Incredibly rude and incompetent staff members. Rent from any one else but Europcar at Nice airport.! Even the so called 'manager' was a horrible person. No customer service at all and the cars are very basic regardless of what category you book. French stupidity and the inability to reason at its best. There are many other options. The car was fine. Clean and in good shape. The pick up experience was a “strong arm” to buy insurance. My credit card covers and CDW issues, but I was forced to sign (a copy of a copy of a copy) a form that I could be on the hook for $50,000.00 (for a Nissan?) if I had an accident. I was completely shot from a long travel day, so I agreed to the insurance. It took a very long time to complete the process and it was not very satisfying. I assumed Europcar was a major player, which is why I chose them. I’ll not make that mistake again. Read the reviews!!!!Reviewed 24 Nov 2023
