The car was good and process was simple, though there was a surprise car wash free with the car pickup rental and then had to wait on the return since they thought I might have scratched the right tire rim, but it was already scratched. Hope this helps! Cheers!Reviewed 28 Apr 2025

Mandated that I accept the collision damage insurance when my premium credit card offers that insurance. I’m addition, I had the declaration form. This was not specified by Kayak or the rental company when booking the car. Third party liability was approved.Reviewed 22 Apr 2025

Hello, I'm extremely unhappy with the car rental I paid for online. When I arrived at the chosen time and location, the company didn't exist. It was a scam. I was told to go in Morgan City, 60 miles away. I had no way to get there. I then called the company, which confirmed that I couldn't pick up the car in Houma because it no longer operates there, and they told me I just had to cancel the reservation. However, by canceling my reservation at the last minute, I won't receive a full refund. I am therefore requesting a full refund of the amount initially paid for this car rental, which was not possible, as well as compensation because I was forced to find another car rental agency, which cost me more than I had planned. I also had to pay taxi fares to get to the meeting point and to go to this other agency. I am very disappointed with this bad experience.Reviewed 28 Mar 2025

Do not use Kayak or Expedia!!!! Never got the car!! Called the number on the Expedia reservation form for them and got an out of service message. Called the number from the sign at the airport and got dead air and static. Looked them up on line and called that number, also not in service. Went to their website and they don’t have the US listed as a place they rent cars from. Cannot find a number for Expedias customer service, everything I tried sent me to their FAQ page with no way to contact them. Their live chat function didn’t have a live person and they never returned my request to be contacted. Next we tried Kayak customer service since we reserved through this site and can’t get anybody to talk to. Both Kayak and Expedia websites say they are not responsible for refunds as you are booking with the actual rental company. Never got a car, never got a customer service rep to contact me. Had to go into the airport and get a car from Hertz. Don’t use a third party reservation site to book. Find the deal and go to the actual website. Pay the extra $5 and actually get the vehicle. they don't accept most major insurances, and will make you pay at least $50/day extra to use theirs. It's about a 5 min tram ride from the airport, so plan accordingly. I wish i just paid a bit extra and rented from someone at the airport with more upfront pricing.Reviewed 12 Feb 2025
