Pick up took too long. We waited for an hour. Pick up counter staff was not friendly and made us feel like I was in prison at a visitors gate. However drop off was good. Although there were not enough staff there because it was late, the guy who takes in cats was very friendly and helped us a lot.Reviewed 28 Aug. 2023

Do NOT rent from the Hertz airport location in Corpus Christi. They literally do not answer their phones. Ever. This was confirmed by an agent at the other Corpus Hertz location where I had to move my reservation.Reviewed 30 Mar. 2022

Pros:Nothing. Everything about this experience has been the worst I’ve ever encountered.Cons:My rental car was given away with no alternatives, I had to pay double to reserve one elsewhere, I then am over charged in addition to being accused of having the vehicle involved in an accident.Reviewed 5 Jul. 2021

Pros:Was advised on day of vacation that our vehicle was not available. Call was disconnected by Gwen and then Kim @ Hertz Customer Service. Husband had to get a ride to the Hertz location in Corpus Christi TX to reach a human re: our situation. Customer Service Rep @ counter could not get our card to swipe correctly and said my husband could not have the car once he got there. Another person helped and swiped card on another credit card machine & rental was finally released to my husband. We have a special needs child and had not transportation until this matter was FINALLY resolved.Cons:We reserved a rental 2 weeks prior - it needed to be ready upon our arrival. Customer service should not disconnect callers. Rep at Hertz counter was unfriendly.Reviewed 16 Jun. 2021

Pros:The vehicle was not cleaned inside or out. It had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke inside. The staff was not helpful at all and said that no other vehicle was available. I should have canceled and requested a refund!!Cons:The paperwork clearly stated the vehicle was a no smoking vehicle AND that there is a $400 cleaning fee! Cons:It was a surprise that on top of the payment I owed $80 in taxes. This negated the benefit of this transaction vs other reservations. Then, my flight arrived at 9PM. Hertz was closed. I could not get a rental car for one night as none were available so I had to Uber for $60 more. So not reserving here next time.Reviewed 29 Mar. 2021
