings in the area, The Virginia Hotel was restored in 1879 following a devastating fire that had rampaged through the town. The hotel underwent further renovation in 1986 to give it a facelift and make it more suitable to the needs of the modern traveler. It has since been featured in many reputed travel magazines as one of the best hotels to stay at in the mid-Atlantic region.

The Virginia Hotel houses 24 rooms for guests, making for a highly intimate environment with an ideal blend of class and modern looks. Every guest room has a unique aspect to it, a distinct charm, characterized by the sumptuous finishes, fabrics, and comfortable furnishings. The rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box and flat-screen TV as well as bathrobes and a refrigerator.

Guests staying at The Virginia Hotel can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast. They can also try the award-winning service at the Ebbitt Room, which has American cuisine on its menu for dinner. During the off-season, the restaurant opens only for a very short period.

The Virginia Hotel offers complimentary access to the beach for its guests during the summer months. This also includes free provisions such as loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels. Complimentary valet parking service is also offered. The swimming pool situated close-by at Congress Hall is also available for guests to use.

The deluxe facilities and amazing locales make The Virginia House an ideal vacation destination for those looking to idle away some time in a quiet, comfortable ambience with ultimate relaxation.

Guests consistently praise the Virginia Hotel for its outstanding service, with staff described as helpful, attentive, and professional. The location is highly rated for its convenience and proximity to attractions. Breakfast is frequently highlighted as delicious and varied. However, several guests report issues with noise, particularly from nearby restaurants and kitchens, and some found certain rooms to be small or lacking privacy. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere, decor, and amenities like the porch and access to a pool are appreciated by many guests.
