9.5 Excellent
Pros: The best place I've ever stayed, and I can't help to call the hotel to be "our home" during the stay. my husband and I enjoyed so much. Room is very fancy and comfortable, everything is fantastic, i.e. bed, sofa, bath, fire place, garden, breakfast etc. the room is definitely my dream place. the owner is very friendly and hospitable, he introduced everywhere in the hotel, recommended park and beach which is very nice, also managed to help me get the sheet in very shot time. It's a great memory in our honeymoon.
Cons: Everything is perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was exceptional, and the coffee/tea and dessert offerings through the day were wonderful. Having the ability to reserve the hot tub made it much more comfortable than places with common area hot tubs. The hosts are so helpful in making references for great restaurants and hiking trails - all recommendations were excellent!

Pros: Terry was extremely nice and the Mill Rose Inn was beautiful. No one could wish for anything more. It was quiet and relaxing. One day we did a wine tasting. In the evenings, we walked leisurely thru the the town and both nights had a wonderful dinner. We returned to the Inn to have a delicious cake dessert. It was a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary.
Cons: The first two days drizzled and were not able to appreciate Fitzgerald Marine reserve but the walk thru the Cyprus made up for that.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The gazebo/spa experience was exceptional! The bed was literally one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in!! Terry was very hospitable and I would like to return one day.

Pros: A quiet respite, lovely setting and decor, great staff, nice setup for Happy Hour and breakfast, truly a perfect spot for us. Could not have been better. We heard the surf the whole time we were there ( RIGHT in front of us). THANK YOU correction:?We ended up staying a second night!
Cons: Not one thing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach front
Cons: Been here before and this time room was near Lobby wasn’t thrilled about that
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the view I love the comfort of the room I loved the sound of the ocean all the food that was offered breakfast hors d’oeuvres happy hour there was a pleasant stay for my friends and I except for my accident which had me quite scared since I was going to Stanford the next day to go get a work up for radiation treatment in my brain.
Cons: The cheap plastic toilet seat was broken from the get go. I should’ve mentioned it but I didn’t. One morning I went into the bathroom early and sat down on the seat and it went sliding one way and I went sliding the other way and hit my head On the corner of the bathtub tile shelf I’ve got sore arms from trying to grab myself . I’ve got a scrape on my back from the toilet seat breaking almost intoned parts...... the back part of it.I’m surprised I didn’t get a concussion. I bled all over the place and laid down with your towels and kept pressure on my head until 8 o’clock and woke up my friends . I should’ve called down to the staff and woken them up. The Maintenance man who came to fix it said it was really loose .........well why hadn’t it been fixed already instead of waiting to become an accident.

Cons: The location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Have stayed there in the past. Always great
Cons: Your booking info said no meals. That was incorrect. Also your booking info gave me the incorrect phone numbers.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place, in a premium location right on Miramar Beach at Halfmoon Bay. Our room was great and had a fireplace with a stunning view of the ocean. They serve a complimentary Happy Hour with great wine and nice appetizers like cheese, fruit, and olives. In the morning they serve a complimentary hot breakfast and it was Eggs Benedict. It was outstanding. They also served eggs, bacon, granola and of course coffee.
Cons: Be aware that if you get a room close to the lobby area that you will hear people during Happy Hour/Breakfast and you won't have a lot of privacy. Our room was great but it was maybe 2 feet from the reception desk, which was awkward.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: My toilet seat was loose, which caused me to slip off it and hit my head on the corner of the tile bathtub and break the toilet seat even more. I had already slipped on it everytime i used it but for this to happen at 6:00a.m., was a quite a shock. I had to apply pressure to my head for two hours before i called my friend for help. I bruised myself in other parts of my body too. We reported it at breakfast and it was repaired quickly, but the maintenance man admitted that it was very loose to begin with. They are really cheap plastic toilet seats.

Cons: a bit expensive but worth it.

Pros: The location is stunning overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is our second time there and we will be back.
Cons: Food prices in the golf club are great and we are all welcome there. Prices at the main house are in the upper end for dining but then again you will have the view of the Ocean there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the friendliest staff I've ever met! The food we had was amazing. Everywhere we went we felt very catered to, the grounds were beautiful, and it definitely was exactly what we were hoping it to be.
Cons: We loved everything!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool the view
6.3 Good
Cons: Too much people as there was a wedding in the property. It felt more like a Disneyland experience than a more secluded five star hotel that I was expecting.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facilities, great food, and exceptional service
Cons: I booked the room with fire pit but didn’t realize it was in the guest house which overlooks a swamp. For the rate I paid I was expecting a better view.
5.5 Okay
Pros: - excellent service - perfect food - nice place
Cons: Just the room. We were really disappointed with our suite. First, the location is not good: everybody can see us. Second, the bathroom (for a suite with such price) was really small: small shower, lack of space. And the sofa bed used by our daughter for sleeping was so uncomfortable...

6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy. View wonderful. I like coffee makers in my room and I had to ask for one! The staff was not happy about it!! I did get one however! Thanks for that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view from our balcony and < 5 min access to a good but relatively uncrowded beach. We also loved all the "little touches", like ice cream treats available (for a low price), along with complementary snacks available, and free bikes to borrow. Breakfast was essentially continental (bagels, cheese, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, pastries, muesli, yogurt, with various toppings). All-you-can-eat so we made a couple of rounds, with easy access from our room. We were on the second floor which had curtains, but note that the 4th floor does not (so pack eye masks to help sleep)
Cons: The place is great, but walkable restaurants are very limited/pricey. Also, no curtains on the 4th floor...not an issue for us but they should fix that.

Pros: The view and the staff were amazing
Cons: We couldn’t stay longer

Pros: Best oceanfront hotel in the area. Small and tucked away. This is a hidden gem.
Cons: It's so close to the ocean you cant keep the windows open all the way at night! Not really a complaint because that's why we went there!
Overview Reviews
This design-driven AC Hotel on the San Francisco Bay is all about modern architecture with wonderful waterfront views. Guestrooms feature sleek furnishings and the most comfortable bed you’ll sleep in besides your own. Complimentary parking and free WiFi combine with ample amenities including indoor pool, fitness center, flexible meeting space and media salons. AC Kitchen serves up a European-inspired breakfast, while lunch and dinner in the AC Lounge are flavored with Spanish flair. Karl the Fog cocktails highlight a bar menu focused on tapas. Located in the Cove at Oyster Point, this brand-new Bay Area hotel is convenient to everywhere – SFO is 10 minutes away via free airport shuttle; Caltrain and the San Francisco Bay Ferry are less than a mile. Proximity to a hub of biotech companies makes it ideal for business travelers; this airport hotel is adjacent to the San Francisco Bay Trail – with convenient access to Pier 39, the Embarcadero, and Golden Gate Bridge - so it’s for leisure travelers, too.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location near airport Free airport transportation
Cons: No restaurant near the hotel The amount of money for room not included breakfast
6.8 Good
Pros: I didn't read the fine print there is no refrigerator no microwave this is not a family hotel I thought I booked a room with a living room turns out they didn't have any more and I would have to change through booking Com
Cons: This hotel is for business not for a family
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great Value. Very modern and clean. Pretty view of the water.
7.0 Good
Pros: Did not have breakfast. When I asked someone about happy hour, I was told by an employee, who wasn't the friendliest or most welcoming, that there is no happy hour any day. He could have smiled even a little, but he didn't. He was aloof, which was strange for someone who worked in a hotel! He was a tall male with slightly curly hair and he was in the breakfast area or lounge between 4:30 and 5:30 pm on Friday.
Cons: That everything costs! I think the AC will become even more liked and valued as a destination hotel if it offered breakfast and happy hour. The place downstairs is so small! It could be a very intimate and fun place if there was complimentary food and drinks to enjoy. I also didn't like that the room didn't have a doored closet space. The interior was nice; but I bet a small closet that hides clothes would make the interior even better. I've stayed in hotels in Europe. The hotels don't skimp on closet space like the AC does.
6.8 Good
Pros: New hotel really clean
Cons: Cost
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was the nicest I have ever experienced! This was my favorite hotel bar far I have ever been to!
Cons: No it was awesome!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Suite was very modern.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: N/A
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really smart, chic hotel. Staff were really friendly and efficient, rooms were a good size, beds really comfortable. The rooms and general hotel area were spotlessly clean and the hotel is obviously well looked after. Not overly central for accessing the main tourist areas of San Francisco but the taxi fares into San Francisco were not over-priced and so we didn't feel disconnected. Would definitely recommend this hotel for value for money.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, modern and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly! My friend got married at Dominics Oyster Point, so this hotel was super close! 3 of us stayed 2 nights in the large King room with sofa bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, classy, professional staff, nice staff.
Cons: No free breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the layout and design of the room as it was very San Francisco chic. The bed was quite comfortable and the bedding felt luxurious. There were plenty of plug-in power outlets and even USB outlets. The view in room 331 was amazing too - especially from the seating area.
Cons: The shower in room 331 had an initial issue with maintaining constant water temperature. My room was $221.74 out the door, but my Visa was charged a flat $250.00. I'm not sure why I was charged extra. I just don't see how two small bags of Doritos ans a 20 oz. soda could be over $28.00... Was this a mistake?

Pros: Despite being by a busy street, the Dylan was very quiet and I felt very secure. The room is very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I came home very tired from activities, and got very restful sleep both nights. The breakfast fare was actually very good, well prepared and ample choices. I was very pleased and glad I chose the Dylan.
Cons: there were no slippers available in the room. I am never comfortable walking barefoot in any hotel - thye could have provided those disposable slippers.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was as comfortable as mine at home, the linens were luxurious, the shower was divine with terrific water pressure. Though it was a small room, the decor was lovely.
Cons: How small the room was for the price we paid.

Pros: Excellent location, close to Millbrae bart. Hotel is less than 5 mins walk from West Plaza exit. Free shuttle bus from and to airport. Good room size, deluxe queen room has balcony and screened windows which can be opened. Balcony has chairs and small table, it would have been nice to have a screen door so we can leave the patio door opened. Good coffee.
Cons: Shuttle bus from airport to hotel is not very frequent compared to other hotels in the area - waited 25 mins after we called and when the shuttle came, after all passengers were boarded, bus driver (Ravi) drove a few meters, stopped and get off to talk to an acquaintance for 5 mins - noted that where bus driver stopped to talk it was not a passenger pick up stop

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Generally convenient airport hotel
Cons: Check in experience terrible. Parking lot full, eventually told to park in fire lane. Both my credit cards, which I had used without problem all day, were declined at check in and they refused cash. Acted like I was a deadbeat and would not check me in. I called my bank and they said they had not declined any charges from the hotel and suggested the hotel enter the cc numbers manually. The check in person rather reluctantly agreed and the charge went right through and they checked me in. No apology given for the the problem which was clearly within their card system. no apology for the parking mess and the general rude and negative attitude.

Cons: The night staff wasn't very friendly. Not too informative! We were charged for parking, something that we had never done while staying there. When we asked why this was so...she just replied with, we always have! I asked why, three times and not once did I get a different response. Bad customer service.

Cons: Didn’t sleep at all last night! Don’t think the windows are all that great! Sounded like the window was open and ALL I heard all night was cars trucks and roaring motorcycle s going by alll night!! The curtains aren’t that great either for black outs!!! Not very insulated. Had Big foot staying upstairs!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just want I experienced from Hampton. The friendliest staff you can find.
Cons: There was construction nearby but they provide plenty of warning. The only complaint I have is the $13 parking fee!!! it's not valet or a garage.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness and breakfast.
Cons: I did not like the housekeeping staff knocking at my door at 8:00am, waking us up in the morning to see if the room was still occupied. We did not arrive till 1am and wanted to sleep in. Our room did not have a Do Not Disturb sign to put in the door..

Pros: The place is clean
Cons: There was no air in the bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Parking is free, there is even underground parking and the location is near the main freeway.
Cons: Only 1 elevator was working so the only elevator that was working was moving slowly and skipping floors. The ice machine is only located on the 1st floor (then again there are only 4 floors so I guess that’s understandable).. the guy who checked us in was super nice and pleasant to talk to!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was good. Easy distance to the Millbrae train/BART station, just a short drive. It is also apparently close to the San Mateo Cal-Train station. SM is an affordable alternative to the much more pricy San Francisco hotels.
Cons: It is located right next to Hwy.101 and the Bay. Surrounded by private houses, and it was a bit confusing navigating the residential streets to get into and out of the hotel site. We were glad to have navigation features on our phones.
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is a 3 minute drive to the San Bruno BART Station and it only costs 6$ a day for reserved parking there. It is also close to a mall that my kids loved. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet - even though the hotel is located on a busy street.
Cons: The breakfast included no hot items. The only protein available was yogurt. We asked for extra towels one night and never received them. Some staff seem a little distracted or new at their job.

Pros: Great stay at Villa Montes. Can't wait to come back.
Cons: None.

Pros: Uniqueness. Y
Cons: Updated information. ie. No dining or food on in hotel. We never ate breakfast, just a continental. Internet was great
6.3 Good
Pros: It's a good location if you're looking for someplace near the airport.
Cons: Our bathroom sink was leaking and we had water collecting on our counter. We had a hard time getting in touch with the desk person (a very young man who's name I can't remember). We used our room phone and cell phone to call and didn't get an answer. My spouse had to go down to the desk and his excuse was "I stepped outside for a while". He did come and look at the leak and asked if we could "deal with it until the morning". We used the bathroom towels to collect the water. This was after 10 pm and we had been out all day and didn't want to pack up all our stuff and move. He was of no help whatsoever.
6.0 Good
Pros: Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Room smelled musty. Had to leave window open. Too many curtains and drapes around the room...not just on windows. But for closet, wall. Very heavy and I doubt cleaned often.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, we got an upgrade, great staff on the desk, free parking and just minutes from SFO
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, atmosphere, jacuzzi.
Cons: We could not use the complimentary shuttle because even though we mentioned when we checked in that we wanted to use the shuttle for 6 am, when we checked out, we were told that we should have requested the shuttle half hour in advance. We thought that since we requested a wake up call, the shuttle was going to be available, which was not.

4.0 Okay
Pros: It was close to the airport and easy to find. The room was clean.
Cons: They put us in a room with two double beds, each of which had a different, uncomfortable mattress. The shower's water pressure was non-existent and there was only a standing shower, no tub (I'd expect a 4 star hotel room to have a tub).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything!
Cons: The conceiger need to get the luggage cart sooner. We waited for long time, to check out to rush to the airport. And they did not arrange that after taking our request for about 15 minutes... we got to carry all the luggage ourselves downstairs...

Pros: I like the location because I always have dinner or lunch at Celia's which is right across the street. However, there are a couple of other hotels a few blocks away which will be my next choice.
Cons: I've stayed here several times over the past several years. I was very disappointed this time. Overall I felt it is poorly maintained, not as clean as it has been in the past and for over $200 for a one night stay I can do better.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: There's a shuttle to / from the airport. Don't use the BART train to get to the hotel! The hotel bar is nice. I really liked the bathroom.
6.8 Good
Cons: The hotel arranged a taxi that then promptly ripped us off charging $70 for what is widely acknowledged as one for $40 ! Even the receptionist said that is what it should have cost. Good old American Hospitality !
5.0 Okay
Pros: Airport noise was unbearable! Take off and landing every five minutes. Unable to sleep! Steep price for parking over night which was not noticeable at booking time! I’ve head better stay at lower rated hotels, no noise, and free Parking! Will not be returning.
Cons: The facility and the pool were nice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location near the airline. Staff really helpful and friendly. Comfortable big bed. Room clean. Shuttle bus run back to International airline.
Cons: Arrived at night - would have liked something to eat other than cakes or crisps.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed and shower are really nice
Cons: Smell of cigarettes in the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel, but it was made by the staff who were fabulous. Really really good room and they went to the effort to find us a room available at 8am when our flight got in, which made a huge difference to our first day. There's a shuttle to and from the airport which helped. It was a little further from the BART transport into San Francisco than I hoped, but manageable.
Cons: The only, very minor, downside, was the food availability in the evening. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. In the evening there were just bar meals, which was fine but in an ideal world there would have been a bit more available. That's a very minor point against a hotel we found fabulous overall.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, great amenities and the room was very comfortable.
Cons: Spent a lot of time trying to prove my reservation was done via booking.com. Both times were issues with no reservation made . Also, upon finding it, upon my return for a future date they couldn't locate the ref again. The customer service should be more focused on making us happy. I checked the rate had dropped when I asked but still was charged the higher rate from before. Only after questioning their justification to charge me more did they then adjust back to the honest rate.
7.5 Good
Pros: Manager was awesome, clean, modern, good options for snacks.
Cons: I could not believe we had to pay $30 for parking on top of a $260 room. Honestly thought that was ridiculous.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice
Cons: 1. $30 per day self parking 2. Contruction with drilling starting at 9am in the morning 3. The floor plan with the refrigerator in the bathroom area; beneath the bedroom sink. Not good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: nice staff and good bedding
