Drivers side door stopped opening on day 2 and hertz told me to get in via the convertible top and drive it 3 hours to get a different car.

Worst experience I’ve had with a rental car company. Got there and the employee said there were no vehicles available. They did not even call me ahead of time to let me know there was not going to be a car available. Not even a message by text. Spent over $40 on Lyft to go to and from the Hertz rental location. Left with no car!
